Marc Lowrance opens the show.
Lowrance, “Welcome to ‘Wrestling at the Chase’! Welcome to all the fans on Sports Time. This is our premier edition. We have a great 90 minutes of wrestling action for you. You will see, American Heavyweight Champion Kerry Von Erich in action, as well as the American Tag Team Champions the Road Warriors. We will also begin our tournament for the Missouri Title. The Missouri Title was one of the most prestigious titles in wrestling. It was considered a ‘stepping stone’ to the World Title, ‘Wrestling at the Chase’ is bringing it back. You will see two semi-final matches in the tournament tonight, first Boris Zhukov meets Brian Adias, then ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan will meet the One Man Gang. The winners will meet, next month for the title. Let’s get things started with the American Heavyweight Champion, take it away Ralph Pulley.”

Non-Title Match
Kerry Von Erich (American Heavyweight Champion) vs. Mike George
The American Heavyweight Champion comes to the ring. The St. Louis fans love Kerry. George is a very skilled wrestler. The match is a scientific contest. George holds his own, but Kerry wins with a discus punch.

Ernie “The Cat” Ladd vs. Buddy Moreno
The massive former NFL Star is an impressive athlete. Moreno is very game, and puts up a good fight. Ladd is too much. He uses a big boot fir the win.

Non-Title Match
The Road Warriors (American Tag Team Champions) w/Paul Ellering vs. “Bulldog” Bob Brown and Rufus R. Jones
The Champions meet two Midwest mainstays. Animal states with Brown. The “Bulldog” tries every underhanded tactic he knows. The huge Road Warrior fights off everything. Brown rakes Animal’s eyes, and tags in Jones. The popular “Freight Train” goes to work. He looks good fir a time, but the Warriors are too much. Hawk tags in a finishes Jones with a vicious clothesline.
Winners-The Road Warriors
Marc Lowrance is with, a new tag team, the Fabulous Blondes.
Lowrance, “With me are, Ken Timbs and Eric Embry, the Fabulous Blondes. Gentlemen, ACW has some of the best tag teams in wrestling. You are walking into a tough field of competitors.”
Timbs, “Really, Lowrance, really? Look at Eric and myself. Were the best looking men in wrestling, and the best tag team. Nobody is stopping us, we’re headed to the top!”
Embry, “Ken’s right! Look at us, perfection! Look at all this farmers from Missouri. They’re lucky to see us. All these women are excited to be close to us, but I’ve got news for you, Ken and are are interested in human women, not cattle!”
Lowrance, “The Fabulous Blonds, polite and humble.”
Match #4
The Fabulous Blondes vs. Johnny Mantell and Bugsy McGraw
The flashy, and cocky, Blonds strut to the ring. Mantell and McGraw area rugged team. The match goes back and forth. The Blondes are very impressive. They tag in and out. McGraw tries his brawling tactics, but the Blondes are too much. They use a double dropkick to finish McGraw. ACW has another top tag team.

Kevin Von Erich vs. Kelly Kiniski
The eldest Von Erich steps into the ring with another second generation wrestler. Kiniski is a very good wrestler, and holds his own with Kevin. He holds his own for a time. Finally Kevin takes over and wins with the Von Erich iron claw.

We see highlights of the “Hacksaw” Duggan and Boris Zhukov. We see Alexis Smirnoff get invited loved at “Ted, White and Boom”.

Missouri State Title Semi-Final
Boris Zhukov w/General Skandor Akbar and Alexis Smirnoff vs. Brian Adias
The massive Zhukov has been very impressive. He pounds away at Adias. Brian is in early trouble. Akbar shouts encouragement from ringside. Things look very bad for Adias. Brian is able to rally. He fights back, and now Zhukov is in retreat. The tide turns again, and Zhukov takes over. He uses a headbutt to finish Adias. Zhukov is in the final.

Missouri State Title Semi-Final
“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan vs. The Great Kabuki
Kabuki is without Gary Hart. That is an advantage for Duggan. Kabuki spits the green mist in the air, and we are underway. Kabuki uses his martial arts skills to control the early moments. Kabuki chops and kicks. Duggan draws on the cheers of the fans, and he begins to rally. He throws good old fashioned American rights and lefts. Kabuki is stunned. Duggan hits the spear. He covers Kabuki and Referee Manning counts three! Duggan is in the finals.
Winner-Hacksaw Duggan
Skandor Akbar, Boris Zhukov, and Alexis Smirnoff come to ringside. Akbar takes the mic.
Akbar, “Duggan you big dummy, your day is coming! Boris Zhukov is going to be the Missouri Champion, and all these stupid Americans are going to cry and cry!”
Duggan takes the ring mic.
Duggan, “That's right these people are Americans, just like me! That makes all of us better than Russians, and next month, we’re going to prove it!”
Marc Lowrance closes the show.
Lowrance, “We are running out of time! Join us on Saturday night, August 18, Hacksaw Duggan meets Boris Zhukov for the Missouri State Title! Join us for ‘Wrestling at the Chase’!”
