Marc Lowrance opens the show.
Lowrance, “Welcome to ‘Wrestling at the Chase’! What a night of action we have for you. The Missouri State Title will be decided tonight. Hacksaw Duggan meets Boris Zhukov. The pride of America is on the line, can Hacksaw stand up for the USA? We also have an exciting tag team match, the Super Destroyers of General Skandor Akbar take on the Fantastics. Speaking of tag teams, we have a new one in the ring. Let’s go to Ralph Pulley.”
Match #1
The Pretty Young Things vs. Mike Reed and Buddy Moreno
The PYTs, Norvel Austin and Koko B. Ware, are very aggressive. They tag in and out, and their opponents don’t know what hit them. Ware uses the ghostbuster for the win.

Ernie Ladd vs. Rufus R. Jones
The popular Jones has his hands full. Ladd is vicious, and powerful. Jones dances around the ring, and the fans love it. Ladd does not. He attacks, and Jones is in trouble. Ernie takes over and wins with the big boot.

Kevin Von Erich vs. Mike George
Kevin Von Erich is one of the top stars in the sport. George is a very capable opponent. George tries to rough up Kevin, but Von Erich is ready for it. Kevin fights back, and we have a slugfest. Von Erich takes over and wins with the iron claw.

Bulldog Bob Brown vs. Iceman King Parsons
Brown jumps Parsons before the bell. He pounds away and the popular Iceman is in trouble. Brown is vicious. Finally, referee Rick Hazzard gets Brown off Parsons. Iceman tears off his jacket, and he is ready for action. He goes right after Brown. Things go Iceman’s way, and he wins with the butt bump.

Marc Lowrance is seated in the studio.
Lowrance, “ACW’s move into St. Louis has been a great success. With the help of Sports Time, we have brought the best in wrestling to the fans in 11 states. ACW continues to grow in the ‘Show Me State’. Tonight, we have a big announcement. On Saturday night, October 20, we present ‘St. Louis Star Wars’. Bell time is 8:00 PM at, the home of the Blues, the St. Louis Arena. In the coming weeks, we will talk more about the card. We can announce that the Missouri State Title will be on the line that night. Whoever wins tonight, will have his hands full in October. Stay tuned for more information.”

Ray Candy w/Gary Hart vs. Brian Adias
The powerful Candy is undefeated since arriving in ACW. Adias is a very skilled wrestler. This will be a good match. Brian starts fast. He uses his quickness. To confuse Candy. Hart shouts instructions from ringside. Things begin to go the big man’s way. He uses a powerslam for the win.
Winner-Ray Candy
Ralph Pulley is with Boris Zhukov and General Skandor Akbar.
Pulley, “With me are General Akbar and Boris Zhukov. General Akbar, your man has a chance to win the Missouri State Title. It is one of the most prestigious titles in the sport.”
Akbar, “Listen to me, you American punk, Boris Zhukov will win the title, you can count on that! Missouri is the heart of America, and when a great Russian warrior wins this title, the embarrassment will be even more!”
Pulley, “Boris Zhukov could be the Missouri Champion in a few minutes. Let’s go to Mac Lowrance, and Hacksaw Duggan.”
Marc Lowrance is with Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
Lowrance, “I am with Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Hacksaw, you heard General Akbar. He thinks Zhukov will beat you, and he will use that to embarrass America.”
Duggan, “Akbar, Zhukov, you foreigners come here to America and try to tear us down! Not when Old Hacksaw’s here! I always stand up for America, and I’m going to do that tonight! I’ll win the title, for America, hoooooooo!”

Match #6
The Super Destroyers vs. The Fantastics
Akbar has stayed in the back to prepare for the main event. That is good news for the Fantastics. The action is fast paced. Both teams tag and out. The masked men trap Tommy Rogers in the corner. They work him over. Referee Bronko Lubich begins to count. The Super D’s Break at four, and the continue to punish Rogers. Tommy is in trouble, but he escapes. He tags in Bobby Fulton, and he cleans house. The match continues until all four men end up in the ring. In the confusion, Fulton rolls up SD #2, Lubich counts the fall! The Fantastics win!

Missouri State Championship
Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Boris Zhukov w/General Skandor Akbar
These two have gone at it hammer and tong. Tonight it is for one of the most prestigious titles in the sport. Akbar could be a deciding factor. The bell rings and the two big men lock up. The early moments are a feeling out process. Things begin to go the Russian’s way. He goes to illegal tactics and Duggan is in trouble. The Chase crowd gets behind Duggan. The big man from New York begins to rally. The crowd is on their feet. Duggan whips Zhukov into the ropes and hits the spear. He covers Zhukov, and referee David Manning counts 1...2...3! Jim Duggan is the Missouri State Champion! Manning hands the title to Duggan. Suddenly, Ernie Ladd walks up. He takes the House mic.
Ladd, “Listen Duggan, you talk about being a football player, well I was an all pro, not a scrub like you! Now you got that title. Well, I’m a better wrestler than you! Wrestle me for that title!”
Duggan seems to agree.
Winner-Hacksaw Jim Duggan (New Missouri State Champion)
Marc Lowrance closes the show.
Lowrance, “Hacksaw is the Champion, and that makes the fans happy, but what about Ernie Ladd? ‘Wrestling at the Chase’ returns on September 23. We will have more information about ‘St. Louis Star Wars’, and I know we will hear from Ernie Ladd.”
