Mercer, “Welcome to ‘American Championship Wrestling’! We are one week away from ‘Labor Day Star Wars’. The Superdome is getting ready for all the action. Today, we will talk about the big show, and we have some great action. Kevin Von Erich takes on the Magic Dragon, Jimmy Garvin meets Johnny Mantell, and Chris Adams takes on Kelly Kiniski. Let’s go to Marc Lowrance!”
Match #1
Al Madril vs. Ric McCord
The veteran from Los Angeles goes to work. The muscular McCord fights back with aggressive tactics. Madril is too much and wins with the Indian deathlock.

Boris Zhukov w/General Skandor Akbar and Alexis Smirnoff vs. Chief Jules Strongbow
The massive Russian will team with Alexis Smirnoff to take on Hacksaw and the Junkyard Dog. He better not look past the Chief. Strongbow starts fast. His war dance seems to confuse Zhukov. Boris is able to right the ship and win with a headbutt.

Mike Reed vs. Mike Von Erich
The younger Von Erich has looks very good. Reed is game, and puts up a good fight. Mike controls the action, and wins with a sunset flip.

Mercer, “All roads lead to the Superdome. September 3, bell time is 8:00 PM. ‘Labor Day Star Wars’ May just be the biggest night in wrestling history. Let’s talk about what we will see.

Kevin Von Erich faces the Great Kabuki
‘Gorgeous’ Jimmy Garvin defends the Texas Title against ‘Gentleman’ Chris Adams, a special stipulation, Sunshine will be barred from the Superdome
The International Six Man Tag Team Championship will be decided. Paul Ellering’s ‘Legion of Doom’, the Road Warriors and the Barbarian, meet the Japanese team of Giant Baba, Tiger Mask and Super Tiger.
In a ‘grudge match’, Hacksaw Jim Duggan teams with the legendary Junkyard Dog to meet General Skandor Akbar’s Russian Team of Boris Zhukov and Alexis Smirnoff.
And in the main event, Kerry Von Erich defends the American Heavyweight Title against Gino Hernandez.
Jimmy Garvin is not happy. Let’s hear from the Texas Champion.”
Jimmy Garvin and Sunshine are in the interview area.
Garvin, “Sunshine! What’s going on? You can’t be barred from the Superdome! I won’t stand for it! Fritz Von Erich, what are you doing?”
Sunshine, “Calm down, Jimmy, calm down. We’ll figure this out.”
Garvin, “Adams, you’re going to pay for this! I’m holding you responsible for this! Your time is coming!”
Mercer, “Let’s hear from the ‘Gentleman’.”
Chris Adams is in another interview area.
Adams, “Garvin, I’ve had you beaten time, and time, again. Then Sunshine sticks her nose into things. Now I’ve got you where I want you. It’s one on one, and you can’t beat me that way. I know you are worried, and you should be!”
Mercer, “This is one show you do not want to miss. A limited number of tickets are still available, don’t wait!”

“Gentleman” Chris Adams vs. Kelly Kiniski
Adams feels he has things set up to take the Texas Title. Today, Kelly Kiniski is the opponent. The match starts quickly, and Kiniski holds his own. Kelly gets in a few cheap shots, and this angers Adams. He takes over and wins with a superkick.

Non-Title Match
“Gorgeous” Jimmy Garvin (Texas Champion) w/Sunshine vs. Johnny Mantell
Garvin struts around the ring as Sunshine looks after him. The cowboy from Montague County is ready for action, and referee Rick Hazzard holds him back. They lock up, and Mantell takes over. Garvin is frustrated and takes to the floor to be consoled by Sunshine. Garvin returns to the ring, and goes to his underhanded tactics. He uses the brain buster for the win.

Marc Lowrance is with Kevin Von Erich.
Lowrance, “With me is Kevin Von Erich. Kevin, at ‘Labor Day Star Wars’ you meet the Great Kabuki. A couple of weeks ago, you suffered the green mist. I know you are looking for revenge.”
Kevin, “I don’t know what that stuff is, but it burns like heck. You never want to suffer injuries to your eyes. I do want payback, but it won’t be easy. Kabuki has Hart with him, and you have to keep an eye on him.”
Lowrance, “Tonight, you meet the Magic Dragon. That’s a good rehearsal for Kabuki.”
Kevin, “That’s right, I’m ready for the Dragon, and then comes Kabuki!”

The Fantastics vs. Los Diablos
The popular Fantastics meet the masked team from Mexico. The Diablos try every underhanded tactic in the book. It works for a time. The Fantastics tag in and out. The match is fast paced. The end comes with the Fantastic flip.

Kevin Von Erich vs. The Magic Dragon
Kevin comes to the ring amidst the cheers of the crowd. The masked man from Macau is ready for action. Referee Bronko Lubich calls for the bell and we are underway. Dragon uses his martial arts skills, and Kevin takes a step back. Von Erich counters with good old American rights and lefts. Kevin whips the Dragon into the ropes and clamps on the iron claw. The Dragon is out. Suddenly, the Great Kabuki hits the ring. He and Kevin brawl. Kevin seems to get the better of things, and Kabuki takes to the floor. Both men stare daggers at each other.
Winner-Kevin Von Erich
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “Tensions are very high, and they are about to boil over. Next week is ‘Labor Day Star Wars’, I can’t wait!”
