Steve: “WELCOME ONE WELCOME ALL, live from the world famous Gilley’s Nightclub on the outskirts of Houston Texas THIS IS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING FROM HOUSTON, I’m Steve Stack and it is my honor to be joined by a man well known in Houston, Texas, Oklahoma and heck the world over, COWBOY BILL WATTS!
Bill: “Steve, I have word from the promoters that a BIG match is being negotiated for next week’s Championship Wrestling: not a match being booked in Nuevo Laredo . . .not San Angelo . . . not Shreveport, Louisiana: but right here next week at Gilley's on Championship Wrestling from Houston! Stay tuned!
Steve: “That sounds exciting Bill but what about THIS week? In the ring right here on Championship Wrestling, it’s DICK MURDOCH V RAY STEVENS FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE! Let’s go to the ring:

With that, BIG JOHN STUDD is in the RING RIGHT NOW! His manager Pretty Boy Larry Sharpe has the mike!
“I am holding in my hands $10,000 in cash, moolah, Benjamins for ANY man who can bodyslam this man, at 390 pounds and 6 foot 11 inches tall! Come on, who has what it takes?

After a few uncomfortable moments, Carson takes the mike a second time:
“Come on, come on now, SURELY, one of your weaklings in the back wants to earn 500 Jacksons for taking down this man, the Gigantic Big John Studd!!
WAIT! THERE IS ROAR FROM THE CROWD AS HERE COMES . . .

THE YOUNGSTER, SHANE DOUGLAS!
Shane comes down to the ring in a backwards baseball cap and a white towel around his neck, throws the towel into the audience and then lines up across Studd for the challenge.
Sharpe whispers a few last minute instructions into Studd’s ear, and the ref calls for action and SHANE fakes a few charges, this seems to get Studd to move his legs a bit, THEN SHANE CHARGES AT STUDD, AND GRS THE LEFT LEG, AND PICKS IT UP, AND STUDD STAGGERS BACK, BUT NOT ANYWHERE NEAR THE ROPES, AND puts his leg down, and Douglas lets go, then charges again this time he gets the LEFT LEG UP, Studd staggers a few steps back, but no body slam, LARRY SHARPE ENTERS THE RING, AND CALLS OFF DOUGLAS, WHO IS POISED FOR THE THIRD CHARGE!
Fans, Shane Douglas seemed to put Big John Studd on the backfoot, but was stopped, and Douglas gets the cheers of the fans, as Studd and Playboy leave the ring in a round of boos here at Gilley’s!

Dick: “Let me tell you Steve Stack that is one helluva fellow right there. A hard fighter, sometimes a dirty one, and frankly not someone I’ve seen eye to eye with but Ray Stevens is a great wrestler. And as for this Southwest title, Bob Sweetan, Buddy Roberts, whoever wins that match I imagine will be #1 contender and I am looking forward to the future where I will defend this, the UNDISPUTED World Heavyweight championship against either one of those individuals!
Steve: “Thank you Dick Murdoch and remember fans next week here on Championship Wrestling, the World tag Team Championship as Nikolai Volkoff and Baron Von Raschke take on JOSE LOTHARIO AND SAM HOUSTON! SO LONG!
