Bill Mercer opens the program.
Mercer, “Welcome to ‘American Championship Wrestling’! Labor Day is fast approaching as is ‘Labor Day Star Wars’. We will have more information later in the program. We have an exciting show for you today. American Heavyweight Champion Kerry Von Erich will be here. The Road Warriors and Paul Ellering will be here along with the Barbarian. We will talk with Ellering and his men. Our feature match will be Al Madril taking on the One Man Gang. Let’s go to Marc Lowrance.”
Match #1
The Super Destroyers w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Johnny and Davey Rich
The masked men meet the popular Rich cousins. Johnny and SD #1 open the contest. Akbar’s men are vicious. They dominate the men from Georgia. The masked tag in and out, and SD #2 uses a big boot to finish Davey.

Ray Candy w/Gary Hart vs. Billy Joe Travis
The massive Candy has been very impressive. Gary Hart only manages the best. Candy goes after the young Travis. Billy puts up a good fight, but he is no match for Candy. Ray hits a powerslam for the victory.

Kerry Von Erich (American Heavyweight Champion) vs. Buddy Moreno
The Champion will take on Gino Hernandez at the Superdome. This should be a clean, scientific, match. Moreno is very game, and gives a good accounting of himself. Kerry takes over and wins with the iron claw.

Boris Zhukov w/General Skandor Akbar and Alexis Smirnoff vs. Johnny Mantell
Zhukov and Smirnoff will meet Hacksaw Duggan and a “Mystery Partner” at “Star Wars”.the tough cowboy from Montague County starts fast. Zhukov is frustrated, and he takes to the floor and confers with Akbar and Smirnoff. He returns and takes over. He decks Mantell with. Big headbutt. He covers Johnny for the win. As Akbar and the Russians celebrate, Hacksaw Duggan comes to ringside. He grabs the house mic.
Duggan, “Akbar, Russians, listen up! I know you’re afraid of me, and my partner. I know you’re worried! Well, I’m gonna’ make you worry more. Next week, on TV, I’ll have my partner here! You might not even show up at the Superdome!
Duggan leaves the area, Akbar and his men look worried.
Winner-Boris Zhukov
Marc Lowrance is standing in front of a “Labor Day Star Wars” sign.
Lowrance, “Fans, September 3 is fast approaching. ACW will present ‘Labor Day Star Wars’ at the New Orleans Superdome. Bell time is 8:00 PM. Here’s what we know so far.
Kerry Von Erich will defend the American Heavyweight Title against Gino Hernandez.
‘Gorgeous’ Jimmy Garvin will defend the Texas Title against ‘Gentleman’ Chris Adams, and Sunshine has been barred from the arena,
We know that General Skandor Akbar’s Russian Team, Boris Zhukov and Alexis Smirnoff, will battle Hacksaw Jim Duggan and a Mystery partner. We found out earlier that Duggan’s partner will be here next week.
We have two more matches to add this week.
First, based on a TV match from two weeks ago, Kevin Von Erich will challenge the Great Kabuki. Kabuki spits his green mist into Kevin’s eyes, and the eldest Von Erich is out for revenge.
Finally, six man tag team action has always been popular in this area. On Labor Day Night , a new Title will be decided. The International Six Man Title is a very prestigious championship. A world-wide tournament is underway, and the two surviving teams will meet in New Orleans. We will announce those two teams next week.

Brian Adias vs. Kelly Kiniski
Two underrated wrestlers do battle. Kiniski wrestles an aggressive match and it Debra him well. Adias counters with mat wrestling and we have a close, fast paced, match. Both men score nearfalls. The end comes when Adias uses a sunset flip to get the three count.
Winner-Brian Adias
Marc Lowrance is with Paul Ellering, the Road Warriors, and the Barbarian.
Lowrance, “With me are Paul Ellering, the Road Warriors, and a newcomer to ACW, the Barbarian. Mr. Ellering, why is the Barbarian here?”
Ellering, “Marc Lowrance, you are very naive, aren’t you? The ‘Legion of Doom’ is a name that strikes fear in people’s hearts. The ‘Legion of Doom’ now consists of Animal, Hawk, and the Barbarian! If you are bright enough to count, you will see three monsters before you. What can you do with three monsters? I’ll tell you, you can win the International Six Man Tag Team Championship! We are flying to Tokyo, Japan to compete in a tournament, and we will will qualify for the finals! We will be at the Superdome, and we will win those title!”
Lowrance, “‘The Legion of Doom’ is a very impressive threesome, they very well could be the new champions. We need to keep an eye on them. Mr. Ellering’s team will be in the ring when we return”
Match #6
The Legion of Doom w/Paul Ellering vs. Ric McCord, Bob Marcus, and Mike Reed
Ellering’s men are monsters. They go to work like wrecking balls. The Road Warriors have been impressive, and the Barbarian just adds to it. They tag in, and out, and leave a path of destruction after them. The Barbarian uses a bear hug to finish off Reed. This team could very well win the six man title.

Match #7
Al Madril vs. The One Man Gang w/Gary Hart
The massive Gang bellows, and goes after Madril. The veteran from Los Angeles uses his quickness to frustrate OMG. Finally, he traps Madril in the corner. The Gang pounds away. Hart shouts instructions from ringside. Madril mounts a brief comeback, but OMG is too much. He hits the 747 splash for the win.
Winner-One Man Gang
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “Things are heating up in ACW. Next week, we will be in the great State of Arkansas. We will be at the Barton Coliseum in Little Rock. Hacksaw Duggan will unveil his mystery partner, and what a main event we have. The Von Erichs, Kerry, Kevin, and Mike, take on Gary Hart’s team, the Great Kabuki, One Man Gang, and Ray Candy! Don’t miss it!”
