Marc Lowrance opens the show.
Lowrance, “Welcome to the Chase Plaza, and ‘Wrestling at the Chase’! We have a great night of wrestling for you. The Missouri State Champion, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, is here, as, his number one nemesis, Ernie Ladd. We will talk about ‘St. Louis Star Wars’, and we have a very special guest. Let’s get things started. Ralph Pulley is in the ring.”
Match #1
Porkchop Cash vs. Mike Reed
The rugged veteran from Washington DC debuts at the Chase. He wrestles a very aggressive style. Reed puts up a fight, but Cash is too much. He wins with a DDT.

Kevin Von Erich vs. “Bulldog” Bob Brown
The popular Von Erich takes on the Midwest veteran. Brown ties every illegal moves he knows. Kevin is in early trouble. Brown has Kevin in the corner, and is choking him. Kevin begins to rally. He lands rights, and lefts. Brown is stunned. Kevin clamps on the iron claw, and it’s over.

Rufus R. Jones vs. Hercules Hernandez
During the ring introductions Gary Hart and Skandor Akbar come and sit at ringside. They both have notebooks. The crowd loves Rufus, but the young Hernandez looks like a monster. He works over Rufus, and wins with the full Nelson. Hart, and Akbar, get up and leave severally. It looks like they are both interested in the talented Hernandez.

Ernie Ladd vs. el Diablo
Ladd wants a shot at, Jim Duggan, and the Missouri Title. Tonight be meets the masked man from Mexico. Ladd starts fast. The former AFL All Pro works over Diablo. The masked man is overmatched. Ladd wins with a big boot. He grabs the mic from Ralph Pulley.
Ladd, “Jim Duggan, you listen to me! I want that Missouri Title, and you’re not man enough to stop me. You get in the ring with me, and I’m going to teach you a lesson!”

Marc Lowrance is in front of a “St. Louis Star Wars” sign.
Lowrance, “Welcome Fans, October 20 is fast approaching. We will be at the St. Louis Arena for ‘St. Louis Star Wars’. The return of wrestling has excited the Midwest fans, the action is getting intense. Here is what we know.
The Missouri State Champion, Hacksaw Duggan, defends the title against Ernie ‘The Cat’ Ladd.
The International Six Man Tag Team Championship will be on the line. The Legion of Doom defend the title against the Von Erich Brothers.
The Pretty Young Things challenge the Fantastics for the American Tag Team Championship.
‘Gorgeous’ Jimmy Garvin defends the Texas Title against ‘Gentleman’ Chris Adams.
We can also announce that we will return to the Arena on December 28. The Missouri Title will be on the line again. The winner of October’s match will meet the winner of a ‘Number One Contenders Match’. This man will be in action.”
Ric Flair comes out.
Lowrance, “Ladies, and Gentleman, the ‘Nature Boy’, Ric Flair!”
Flair, “Whooooo! Marc Lowrance, the Nature Boy is back in St. Louis, fathers lock up your daughters!”
Lowrance, “Mr. Flair, you are one of the greatest wrestlers in the history of the sport. The Missouri Title is one of the most prestigious titles in wrestling. You have your chance, but you have to beat another legend.”
Flair, “I held the Missouri Title before, and I’ve beaten them all! Who am I Wrestling, who is losing to the Nature Boy?”
Lowrance, “This Man.”
We see a video of Harley Race.
Race, “Flair, Missouri is my home, it’s where I started, and it’s where I became a star! You’re not going to come to St. Louis, and beat me. I’m beating you, and then I’m taking my Missouri Title!”
Lowrance, “What do you think?”
Flair, “Harley Race, you and I have been in the ring many times, you’re one of the best I’ve ever wrestled I said, one of the best, but I am ‘THE’ best! That Missouri Title is going to belong to me!”
Lowrance, “Ric Flair will take on Harley Race on October 20, and he will be in our ring next!”
Match #5
Ric Flair vs. Al Madril
The Nature Boy comes to ring wearing one of his beautiful robes. Madril is a solid veteran who will be a great test for Flair. In the early moments of the match, Madril holds his own, and matches Ric move for move. Finally, Flair takes over. He takes Madril down, and shouts, “Now we go to school!” Flair clamps on the figure four. Madril fights it, but he has to submit. Flair wins, and Harley Race is next!
Winner-Ric Flair
Marc Lowrance is with Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
Lowrance, “With me is the Missouri State Champion. Mr. Duggan, you meet Ernie Ladd at ‘St. Louis Star Wars’. Ladd seems ready for you.”
Duggan, “Old Hacksaw is pretty smart. I’m not taking anything away from Ladd. He’s a legend in football in wrestling. It won’t be easy, but I like being the Champion, and I’m not giving this up without a fight, it’s that right tough guy! Hooooo!”
Lowrance, “Duggan vs. Ladd is going to be a great one.”
Match #6
The Pretty Young Things vs. Johnny Mantell and Mike George
Norvell Austin and Koko B. Ware have arrived in the area, and are quickly making a name for themselves. Austin and Mantell open the contest. The action is fast and furious. Mantell is very sharp, and matches Austin move for move. Johnny tags in George, and he goes right after Norvell. Koko tags in, and the action continues. Ware takes over and wins with the ghostbuster.

Non-Title Match
Hacksaw Jim Duggan (Missouri State Champion) vs. Kelly Kiniski
The Champion is very popular with the Chase fans. The talented Kiniski provides the opposition. Duggan is very aggressive and takes the fight to Kiniski. Kelly stands his ground and we have a fight. Kiniski looks good, but Duggan is at his best. He takes over and wins with the spear. Duggan stands in the ring with the title. Down the aisle cones Ernie Ladd. He climbs in the ring, and takes the mic from Ralph Pulley.
Ladd, “Listen Duggan, I don’t want any trouble. I just came down to give you a chance to give up. Jimmy st had that title to me. You can’t beat me, I know that, and you know that. I’ll save you the embarrassment. Just hand it over!”
Duggan grabs the mic from Ladd.
Duggan, “Listen Ladd, you are great wrestler, but I know I can beat you, tough guy!”
Ladd slaps Duggan in the face and a brawl ensues. The program ends with the two brawling.
