- JOEY STYLES and PAUL E. DANGEROUSLY welcome us to the very first edition of XPW EXTREME WARFARE of 1996. Dangerously gives a ‘State of XPW’ address to open the show where he promises that Xtreme Pro Wrestling will lead the sport of professional wrestling in 1996 because we are on the cutting edge. There’s violence the likes of which have never been seen before in the US. There is international talent that you can only see here in XPW. And there is a demand from the audience to change this sport forever – and that is exactly what XPW will do this year! Paul then announces that two weeks from tonight – right here on MTV – he will personally welcome UFC Ultimate ’95 Champion Dan “The Beast’ Severn here to XPW to make a huge announcement! Paul and Joey then step aside so the wrestling can do that talking.

- Sabu was defeated by Onita (w/ Gary Hart) when to a no contest when Hart had Jado and Gedo attack Sabu. Sabu was still injured from several recent attacks by Control Terrorism Unit (CTU) in the last month, but he fought Onita like a Wildman. He looked ready to land the Arabian Facebuster, when Gedo and Jado shoved him off the top rope. Onita then hit a pile-driver to score the win.

- CTU continued their attack on Sabu after the match, with Gedo propping Sabu on his shoulders as Jado came off the top rope with a flying dropkick! Hart ordered his men to hold up Sabu. Onita then signaled that he would spray the red mist into Sabu’s eyes again – but there was a commotion on the ramp! Down the aisle ran JUSHIN THUNDER LIGER! Liger is here on MTV! Liger climbed to the top rope and landed a missile dropkick on Onita, knocking him out to the floor. Jado and Gedo then tried to double-team Liger, but the injured Sabu drilled Gedo from behind with a dropkick! Liger then hooked Jado in and connected with a running Liger-bomb! Hart and Gedo pulled Jado out to the ramp and took off with Onita as the weary Sabu stared down Jushin Liger in the ring! What a debut for the superstar Jushin Thunder Liger!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

- MALIA HOSAKA is standing by backstage with SID VICIOUS, who says he is sick and tired of being underestimated here in XPW. Sid says the time has passed where a “little man” like Taz could try to call him out. Tonight, Sid promises to power-bomb Taz to hell and then he will do the same to each and every XPW superstar in his way.

- The Outlaws (“Cowboy” Joel Deaton & “Bad” Billy Black) get a stunning upset in their first appearance in XPW when they defeat the very capable team of Mexico’s Most Wanted (Damian 666 & Halloween). Black looks particularly impressive as he can fly, despite his incredible size. The finish sees Billy Black hit a moon-sault on Damian 666 to score the pin.

- JOEY STYLES interviews THE OUTLAWS in the ring after the match and asks what has brought them to XPW. JOEL DEATON tells Joey Styles that they aren’t here for the fans, they aren’t here to make friends in either dressing room and they’re not here for glory. The Outlaws are here to make money and they way you do that is winning the XPW Tag Team Champions. Deaton puts The Bad Breed on notice that they aren’t the baddest team in Xtreme Pro Wrestling anymore.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

- VTR: We get a taped interview with International Heavyweight Champion MASA CHONO, conducted by Joey Styles. Styles asks Chono about his first defense of the gold on MTV on January 29 when he faces a living legend, TATSUMI “THE DRAGON” FUJINAMI. Chono speaks in broken English as he says he respects Fujinami, but has no reverence for the man. He will not hesitate to snap Fujinami’s neck if it gives him the victory. Styles announces that Fujinami will be here live next week to face DAVE “FIT” FINLAY. Chono ominously promises to watch that match very closely.

- VAL VENIS defeats THE SANDMAN (with WOMAN) following a Money Shot off the top rope. The finish saw Sandman shouting down at Woman as he beat on Venis, until she gave him a low blow. Venis then hit a Fisherman’s Buster on Sandman and then the top rope splash to score the pin. Venis then left the ring with Woman on his arm!

- VTR: Joey Styles narrates a special video of highlights of former European Middleweight Champion “The Man of 1000 Holds” Johnny Saint, who is said to know more wrestling holds that any other athlete in the sport:



COMMERCIAL BREAK

- THE FIGHTING IRISHMAN DAVE “FIT” FINLAY isn’t at all happy about the VTR that aired before the break promoting the arrival of JOHNNY SAINT. He grabs the ringside microphone and promises to send “the English swine” Saint on the first flight back to the hellhole across the pond if he dares show up in XPW. Finlay also vows to destroy Fujinami next week and then Terry Funk will have no choice but to give HIM the title match against Masa Chono on January 29.

- MIKEY WHIPWRECK (w/ TERRY FUNK) defeats JOHNNY SWINGER when he connects with the Whipper Snapper. Whipwreck seems to be improving each week under the guidance of XPW President Terry Funk and he manages to keep up with Swinger move-for-move this week, prior to scoring the win. Funk shakes Mikey’s hand after the match.

- VTR: COMING SOON TO XPW- GARY ABRIGHT!!!!



COMMERCIAL BREAK

- TAZ and BILL ALFONSO are standing for an interview with MALIA HOSAKA, but Alfonso doesn’t even let her finish her first question. He snatches the microphone and rants tonight that Taz will slay the dragon ("DADDY!") and show nobody can stop the Path of Rage. Taz says he’s going to keep it real short – tonight he will choke out one big, angry, psycho S.O.B. He folds his arms and stares menacingly into the camera as we go back to the ring.

- XPW Openweight Champion THE GREAT SASUKE defeats NWA Light Weight Champion EL DANDY in a long television match to unify the two titles. El Dandy scores several near falls and looks as if he has the XPW title in his grasp, but misses a senton off the top rope. Sasuke delivers a series of kicks and connects with a thunder fire power-bomb to score the win! Sasuke is presented with both belts after the match, before bowing to El Dandy and holding up the luchador’s hand.

- RON SIMMONS comes out to the ramp with microphone and says what he wants is a one-on-one match with Raven. He doesn’t care what he has to do to get it – he’ll sign for any kind of match Raven wants. Simmons says everyone knows that Raven has never beaten him fairly – Ron has something to prove, but so does Raven! Simmons calls out Raven to answer him now – but there is no answer from the XPW World Heavyweight Champion or any members of Raven’s Nest!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

- TAKA MICHINOKU is by himself backstage and he tells MALIA HOSAKA that he is ready for a match with his mentor, the XPW Openweight Champion. Next week he will have a chance to become #1 contender when he faces former champion “THE BRUISER” JOHNNY SMITH – he will not waste that opportunity!

- TAZ, with BILL ALFONSO, gets the biggest win of his professional career when he forces SYCHO SID to tap out to the Taz Mission! Sid is a man possessed in this one, but Taz keeps control by shooting on Sid’s knees and keeping him on the match. Sycho Sid gets on a run late in the match with a boot to the face and grips Taz for the choke-slam. Sid makes the mistake by laughing maniacally and looking around to the crowd, which allows Taz to knee him in the stomach. Taz then hooks Sid and drills him with a belly-to-belly suplex! The Human Suplex Machine then locks on the Taz Mission in the center of the ring and Sid has no choice but to tap out! Taz stands over Sid after the match, as Vicious has to be helped by the referee.

Now, it’s time for the PULP FICTION PROMOS to close out this week’s show:

Missy Hyatt says that her Pitbulls are hungry for blood and they will get it – in tag team competition or other wise. Hyatt puts out a challenge to XPW Heavyweight Champion Raven to get a partner to face the Pitbulls right here on MTV!

Terry Funk congratulates Mike Whipwreck on his win and says he is proud of the young star. Funk says he thinks Mikey is ready for one more match with Louie Spicolli – this time, he thinks Mikey will win. Mikey seems a little concerned.

Sabu and Jushin Thunder Liger are staring each other down as they stand in front of the XPW logo.

Bill Alfonso blows his whistle as Taz stands with his arms folded. Taz says everyone saw tonight that a big, jacked up dope like Sid will tap out just like everybody else. Beat him if you can, survive if he lets you.

Raven is sitting alone in the boiler room. He heard Ron Simmons’ latest challenge. Simmons says he will do anything to earn a title match. Well, Raven will name his price right here next week – and it will be a price that Simmons can’t possibly pay. Quote the Raven nevermore.

- JOEY STYLES and PAUL E. DANGEROUSLY open the show this week by running down tonight’s card, which will feature Dave “Fit” Finlay against Tatsumi “The Dragon” Fujinami, Jushin Liger and Sabu teaming to face CTU and Johnny Smith battling Taka Michinoku. Joey has also been told that XPW World Heavyweight Champion Raven will be here tonight to officially respond to the latest challenge from Ron Simmons. Paul E. Dangerously also announces that right here next week on Extreme Warfare, we will have the debut of Gary Albright as he faces Super Tiger in what should be a great match. Next week, we will also see XPW Openweight Champion and British Commonwealth Junior Heavyweight Champion The Great Sasuke face IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Tiger Mask III to determine the unified World Light Heavyweight Champion! There’s plenty of action tonight to get through before all that – so let’s send it up to Bob Artese to kick off out first match

Tag Team Match:
The Pitbulls (w/ Missy Hyatt) vs. Mexico’s Most Wanted (Damian 666 & Halloween)

We have a hot match to start off the show between two of the most exciting teams in wrestling. Damian and Halloween get things going and gain momentum with their speed and incredible aerial tactics. Their momentum is stopped when Pitbull #1 drills Halloween with a clothesline as the luchador attempted a flying splash. The Pitbulls hit a double clothesline on Damian 666 and then destroyed Halloween with the Super Bomb to score a major win.

Winners: The Pitbulls

- Malia Hosaka interviews The Pitbulls and Missy Hyatt after the match. Missy says her Pitbulls destroyed The Heavenly Bodies at the last PPV and they’ve just beaten Mexico’s Most Wanted. They want some fresh meat – the top quality meat here in XPW. Missy called out Raven’s Nest last week and has heard nothing. Her Pitbulls want the XPW World Heavyweight Champion in the ring, whether it’s a tag team match or a singles title match. Missy says her dogs of war are bloodthirsty and they will obliterate Raven’s Nest if that’s what it takes to get to Raven. Missy then kneels down and poses as her Pitbulls menacingly glare into the camera.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

- Sycho Sid is out after the commercial break and he is not happy at all. He grabs Bob Artese by the throat and snatches the microphone away. Sid demands to that XPW President Terry Funk come out – or he will choke-slam Bob Artese straight to hell! Funk and his protégé Mikey Whipwreck come out and tells Sid Vicious not to do anything rash! Sid says Funk is in no position to make any demands – the big man wants a title match or he will destroy Artese right now! Sid is sick and tired of being treated like a joke around here!

Terry Funk tells Sid that he can’t just give him a title match – but he can give him an opportunity! Sid smiles a little and he releases Bob Artese, who scurries away. Funk tells Sid he can earn a title match right now by defeating an opponent of Terry’s choice. The only catch is if Sid loses – he’s gone! He has to leave XPW! Sid doesn’t care – nobody is going to stop him. He agrees to the match and then demands to know who he is facing. Funk smiles and says Sid’s opponent is – Mikey Whipwreck!



Mikey turns white as a ghost as he looks at Funk and squeaks, “ME?” Funk tells Mikey that he believes in him – he knows Mikey can beat Sid! Sid laughs out loud as Mikey panics! Big Sid charges over and drills Mikey Whipwreck to start the match.

Singles Match: Title Match vs. XPW Career:
Sycho Sid vs. Mikey Whipwreck

Sycho Sid is maniacal as he tries to grab a hold of Mikey, which manages to dodge him for the opening moments of the match. Sid finally gets a hold of Mikey and brutalizes him, connecting with a series of brutal slams. Sid gets cocky and starts shouting down to XPW President Terry Funk at ringside. Funk rallies the fans to get behind Mikey and is constantly shouting encouragement to the young star.

The finish sees Sid grip Mikey by the throat for the choke-slam, but he parades Whipwreck around the ring while gripping him. Sid shouts down to Funk to watch as he destroys the legend’s protégé. Sid even stares down at Mikey and laughs maniacally – that is until Mikey kicks him square in the nuts! Big Sid is doubled over in pain now and Mikey is gasping for breath.

Funk shouts to Mikey to seize the advantage and shockingly Mikey gains a running start, grabs Sid’s neck and drills him with the Whipper Snapper! Whipwreck covers Sid and hooks both legs for the 1-2-3! What the hell? Mikey Whipwreck just scored a pin on one of the biggest stars in the sport! Sid sits up and he is stunned – his XPW career is over! Mikey Whipwreck celebrates with Terry Funk on the ramp, with Funk triumphantly raising Mikey’s right arm high in the air!

Winner: Mikey Whipwreck

- XPW World Tag Team Champions The Bad Breed are standing by with Malia Hosaka backstage. Malia talks about the many teams who want a shot at them here in Xtreme Pro Wrestling. Axl Rotten boasts that he and Ian Rotten aren’t afraid of any team. They’ve beaten the Hit Squad, they’ve beaten the Bruise Brothers – they can brawl with the best of the best! Mala announces that the duo are scheduled to defend their belts in a title vs. title match at XPW CyberSlam ’96 against the winners of next week's match between the UWFi's Doug Furnas and Phil Lafon and the Hit Squad. Axl knows that both teams are mean, nasty and full of rage – but so are the Bad Breed. It’ll be hell at CyberSlam ’96, but the Bad Breed are walking out with the belts around their waists no matter who they face!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

- Paul E. Dangerously and Joey Styles announce that the British wrestling legend Johnny Saint will be on Extreme Warfare in two weeks time to make his official debut against the very capable Shiryu! They are then interrupted by “Return of the Mack”, bringing out Ron Simmons! Simmons is all business tonight as he says he’s been waiting all week for an answer from Raven – he’s not waiting any longer! Ron says if Raven doesn’t come out here, he will back to that dressing room and beat the ass of everyone until he finds Raven. Then, he’ll beat Raven’s ass!

“Come Out and Play” hits and out come Raven’s Nest of The Blue Meanie, Stevie Richards, Mortis and trailing behind them is XPW World Heavyweight Champion Ron Simmons. Stevie gets on the microphone and says Simmons has got no leverage – he’s got nothing! Stevie says we learned early tonight from Sid Vicious that you have to go big to get what you want – and often time that doesn’t even work! Simmons shouts back that he’ll be happy to put up his XPW career for a title match against Raven! Richards goes to speak, but Simmons decks him! Stevie flops down to the canvas and Mortis goes to attack, but Raven holds him back.

Raven picks up the microphone from the canvas and says Stevie Richards is a fool, but for once he made a good point. It’s not enough for Simmons to simply put his career – Raven wants Simmons to put up his career just to EARN a title match. Simmons asks what the hell Raven is talking about. Raven stops for a second and says if Simmons wants a title match that badly, he will have to face Mortis and Stevie Richards in a handicap elimination match first. If he wins that match, he gets a title match. If he loses, he has to leave XPW forever just like Sid Vicious did earlier tonight. Then – if Simmons is lucky enough to win – he will have to put his career on the line AGAIN in the title match with Raven! Simmons thinks about the offer for a few seconds – and then says Raven is on! Ron calls out XPW President Terry Funk to make the match official.

Terry Funk makes his way out and asks if this is really something Ron Simmons wants to do? Simmons tells Funk to just sign the matches – he doesn’t need a pep talk like Mikey Whipwreck! Funk then makes the match official – the handicap title versus career bout will take place two weeks from tonight here on Extreme Warfare. However next week, we will see a preview as Raven teams with Stevie Richards and The Blue Meanie to face Ron Simmons and two partners in a six-man tag team match! Simmons says he doesn’t need any partners – but Funk reveals he’s already found partners for him. This brings out Missy Hyatt and The Pitbulls, who charge the ring! Raven’s Nest clear out and leave through the crowd as Ron Simmons goes nose-to-nose with both Pitbulls, before leaving the ring himself!

Singles Match:
Tatsumi “The Dragon” Fujinami vs. Dave “Fit” Finlay

Fujinami makes his first-ever appearance here in Xtreme Pro Wrestling in advance of challenging Masa Chono for the international title. The always game Finlay and Fujinami lock up to start, but both break as International Heavyweight Champion Masa Chono walks out onto the ramp to observe the match. Finlay and Fujinami eventually get back to work and trade technical holds on the canvas. The Fighting Irishman gains some headway with an elbow to the head and he lands a few stomps on the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

Finlay looks to be setting up for his Celtic Cross by weakening the Dragon, but Fujinami keeps right up with him. Finlay eventually scoops up Fujinami up for a slam, but The Dragon rolls through for a near fall. The two are back up, but not Fujinami overwhelms Finlay with and enziguri and then he applies a patented Dragon Suplex. Fujinami covers and scores a major win over the very tough Dave Finlay!

Winner: Tatsumi “The Dragon” Fujinami

COMMERCIAL BREAK

- Malia Hosaka is joined backstage by Val Venis and his new manager Woman. Malia asks Woman just why she has aligned herself with Venis. Woman laughs and asks – “Isn’t it obvious? A real Woman needs a real Man and clearly that old drunk Sandman was far from it!” Venis says everyone in Xtreme Pro Wrestling should be warned that the premiere male specimen is now united with the devious mind of the one and only true Woman in this sport! Venis also sends a message to The Sandman that he will be pleasuring his old lady "all... night... long!" Woman smiles evilly boasts that she and Venis are going straight to the top here in XPW. Venis then excuses himself and Woman because they have some “extracurricular activities” to get to! Val stops and then smiles as he invites Malia Hosaka to join them! She demurely passes on that offer, leaving Venis to shrug his shoulders and leave with Woman.

Tag Team Match:
Jushin Thunder Liger & Sabu vs. CTU (Gedo & Jado) (w/ Gary Hart)

Gary Hart is out with CTU here and he is briefing them before the bell. Sabu and Liger make separate entrances and stare each down prior to the bell ringing. Liger impresses in his first official XPW match as he hits many of his signature spots against Gedo and Jado early on, frustrating manager Gary Hart. Sabu tags in and immediately comes off the top rope with a moon-sault on both Gedo and Jado.

Liger and Sabu actually work well as a team here as they dominate their young opponents. The final moments of the match see Gedo and Jado attempting a double stomach-breaker on Sabu, but Liger comes off the top rope with a dropkick on Jado before the move can be executed. Sabu lands a knee to the rib and shoots Gedo off the ropes – only for Gedo to eat a hurancanra from Liger! Liger then connects with the running Liger Bomb on Gedo to score the pin! Gary Hart’s team have just lost decisively here!

Winner: Jushin Thunder Liger & Sabu

- Gary Hart is furious after the match as he is interviewed on the ramp. He motions from the back and out comes Onita! Hart holds him back from entering the ring by grabbing his hair. He shouts into the microphone that it’s time for CTU to “drop THE BOMB!” Hart challenges Liger and Sabu to meet Onita and the new member of CTU in a Barbed Wire Match at XPW CyberSlam ’96! Liger and Sabu stare each other down again – with Liger soon nodding ‘yes’ to Hart! Gary Hart then grabs Onita by the hair back to the dressing room. The question now is – who will be Atsushi Onita’s tag team partner at XPW CyberSlam ’96?

- Joey Styles and Paul E. Dangerously send us to a VTR of the team that we saw debut last week here on Extreme Warfare – “The Outlaws” Cowboy Joel Deaton and Bad Billy Black:



Singles Match:
“The British Bruiser” Johnny Smith vs. Taka Michinoku

We have a battle of two contenders for the Great Sasuke’s XPW Openweight Championship and British Commonwealth Light Heavyweight Championship here. Smith has the experience edge and bullies Taka around the ring in the early going. The Bruiser even manages to bust open his opponent with a brutal Dynamite Kid-style headbutt. Smith connects with a beautiful belly-to-back release suplex and it looks like it is over here – but somehow Taka Michinoku is able to kick out!

Taka rallies late in the match with a spinning back heel kick and then a belly-to-belly suplex. Michinoku goes up top and hits a flying knee drop, but only gets a two count. Taka goes to pull Smith up, but Johnny lands a headbutt to the stomach. Smith then pounds Taka with elbows to the back of the neck and signals for the end, but Michinoku lands a super kick out of nowhere. Smith falls back into the corner and groggily wanders out, only to get a Michinoku Driver! Taka covers and he gets the three count! What a statement here by Taka Michinoku!

Winner: Taka Michinoku

Now, it’s time for the PULP FICTION PROMOS to close out this week’s show:



We see Taz choking out Sid Vicious last week on Extreme Warfare. The camera zooms out to reveal it’s actually Taz and Bill Alfonso watching footage of that match. Taz turns to the camera and says last week he chocked out Big Sid – next, it’s the world! Taz sends a message to Dan Severn that he will see him next week!

Gary Hart is standing with Atsushi Ontia, who has his face painted half red and half white. Hart promises to “drop the bomb” here in Xtreme Pro Wrestling and that’s exactly what he’s doing. The jewe in CTU's crown is coming to XPW to join with Atsushi Onita to destroy Sabu and Jushin Liger!

International Heavyweight Champion Masa Chonso tips his black sunglasses down to look into the camera. He says in broken English that Tatsumi Fujinami was impressive tonight – he won’t deny that. The Dragon just doesn’t have enough left in the take the International Heavyweight Title.

Ron Simmons is staring both Pitbulls in front of the XPW logo. Missy Hyatt steps in between her men and Simmons and says they have a common enemy right now. Simmons agrees, but says he wants to face either or both Pitbulls WHEN he wins the XPW World Heavyweight Title.

Sabu and Jushin Thunder Liger are standing in front of the XPW logo. Sabu points to the sky as Liger gives the camera a big thumb’s up.

Terry Funk is congratulating Mikey Whipwreck on beating Sycho Sid right here on MTV tonight! Mikey thanks Funk for all his support and says if he can beat Sid Vicious, he can beat Louie Spicolli! Mikey says he is ready to face Spicolli one more time! Funk pats him on the back and says he can have that match at XPW CyberSlam ’96.

This week’s promos end with Gary Albright standing in an empty locker-room.

This transitions into footage of Dan “The Beast” Severn winning the UFC’s Ultimate ’95 tournament last month! Paul E. Dangerously talks over the footage as he announces that The Beast will be here on Extreme Warfare right here next week!

- JOEY STYLES and PAUL E. DANGEROUSLY open the show this week in the ring and run down tonight’s huge card featuring: Ron Simmons & The Pitbulls vs. Raven’s Nest, #1 contenders tag match The Can-Am Express vs. the Hit Squad and a title vs. title match as The Great Sasuke faces Tiger Mask III. Plus, Atushi Onita will face Sabu in what should be a brutal. Paul E. Dangerously then takes center stage and says he has promised to bring The Beast here to Xtreme Pro Wrestling. He has promised that this man will have a major role in CyberSlam ’96. Dangerously hypes Severn’s resume – including winning the UFC’s Ultimate ’95 tournament a month ago, before calling for Severn to come to the ring.

Dan “The Beast” Severn is surrounded by an entourage as he walks down the ramp, looking deadly serious. He enters the ring and shakes hands with both Joey Styles and Paul E. Dangerously. Paul then announces that the world is talking about the newly crowned International Heavyweight Title, which is currently held by Masa Chono. Paul recaps that Chono will defend the belt in his first defense against Tatsumi Fujinami next week. The winner of that match will defend the gold at CyberSlam ’96 against Chono’s former tag team partner and former IWGP Heavyweight Champion – Keiji Mutoh! That match will not only air on PPV in the US, but will also air on tape delay in Japan for the very first time! That brings Paul E. Dangerously to Dan “The Beast” Severn. A match like this deserves a referee to ensure that the fans get the right result – so The Beast will serve as the special guest referee at CyberSlam ’96!

Dangerously goes to get a comment from Dan Severn, but before The Beast can speak, he is interrupted by ‘New World Order’ by Ministry playing in the Olympic. That brings out the current International Heavyweight Champion Masa Chono, who is all decked out in his black trench coat and wearing the dark sunglasses. Chono takes his time getting to the ring as the camera cuts to Dan Severn, who stands looking right at the champion. Chono finally steps into the ring and ignores Paul E. Dangerously asking him why he’s out here. Chono simply sizes up Severn, with The Beast doing the same to the champion. After a few tense moments, Chono bows slightly to Severn and shakes his hand, before turning and leaving. As Chono reaches the dressing room, Paul E. Dangerously goes to get a comment from Severn, only to be interrupted once again.





Oh no – it’s The Human Suplex Machine Taz! Bill Alfonso is blowing that whistle as Taz storms down the ramp and enters the ring. Paul E. Dangerously is furious and he tries to tell Taz to leave the ring, but Taz pie-faces the executive producer of Extreme Warfare! Taz now grabs the microphone as Dan Severn watches, never taking his eye off the Human Suplex Machine! Taz snickers as he says it’s all well and good if Dan Severn wants to be a referee, but he thought they called him The Beast because he has balls! Taz says the only reason Dan Severn should be here in Xtreme Pro Wrestling is to face Taz – the Human Suplex Machine! Taz says he doesn’t care if it’s a wrestling ring or an octagon, he wants to make Dan “The Beast” Severn tap out in front of the world! Taz then throws the microphone down and gets right in Severn’s face.

These two look they could go here and now – Taz slaps Dan Severn across the face. Severn whips around, finally losing his cool exterior, and shouts that he’s going “kill” Taz. The two charge towards each, but Severn’s entourage gets in between them! A flood of XPW officials hit the ring and it is taking nearly 20 men to keep them separate! Paul E. Dangerously is furious as Taz keeps trying to get through the barricade of people to get at Severn. It takes twelve people to get Taz out of the ring and Paul E. Dangerously screams for him to be thrown out of the arena! Dangerously then tries to apologize to Dan Severn, who is shouting that he wants a piece of Taz. Joey Styles then sends us to a VTR of The Outlaws while the ring is cleared.

#1 Contenders Tag Team Match:
The Can-Am Express (Furnas/Lafon) vs. The Hit Squad (Togo/Teioh)

Joey Styles announces that Paul E. Dangerously is backstage dealing with Severn’s handlers so he will likely not be back out here tonight. Joey can confirm that Taz and Bill Alfonso have been ejected from the arena. This match will determine who faces XPW Tag Team Champions Axl & Ian Rotten at CyberSlam ’96. Joey notes that Furnas and Lafon are former All-Japan Tag Team Champions. The match itself is hotly contested, with Furnas and Lafon getting a lot of offense in, with Furnas drilling Togo with a brutal belly-to-back suplex.

Teioh and Togo try to overcome Furnas with their speed and manage to drill him with brutal spinning wheel kicks to the front and back of Doug’s head. Lafon comes off the top rope with a clothesline on Men’s Teioh. Phil rises to his feet, only to walk into a super kick from Dick Togo! Doug Furnas is back up now and he goes for a running clothesline, but Togo ducks it. He catches Furnas around and drills him with the STO! Togo covers and hooks both legs for the 1-2-3! The Hit Squad become the #1 contenders and they will go on to face The Bad Breed again at CyberSlam ’96.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

- VTR: We see footage of Paul E. Dangerously leading a dozen or so security officers in rejecting Taz out of the building, while the Human Suplex Machine shouts that he WILL make Dan Severn tap out. We then go to Malia Hosaka, who is standing by with Val Venis and Woman on the ramp. Hosaka announces that Val Venis will face Haybusa at CyberSlam ’96. Venis says he has already beaten the so-called ‘hardcore wrestler’ Sandman and taken his Woman – now he’ll beat a wrestler who many have said is on the cutting edge of pro wrestling. Venis promises to hit the Money Shot on Hayabusa for the 1-2-3 – and also advises Hayabusa not to bring his wife to the PPV! Venis snickers and walks off with Woman as the camera flashes to a very attractive blonde woman in the front row holding a “Kiss Me Val” sign.



Singles Match:
“The Wrestling Machine” Gary Albright vs. Johnny Swinger

This is the debut of “The Wrestling Machine” here in Xtreme Pro Wrestling. Joey Style recaps that he is a former NCAA standout and a Nebraska amateur wrestling record holder. Albright enters to 'Creeping Death' by Metallica. Albright is all business as he warms up while the ring announcements are made. He goes to lock up with Johnny Swinger, who mocks him. Swinger finally locks up, with Albright immediately taking him down and applying a side-headlock. Albright is methodical as he weakens Swinger limb by limb.

Albright slowly gets back to his feet and watches as Swinger gets back to his knees. Albright approaches, grabs the neck and applies a brutal sugarhold, before switching to a crucifix armbar. Albright now releases the hold and pulls Swinger up, only to KILL! MURDER! DEATH! him with a vicious double-underhook suplex to score the automatic pin.

Winner: Gary Albright

- Malia Hosaka steps into the ring to interview Gary Albright, who just stares back at her. Hosask announces that Albright will face another gaijin standout – ‘Dangerous’ Dan Spivey – at CyberSlam ’96 in a battle of the super-heavyweights. Hosaka asks how he will prepare to face Spivey, but Albright won’t answer. Malia tries to change her tact and asks if Gary is studying tapes of Spivey. Albright finally menacingly approaches and simply says, “Spivey – take a look!” Albright then grabs Swinger, who is being helped back to his feet. He drills Johnny with a belly-to-back suplex, which knocks Swinger clean out. Gary Albright wipes his hands and leaves the ring without saying another word.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

- XPW Tag Team Champions Axl and Ian Rotten join Malia Hosaka backstage. Axl says The Hit Squad proved how good they are tonight by defeat The Can-Am Express, but they still aren’t good enough to take the gold. Ian promises to take their match at CyberSlam to the extreme – and no matter the violence or carnage that results, the Rottens WILL walk out as champions. Axl and Ian hold up the belts as Malia Hosaka sends us up to the ring for our next contest.

Double Title Singles Match:
XPW Openweight Champion The Great Sasuke vs. IWGP Jr Champion Tiger Mask III

The two men bow to each other to start the match, with both men trading offensive flurries off the bat. Tiger Mask hits the ropes and goes for a cross-body block, but Sasuke drills him with a dropkick to the stomach. Sasuke is after Tiger Mask right away and applies a Fujiawara armbar, but Tiger Mask twists and turns and breaks the hold. The two get to their feet, only for Tiger Mask III to send Great Sasuke to the canvas with a huracanrana. Tiger Mask III measures him up and then drives a knee into Sasuke’s back and holds it for a few seconds, before referee Jerry Calhoun makes him break the hold. Tiger Mask then spends several minutes really keeping Great Sasuke on the mat.

Tiger Mask III seems to very methodical in his strategy thus far and is certainy living up to his reputation as the IWGP champion. Tiger Mask III applies a leg-scissors on Sasuke and really puts pressure on it. Tiger Mask eventually decides to release the hold and sends Sasuke into the corner and follows up with a flying knee to the chin. Tiger Mask then moves Sasuke up to the top rope and attempts a belly-to-belly suplex, but Sasuke chops him back several times. Tiger Mask finally palms Sasuke in the throat with a thrust and Sasuke crotches himself backwards with his misfooting. Tiger Mask is able to tiger-suplex him back in to the ring!

Tiger Mask is able to put his arm over Great Sasuke’s midsection for a cover. Jerry Calhoun makes the count and we get one...two…two and a half-thre-NO! Great Sasuke is once able to kick out here! These two are down momentarily after the pin, but they slowly manage to make their way back to their feet and they trade kicks for a moment. Tiger Mask ducks a right leg and then nails a kick to the midsection that sends Sasuke sprawling. Tiger Mask then hooks Sasuke's waist, pops the hips and then drives down to the canvas with a dragon suplex. He now climbs up top and goes for the flying senton, but somehow Sasuke gets out of the way. Sasuke is right back to his feet now and although he’s dazed, he boots an injured Tiger Mask in the gut and levels him with the Michinoku Driver! Sasuke covers and he gets the 1-2-3! Taka Michinoku is in the ring after the match and he raises the hand of The Great Sasuke, while also pointing to all three title belts and saying he wants a shot! Sasuke nods and then celebrates with his new titles.

Winner: Unified World Light Heavyweight Champion The Great Sasuke

COMMERCIAL BREAK

- XPW President Terry Funk and Paul E. Dangerously are discussing what happened earlier in the show with Dan Severn and Taz, when ‘Madonna’s Boyfriend’ Louie Spicolli walks up. Spicolli taunts Funk and says that he will kill Mikey Whipwreck’s dream at CyberSlam ’96. Louie said Mikey impressed a lot of people with his win over Sid Vicious last week, but Spicolli says unlike Sid he is not a complete friggin’ moron. Funk warns Louie not to be cocky, but Spicolli scoffs at him. Louie says he’s beaten Mikey a bunch of time before – this time, he will embarrass him and send him back to the psych ward where the little schizo belongs.

Singles Match Match:
Atsushi Onita (w/ Gary Hart) vs. Sabu

“Wild Thing” by Sam Kinison plays as Gary Hart leads Atsushi Onita down to the ring. Half of Onita’s face is painted with streaked red and white paint, while the other has no paint. Sabu charges out next and he immediately begins brawling with Onita. The referee tries to get some order before ringing the opening bell, but he is shoved down by both Sabu and Onita and he abandons the ring entirely! Gary Hart is stands watching and taking notes.

Onita shoots Sabu off the ropes and ducks down for a back-drop, but Sabu hooks and drills him with a pile-driver. Sabu now rolls out to the floor and grabs a steel chair and takes to the top rope. He leaps off with a chair shot across Onita’s forehead! He know pulls a table out from under the ring and he now shoves the table into the ring just THE FIGHTING IRISHMAN DAVE FINLAY hits the ring!

Finlay and Sabu stare each down, until The Fighting Irishman kicks Sabu right in the stomach! Gary Hart now barks out orders as Finlay drills Sabu with a kick to the side of the head. Finlay and Onita are now working Sabu over. Here comes Jushin Thunder Liger! Liger charges into the ring and hits a cross-body block that takes down Finlay and Onita! He gets back up and begins stomping on Onita, until Finlay grabs him from behind and hits a belly-to-back suplex.

Sabu is struggling to his feet, but Onita strikes him in the throat and throws Sabu onto the canvas. Onita pounds on Sabu and throws him to Finlay. The Fighting Irishman then drills Sabu with a tombstone pile-driver! Gary Hart now steps into the ring and applauds as Finlay and Onita stand over the fallen Sabu and Liger. Hart looks right into the camera and says “CTU” as he leads Finlay and Onita away! Liger is now back to his knees and he checks on Sabu as we go to our next VTR.

Winner: No contest

- VTR: “Theme from The Godfather” plays as we are taken to the front of a place called ‘Nico’s Pizza’. We see three men – one bald man dressed in a leather jacket and a golfing cap, one dressed like he’s straight out of ‘Saturday Night Fever’ and a smaller guy who has a blue shirt on with the Italian flag in the middle. The little guy introduces himself as Little Guido Maritato and says he is coming to Xtreme Pro Wrestling with his two buddies, Big Vito and “Disco Inferno” Tony Manero. Little Guido promises that the three will teach all the gavons in XPW about what a real man looks like. Because nobody is more extreme than the Full Blooded Italians!

- VTR: Let’s take a look at the man who will challenge Masa Chono for the International Heavyweight Title – Tatsumi “The Dragon” Fujinami:



Main Event: Six-Man Teag Team Match:
Ron Simmons & The Pitbulls (w/ Missy Hyatt) vs. Raven’s Nest (Mortis, Stevie Richards & Blue Meanie) (w/ Raven)

XPW Heavyweight Champion Raven gets on the microphone and says that Xtreme Pro Wrestling plays by Raven’s Rules – not the other way around. So Raven WILL not take part in tonight’s match – he will NOT conform to Terry Funk’s rules. Raven says he has entrusted The Blue Meanie to step in. Raven then goes and joins Joey Styles on commentary. Ron Simmons and The Pitbulls charge out next and go to town on all three members of Raven’s Nest. Simmons and the Pitbulls dominate the entire match and really brutalize Meanie and Mortis in particular.

Missy Hyatt cheers on her tag team as they both gorilla press Mortis and Stevie Richards. The finish sees Simmons drill Mortis with a spear. Pitbull #2 then comes in and puts Mortis on his shoulders as Pitbull #1 comes off with a flying bulldog! Pitbull #1 covers Mortis for the three count! Raven is furious at ringside as he orders Meanie and Stevie to pull Mortis out of the ring. Simmons blocks them and he throws Mortis into the center of the ring. Meanie, Stevie beg off and Raven leaps over the rail into the crowd.

Ron Simmons now pulls a table out from under the ring and throws it into ring. He sets the table up in the ring as Pitbull #2 sits on the top rope as Pitbull #2 scoops up Mortis and hands him off to his partner. Simmons sets up the table and then #2 dives off the top rope and hits the Super Bomb through a table on Mortis! Joey Styles: “OH MY GOD!!” Simmons, The Pitbulls and Missy Hyatt stand tall in the ring as Raven looks pissed and concerned from the crowd.

- JOEY STYLES and PAUL E. DANGEROUSLY open the show this week in the ring and run down tonight’s huge card featuring: Masa Chono’s first defense of the International Title against Tatsumi “The Dragon” Fujinami, plus Ron Simmons puts his career on the line in a handicap match against Stevie Richards and supposedly Mortis, but we all saw Mortis take a Super Bomb through a table last week. Hopefully we will get some clarification on the condition of Mortis later on.

Paul E. Dangerously then announces that the #1 contender to the International Heavyweight Title is here tonight – from New Japan Pro Wrestling, it’s IWGP Heavyweight Champion Keiji Mutoh!





IWGP Heavyweight Champion Keiji Mutoh makes his way down to the ring, decked out in his Space Lone Wolf-era attire. Mutoh shakes hands with both Dangerously and Styles and bows to the audience here in the Olympic. Styles reiterates that Mutoh will challenge the winner of tonight’s match between Chono and Fujinami in a match strictly for the International Heavyweight Title at CyberSlam ’96, which will stream live on the internet.

Dangerously hypes the history between Chono and Mutoh – who compromised the ‘holy trinity’ of New Japan in the early 90s along with Shinya Hashimoto. Paul asks if he would prefer to be in the ring with Chono, a man whom he knows so well. Mutoh – in broken English – says both men are very dangerous. Chono can be sadistic and brutal in the ring, but there is no better technician than Fujinami. Mutoh says he will be in for a challenge whoever he faces, but he is prepared for anything. Mutoh is then escorted to his ringside seat by his handlers.

Singles Match:
Johnny Swinger vs. Shiryu

The masked Shiryu gets things going here against Swinger, who is cocky as always. Shiryu gets in a series of swift kicks, shoots Swinger off the ropes and then drills him with a flying head-scissors. Swinger gets back to his feet dazed, only for Shiryu to springboard off the ropes with a big splash that almost scores the three count.

Shiryu pulls Swinger up, but suddenly there is a commotion in the Olympic! The camera pans to the ramp to show Bill Alfonso blowing his whistle as the Human Suplex Machine Taz storms down to the ring. Taz enters the ring and is met by confusion by both wrestlers. Taz boots Swinger in the gut and immediately plants him with the pumphandle Taz Plex! Shiryu tried to reason with Taz, but was gripped and drilled with a belly-to-belly Taz Plex! The referee now throws the match out as Taz hurls both Swinger and Shiryu out to the floor.

Winners: No Contest

*Taz gets on the microphone after the match and says Paul E. Dangerously can try to shut him up, but it will NEVER happen! Taz promises that he will make Paul’s life a living hell until he gets the Dan “The Bitch” Severn in the ring right here in Xtreme Pro Wrestling. Dangerously is boiling at ringside as Taz tells him not to get up from his seat or he will get his ass choked out. Taz then looks over at Keiji Mutoh at ringside and asks where his goofy makeup is. Mutoh just looks as Taz tells the IWGP Champion that he would be happy to choke him out right here tonight, maybe then maybe he will get a title shot around here.

Keiji Mutoh now rises from his chair, but Taz soon turns his attention elsewhere as Terry Funk enters the ring. Funk doesn’t look to happy and he asks for the microphone – only for Taz to tell him to drop dead. Taz says he doesn’t give a crap if Funk is Mr. Authority around here because nobody tells Taz what he can and cannot do. Funk asks again for the microphone, only for Taz to flip him off! A furious Funk finally waves to the back and out come a dozen security guards. Taz smiles slyly as the security guards hit the ring. There is a standoff briefly, before Taz holds out his hands to be handcuffed with a big grin on his face. He shouts that Funk is gonna pay for this as Terry now grabs the microphone and tells the security to “throw his ass out of the building!” Bill Alfonso is going nuts blowing the whistle as Taz is escorted out of the arena for the second week in a row!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

- Malia Hosaka is joined for the first time on Extreme Warfare by ‘Dangerous’ Dan Spivey, who will face ‘The Wrestling Machine’ Gary Albright at CyberSlam ’96. Spivey says he’s faced the biggest and the bad like Bruiser Brody, Stan Hansen and Andre The Giant and Gary Albright is about as tough as any of them. The problem for Albright is that Spivey is just that little bit tougher, which means all those suplexes are useless. Spivey says he wants the International Heavyweight Title and he will enjoy going through Gary Albright to get it.

Tag Team Match:
The Outlaws vs. Super Tiger and Black Dragon

This match marks the first appearance of Black Dragon, who is a Caucasian wrestler wearing a black costume similar to Ultimo Dragon. Super Tiger and Black Dragon experience friction right away as Black Dragon exhibits some rougher tactics. He does look impressive though as he nearly scores a pin-fall on Joel Deaton with a Dragon Suplex. Deaton was only saved by interference from his partner Billy Black.

Deaton and Black use their size advantage to rebound once Super Tiger is tagged in. They isolate him on their side of the ring and with a series of suplexes. Super Tiger finally mounts some offense, but he is tagged on the back by Black Dragon as he hits the ropes. There is confusion between the two, allowing Black to suplex Dragon into the ring. He then lands a big boot and goes up top for a moon-sault to make the pin. Joel Deaton holds off Super Tiger to score another win for The Outlaws. Black Dragon and Super Tiger have words after the match, with Dragon storming off.

Winner: The Outlaws

- Val Venis and Woman are interviewed by Malia Hosaka on the ramp again before we take our next break. Venis is talking about his match with Hayabusa at CyberSlam ’96, when both him and Woman get distracted by the blonde female fan who has the ‘Money Shot Me Val’ sign. She is shouting for Venis to autograph her cutoff shirt, which Woman doesn’t like one bit. Venis tries to calm her down and goes to walk over to the fan, only for Woman to drag him away. The loverlorn fan pouts as we go to our next commercial.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

- VTR: Gary Hart is standing in front of the CTU logo with Atsushi Onita and The Fighting Irishman Dave “Fit” Finlay. Hart narrates over footage of the two men brutalizing Sabu and Jushin Thunder Liger last week. We go back to the trio as Gary Hart says he’s never afraid to spend good money and this time it bought him the perfect mercenary. Finlay tells Gary Hart that he’ll do whatever CTU wants as long as the money keeps rolling in – but he has to admit he will enjoy stomping out scum like Liger and Sabu. Finlay promises - that at the Street Fight at CyberSlam – he will show the world just who the real homicidal, genocidal maniac of XPW really is!

Singles Match:
Taka Michinoku vs. Hayabusa

Both of these men could be contenders for The Great Sasuke’s World Light Heavyweight Championship – a win for either here could guarantee a title match. Michinoku and Hayabusa are cautious in the opening moments here, with nearing man wanting to make a mistake. Hayabusa dropkicks Michinoku down to the canvas and applies a leg-scissors around Taka’s neck, but Michinoku breaks the hold by hooking his legs around the bottom rope and forcing a break. Taka Michinoku leaps up and connects with the super kick and then takes control for the next several minutes.

Hayabusa slides out to the floor to try to regroup, but that backfires as Taka leaps off the top rope with a flying splash which catches Hayabusa on the floor. Michinoku then slides back into the ring, hits the ropes and springboards with a senton down onto Hayabusa who is sprawled out on the concrete floor. He then throws Haybusa back into the ring and goes back up top.

Taka goes for a flying leg drop, but Hayabusa moves out of the way. Michinoku is hurt here as Hayabusa gets back to his feet and hooks him into a Fisherman Buster for a near fall. Hayabusa goes up top possibly for the Firebird Splash, but he takes too long! Taka is up and he dropkicks Hayabusa, who crotches himself on the top rope. Taka then suplexes him off into a Super Brain Buster to score the three count! Taka Michinoku scores a major win here tonight on Extreme Warfare.

Winner: Taka Michinoku

- VTR: Little Guido, Disco Inferno and Big Vito - known as the FBI - are down by the docks. Disco Inferno is checking his hair in the mirror, while Big Vito stands imposingly next to him with a grimace on his face. The camera pans over to Little Guido, who is kneeling at the dockside with his hand in the water. Guido says he may not be a big man, but he's ALWAYS been the 'enforcer' of the family. Pretty soon, everybody in Xtreme Pro Wrestling will be sleeping with the fishes! Little Guido now releases hand as a man's head pops up from the water and he is gasping for air. The FBI logo flashes on the screen as we go to break.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

- XPW World Heavyweight Champion Raven is in the ring with Stevie Richards and Blue Meanie as we come back. Raven says Mortis is gone – he’s not coming back. He thought out canceling this match tonight because Ron Simmons doesn’t deserve this opportunity. However, he had a change of heart and he has found a substitute for Mortis. The Blue Meanie starts to tense up, but Raven stops and shoves him to the mat. Raven says snidely that he’d never trust The Meanie to hold this! Raven then says he called in a favor and now Ron Simmons will not only have to deal with Stevie Richards, but also the most dangerous wrestler to come out of W*ING:



MR. POGO!!!

Handicap Match: Raven’s Rules (Elimination Style):
Ron Simmons vs. Dancin’ Stevie Richards & Mr. Pogo

The dangerous Mr. Pogo works his nunchakus as Ron Simmons makes his way down to the ring. Simmons has his game face on and he doesn’t even wait for introductions to storm the ring and drill Richards with a clothesline. Ron now begins brawling with Pogo, who throws rights and lefts. Simmons absorbs the blows, shoots Pogo off the ropes and drills him with the flying shoulder block!

Ron Simmons picks Pogo up and power bombs him and covers to score the three count in under one minute! So much for that surprise Raven! Raven is furious at ringside as Dancin’ Stevie Richards looks horrified that all the pressure is on him! Raven now looks to the back and motions as two gigantic men run down the ramp.



Paul E. Dangerously identifies these men as former W*ING Tag Team Champions The Headhunters as they hit the ring and begin double-teaming Simmons. This match is being fought under Raven’s Rules, which means anything goes so the referee can do nothing. Simmons is beaten down by these two men, until ‘Thunderkiss ‘65’ plays over the public address. Here come Missy Hyatt and her Pitbulls! The Pitbulls storm the ring and begin decking both Headhunters. Raven is now furious again as The Pitbulls fight with The Headhunters out to the ramp and back to the dressing room.

Raven’s second plan failed – and now he looks to the Blue Meanie! Raven orders Meanie to get in the ring to help Richards. A timid Meanie does so and for a few seconds, the two are able to work Simmons over. Meanie now goes up for the Meanie Sault, but Simmons gets his knees up! Stevie Richards is right on Simmons, but Ron hurls him out to the floor. Simmons now picks up Meanie, presses him above his head and hurls him directly onto Raven at ringside!

Ron Simmons is fired up here – but he turns right into the Stevie Kick! Richards covers and hooks both legs to get the 1-2-3! No! Simmons gets his shoulder up just in time. Richards can’t believe as he stands ready – he’s going for the Stevie Kick again. Simmons is up and Stevie swings his leg, but Simmons catches him and spine-busters the hell out of him! Ron makes the cover and he gets the three count! Ron Simmons has done it – he wins one final title shot against Raven at CyberSlam ’96 against all odds!

Winner: Ron Simmons

- Raven escapes through the crowd after the match and he is clearly distraught. Joey Styles step into the ring after this match and speaks with the brand new #1 contender Ron Simmons. Styles reminds Simmons that whole this was a major victory, he will have to put his career on the line AGAIN in his match against Raven! Simmons is fully aware of that, but he just whooped three dudes asses. That should make Raven real scared. Simmons promises that he will finally grab that brass ring at CyberSlam ’96!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

- VTR: Joey Styles and Paul E. Dangerously narrate over clips of International Heavyweight Champion Masa Chono and Tatsumi Fujinami from New Japan Pro Wrestling. Will Masa Chono’s first defense also his last defense? Let’s find out.

Main Event: International Heavyweight Title match:
Masa Chono (1st Defense) vs. Tatsumi “The Dragon” Fujinami

The challenger Tatsumi Fujinami is out first and he stops by to speak with Keiji Mutoh at ringside. “New World Order” by Ministry ushers the arrival of International Heavyweight Champion Masa Chono, who just glares at Mutoh as he enters the ring. Chono and Fujinami square off as both Styles and Dangerously hype this match as a true treat for American viewers. A mach of this caliber would sell out the Tokyo Dome in Japan – and it’s being aired tonight free on MTV. Dragon takes control after he is able to catch the champion with an armdrag and then he enziguir kicks Chono as he stumbled back to his feet. Dragon goes for the cover, but Chono powers out. Tatsumi Fujinami hits the ropes and catches the champion with a jumping knee smash and then applies the Sharpshooter hold on the International Heavyweight Champion. However, Masa Chono is able wiggle around and move towards the ropes and hook his right arm on the bottom rope. Referee Jerry Calhoun forces Dragon to break the hold, but Tatsumi Fujinami is rack back on top of Chono and he catches the World Heavyweight Champion with a series of strikes and kicks to the chest.

Dragon pulls Chono up, but the International Heavyweight Champion responds by hooking Dragon’s stomach and belly-to-belly suplexing him in the center of the ring. Chono is methodically as he picks apart Tatsumi Fujinami and lands two knee drops to the shoulder. Masa Chono stalls a bit and Tatsumi Fujinami is able to move out of the way of a corkscrew elbow. Both men rise to their feet and once these two are back up, Chono looks to be going for the Yakuza Kick. Tatsumi Fujinami sees this coming and he dodges the blow and uses Chono’s own momentum to lift him into the air from behind and drop him with a Dragon Suplex! This could be it here fans, but it takes Dragon several seconds to make the cover. The referee makes the count for a near fall. Masa Chono throws his left shoulder up at the very last second to break the count!

These two men are again very slowly get to their feet, before Tatsumi Fujinami whips Masa Chono off the ropes. Dragon goes for a leap frog, but it looks like the International Heavyweight Champion saw this coming because he drives his shoulder into the right knee of Tatsumi Fujinami as he leaps into the air, sending Dragon tumbling to the mat. Chono then grabs the leg, spins around and hooks in his dreaded STF! Fujinami struggles and tries to get to the ropes, but it’s no use! Fujinami is stuck in the middle of the ring and eventually he has no choice but to tap out! Masa Chono successfully defends the International Heavyweight Title. Mutoh stands up from his seat and eyes Chono, who is handed the gold belt. Chono drapes the title over his shoulder and points to Mutoh! He then turns around and bows to Fujinami, who put in a fantastic effort.

*Joey Styles and Paul E. Dangerously are about to sign off, but Joey is told that there has been an incident in the back. Our camera takes us to the back, where Taz has a cameraman by the throat. Paul E. Dangerously demands to know how Taz got back in here. Taz has the cameraman follow him as he bumrushes an unsuspecting Mikey Whipwreck! Taz grabs Mikey, hooks him and Taz Plexes him right through a table! A distraught Terry Funk and security are on the scene, but they are too late. Taz shouts that next time it Funk in a bloody heap as he is again wrangled by a dozen security officers before the scene fades out..
