Bill Mercer opens the show.
Mercer, “Welcome to ‘American Championship Wrestling’! We are in the “Land of Opportunity’, and things are heating up. Today, the Hacksaw Man announces his ‘Mystery Partner’. We also have a hard hitting main event. The Von Erichs step into six man competition. They take on Gary Hart’s team of the Great Kabuki, One Man Gang, and Ray Candy. We know that Kerry Von Erich will put the title on the line against Gino Hernandez, the ‘Happy Halfbreed’ will be here as well. Let’s go to Ralph Pulley.”

Non-Title Match
“Gorgeous” Jimmy Garvin (Texas Champion) w/Sunshine vs. Buddy Moreno
Garvin has to defend the title against Chris Adams with Sunshine barred from the arena. Can he win by himself? Garvin is a fine wrestler, and he shows it. He takes over and dominates Moreno. Garvin wins with the brain buster.

“Gentleman” Chris Adams vs. The Magic Dragon
Adams will challenge Jimmy Garvin for the Texas Title. He hopes Sunshine’s absence will help him. He wrestles well. The Dragon uses his martial arts skills, but Adams is too much. He hits the superkick fir the win.

Iceman King Parsons vs. Ric McCord
The popular Iceman is one of the best in ACW. He starts fast fast. McCord is strong, and he tries to overpower Parsons, but he can’t. Iceman uses the butt bump for the win.

The Fantastics vs. Kelly Kiniski and El Diablo
The Fantastics are locked in a feud with the Fabulous Blondes. Bobby Fulton opens for his team, Kiniski for his. Fulton is very fast, but Kiniski matches h,I’m move for move. Rogers’s tags in and continues the attack. Diablo tries his hand and is no match for Tommy. He and Fulton use the Fantastic flip for the win.

Marc Lowrance is standing in front of a “Labor Day Star Wars” banner.
Lowrance, “Labor Day is approaching fast, and the eyes of the wrestling world are on New Orleans. ACW invades the Superdome for ‘Labor Day Star Wars’. The cars continues to take shape. We know this so far,
Kerry Von Erich defends the American Heavyweight Championship against Gino Hernandez.
Jimmy Garvin defends the Texas Title against Chris Adams. Sunshine has been barred from the arena.
Kevin Von Erich meets the Great Kabuki.
We knew the International Six Man Tag Team Championship is going to be decided. We now know who will wrestle fir the title. Paul Ellering’s ‘Legion of Doom’, the Road Warriors and the Barbarian, will meet the Japanese team of Giant Baba, Tiger Mask, and Super Tiger. This match will be the talk of the wrestling world.
Next, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, and his Mystery Partner, will take on General Skandor Akbar’s Russian Team of Boris Zhukov, and Alexis Smirnoff. Duggan will announce his partner later in the program.
Today we can add two more matches.
Ray Candy will take on Al Madril.
The Fantastics will battle the Fabulous Blondes.

Bob Marcus and Mike Reed vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan and a “Mystery Partner”
Marcus and Reed wait in the ring. Duggan comes to the ring and takes the mic from Ralph Pulley.
Duggan, “Akbar, Russians, America doesn’t back down, and neither does Old Hacksaw! I needed some help, I called and old friend, who loves America as much as I do, and here he is!”
Up the aisle comes…The Junkyard Dog! The Little Rock crowd explodes. JYD comes to the ring and embraces Hacksaw.
The bell rings and the two former Mid South fan favorites go to work. They work together very well, and their opponents have no chance. The Dog hits the big thump for the win. The Russians are in trouble.
Winners-Jim Duggan and the Junkyard Dog
Marc Lowrance is with the Von Erichs.
Lowrance, “With me are Von Erichs. Gentlemen, you meet three of Gary Hart’s men. That is a tough task.”
Kevin, “We know how good they are. Hart’s men are always good, and they’ll stop at nothing. Kerry, and Mike, are ready. Hart, we’re ready for you!”
Lowrance, “Kerry, you meet Gino Hernandez at the Superdome. Hart and his men may be out to injure you.”
Kerry, “Bring ‘em on! Like Kev said, we’re ready for anything!”
Match #6
Gino Hernandez w/Gary Hart vs. Johnny Mantell
Hernandez is one of the best in the business, and both he, and Hart, want the American Heavyweight Title. Mantell is very talented. The match goes back and forth. Mantell has his chances, but Gino is too much. He lands the falling elbow for the win.

Match #7
The Von Erich Brothers vs. The Great Kabuki, The One Man Gang, and Ray Candy
This would be a main event in any arena in the country. Referee David Manning will try to control the action. Kevin and Kabuki start the contest. They will meet at “Star Wars”. Both men are very aggressive, and the action is intense. Mike tags in, and Kabuki tags in OMG. Gang uses his size advantage to take over. Mike is in trouble. He escapes and tags in Kerry. He takes over, and now the Gang is in trouble. Kerry is in charge until Candy tags in. Ray pounds away on Kerry. All six men end up brawling in the ring. Manning tries to gain control, but he can’t he calls for the bell, and disqualifies both teams.
Result-Double Disqualification
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “What a show! ‘Labor Day Star Wars’ is going to be exciting! Join us next week for more action.”
