MATCH 1:
BLOCK A
Billy Robinson and the Great Yatsu vs. Super Tiger and Tiger Mask II
Super Tiger announced his retirement from the sport and renounced his Tiger Mask persona last summer, but has returned for the World’s Strongest Tag League to team with his protege. Super Tiger and Tiger Mask shake hands with Billy Robinson and the Great Yatsu before the bell, and the match starts very respectfully. However, a questionable knee to the midsection from Yatsu to Super Tiger brings Tiger Mask II into the ring to protest. When Tiger Mask II eventually gets the tag against Billy Robinson, he surprises an unsuspecting Yatsu on the apron by drilling him with a roaring elbow to the chin that knocks him off the apron!
However, that flash of temper gets the better of Tiger Mask II when he’s caught from behind by a lariat from Billy Robinson. Billy Robinson then takes Tiger Mask over with the backdrop driver for a two count and then applies a Boston Crab, until Super Tiger comes in and dropkicks him. All four in to brawl now, until the referee finally gets control. Yatsu goes for a belly-to-backdrop driver, but Tiger Mask II lands on his feet. Boot to the gut and Mask plants plants him with the Tiger Driver for the one… two… three! Super Tiger and Tiger Mask II get the four points!
WINNERS: SUPER TIGER AND TIGER MASK II

[GROUP A]
The Minnesota Wrecking Crew vs. Austin Idol and Tommy Rich
… [joined in progress] Rich is in serious trouble, having been isolated in the Andersons’ corner. Arn and Ole continue to make quick tags to work over his shoulder. Arn perches on the second rope, and then leaps off the second rope for a knee drop, but RIch rolls away. Rich dives into his corner and finally tags into Idol.
Austin Idol comes in with fists of fury on both Andersons. The Idol slams Arn in the center of the ring and goes to apply the Las Vegas Leglock, but Ole drills him with a clothesline as he spins round. Arn Anderson then pulls himself up and plants Idol with a DDT and makes the cover for the three count as Ole holds off rich. The Minnesota Wrecking Crew get four points
WINNERS: The Minnesota Wrecking Crew.
[End VTR]
Gordon Solie and Lou Thesz then sends us to another clip from block B.

BLOCK B
Footloose vs. Terry Gordy and Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams
… [joined in progress] Gordy and Williams are down in the football stance and go for the double tackle, but Toshiaki Kawada surprises them by jumping over top of them! Williams turns right into the jumping high kick from Kawada, while Fuyuki rolls back into the ring from the floor. Gordy is right there to stomp on him. Fuyuki fights off Gordy with a series of kicks to the mid-section.
Gordy goes out to the floor after a leg hook kick from Fuyuki. Dr. Death is back up and drills Kawada with a shoulder-block now and is pounding away. Fuyui kicks him in the back from behind. Kawada and Fuyuki now send Doc off the ropes and connect with the double lariat. Williams tries to immediately get back up, but he’s frazzled and walks right into Footloose’s signature double spinning heel kick! Kawada with the cover for the one… two… three! Footloose get four points in this very competitive match!
WINNERS: FOOTLOOSE

[BLOCK B]
The British Bulldogs vs. Giant Baba and Harley Race
A star-studded match here, although a clash of the weight-classes. You have current PWF Heavyweight Champion and former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Giant Baba teaming with seven-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race against the last-reigning WWF Junior Heavyweight Champion Dynamite Kid and former British Commonwealth Mid-Heavyweight Champion Davey Boy Smith. Smith and Dynamite are also cousins, which gives them a natural advantage when it comes to teamwork. However, they’re severely lacking in size against Baba and experience against both Baba and Race.
Race shows why he is seven-times a former world champion by preventing Kid from using his rapid-fire offensive early on, keeping him grounded. Harley focuses on the knees, first working over the right one for a few minutes and then isolating the left knee. However, Kid has tremendous fire and rights off Race. And Race is shocked when one of his trademark headbutts has little effect on the Kid, who responds with forearm to the chin that knocks him over. Kid tags out to Smith, who comes in with a dropkick that sends Race tagging out to Baba. Davey Boy has to immediately adjust his strategy as Baba steps into the ring because another dropkick has little effect, as does a dropkick.
Baba swats Davey Boy away, and sends him to the mat with a chop. Baba then pulls up Davey and traps him, with landing several headbutts in the corner. Davey Boy is in trouble here, as Baba hip-tosses him to the canvas. Smith pulls himself up, but is then met right with a big boot to the face and a big neckbreaker from Baba! Dynamite is in, but Race cuts him off with a clothesline. Baba tags out to Race, who then comes off the top with a diving headbutt to make the cover for the one… two… three! Four points to Giant Baba and Harley Race!
WINNERS: GIANT BABA AND HARLEY RACE
