Marc Lowrance is in the ring. The Texas Title is on a stand.
Lowrance, “Welcome to the Bayfront Plaza. Tonight we will hold a tournament to name a Texas Champion. The winner will,hold this belt. We will open the night with four quarter final matches. Then two semi-finals, and finally a Championship Match. Wrestlers will advance via pinball, submission, Disqualification, or count out. Double Disqualification, double count out, or time limit draws will eliminate both men. The quarter-Finals are scheduled for 30 minutes, the semi-finals 60 minutes, the final will be one fall to a finish. We will also have an exciting eight man tag team match. Now, let’s get things underway.

Quarter Final Match
“Gentleman” Chris Adams vs. The Great Kabuki w/“Playboy” Gary Hart
These two have gone at it hammer and tong. Kabuki chops and kicks, and Adams is in trouble. Hart looks very confident, but it doesn't last long. Adams is able to mount a comeback. He uses a superkick for the win.

King Kong Bundy w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Al Madril
The veteran from LA meets the massive man from New Jersey. Madril is smart. He hits and runs. Bundy is frustrated. Madril looks good, but Bundy is too much. His size takes over. He hits the avalanche for the win.

Iceman King Parsons vs. Rip Oliver
“The Crippler” is a dangerous wrestler. The popular Iceman has his hands full. Oliver starts fast. He uses every illegal trick in the book. Iceman is slowed, but not enough. He uses the butt bump to advance.

Quarter Final Match
Jimmy Garvin w/Sunshine vs. Johnny Mantell
Garvin struts around the ring, and Sunshine dotes over him. The tough cowboy from Montague County is not impressed. Garvin may be a peacock, as Bill Mercer would say, but he can wrestle. Mantell puts up a fight, but Jimmy wins with the brain buster.

Semi-Final Match
Chris Adams vs. King Kong Bundy w/General Skandor Akbar
Adams gives up a lot of size, and Akbar is always a threat. The massive Bundy is in control early. He uses his size and weight to control the action. Akbar shouts instructions from ringside. He works over Adams, and the “Gentleman” is in trouble. Adams begins to mount a comeback. Things begin to turn. Adams backs up the big man. He lands a superkick, and Bundy goes down. Chris makes the cover, and referee David Manning counts the fall! This could be considered an upset! Chris Adams moves to the final.

Semi Final Match
Iceman King Parsons vs. Jimmy Garvin w/Sunshine
“Gorgeous” Jimmy Garvin is as confident as can be. Iceman is ready for action. Parsons attacks. Garvin doesn't know what him. Parsons takes him down, and gets a two count. Garvin kicks out and rolls out of the ring. Sunshine comforts him. He returns to the ring, and begins to stall. He wants Parsons to be one frustrated. The match back and forth. Both men are near the ropes, and Garvin takes Parsons down. He rolls him up, and grabs the ropes. Referee Rick Hazard does not see this, and counts the fall. Garvin vs. Adams for the Texas Title!

Eight Man Tag Team Match
Kerry Von Erich, Kevin Von Erich, and the Kansas Jayhawks vs. The Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering and The Super Destroyers w/General Skandor Akbar
Bronko Lubich is your referee, God bless him. How can anyone control these eight men, plus the two managers. SD #2 and Jaggers open the contest. Both men are brawlers. And the don’t disappoint. The pace of the match is incredible. Road Warrior Hawk tags in, as does Mantel. Dutch uses his veteran skills to frustrate the big youngster. Kerry tags in, as does Animal. The fans have been waiting for this, a Von Erich vs. a Road Warrior. Animal goes right after Kerry. The “Modern Day Warrior” doesn't back down. Things continue to heat up. Finally, Kevin lands a flying body press on SD #1 for the pin! What a match!

Chris Adams vs. Jimmy Garvin w/Sunshine
The Corpus Christi crowdis solidly behind the “Gentleman”. This doesn’t phase “Gorgeous” Jimmy. Garvin stalls and agitates, and Adams is frustrated. Garvin goes to the underhanded tactics. Sunshine shouts instructions, and the arrogant Garvin thinks he has things wrapped up. Not yet. Adams begins to rally. He takes the fight to Jimmy, and now Garvin is in retreat. Adams goes for a sleep hold! Garvin is in trouble. He fights his way to the ropes, and referee David Manning calls for the bell.both men continue to exchange holds and counter holds. Garvin goes for a suplex. He goes for a cover. Sunshine reaches in, and holds Adams leg. Lubich counts the fall! Jimmy Garvin Is the Texas Champion! He and Sunshine celebrate, as Adams argues with Lubich.
