Bill Mercer opens the show.
Mercer, “Welcome to ‘American Championship Wrestling’. The summer is heating up, and so is ACW. We have a double main event tonight. First, Chris Adams takes on the Great Kabuki. These two have met before, and nothing has been resolved. Then the ‘Hacksaw Man’ defends America against, the big man from Siberia, Boris Zhukov. Let’s go to Marc Lowrance, and our first match.”
Match #1
Bugsy McGraw vs. Dale Veasey
The popular Bugsy takes on the rugged Alaskan. Veasey is very aggressive, but brawling is right up McGraw’s alley. Veasey goes for.a cover, but Bugsy kicks out. McGraw lands a powerslam for the win.

Hillbilly Jim vs. King Kong Bundy w/General Skandor Akbar
The massive Bundy is a monster. The big Hillbilly is fearless. Something has to give jim is very Game, and goes right after Bundy. He has his moments, but Bundy is too much. He wins with the avalanche, and a five count.

Mike Von Erich vs. El Diablo
The youngest Von Erich takes on the masked man from Mexico. Diablo pulls out the dirty tricks. Mike fights them off and wins with a rollup.

Rip Oliver vs. Kelly Kiniski
The young Kiniski steps up on competition with the “Crippler”. Jesse mat wrestles, and frustrates Oliver. Kelly gets a quick two count. Oliver goes to even more roughhouse tactics. He uses a shoulder breaker for the win.
Winner-Rip Oliver
Marc Lowrance is with “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan.
Lowrance, “With me is ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan. Hacksaw, you have been fighting for America, and standing up to Boris Zhukov and Skandor Akbar. It’s a tall task.”
Duggan, “That’s right tough guy! Bit ol’ ‘Hacksaw’ ain’t gonna’ back down from no one! I know Dallas. I played football at SMU, and Texans love America, just like I do! We all stand up for America! Hooooooo!”
Lowrance, “Duggan vs. Zhukov Tonight!”
Match #5
The Guerrero Brothers vs. Brian Adias and Al Madril
This should be a close, fast paced match. The Guerrero’s still carry the “Alamo Busters” flag. Adias starts for his team, and is very sharp. He gets a quick two count on Hector. Both teams begin to tag in and out. Both teams score nearfalls. Finally, Chavo catches Madril with the Gori special. Referee Rick Hazzard counts the fall.
Winners-The Guerrero Brothers
Marc Lowrance is with Chris Adams.
Lowrance, “With me is the ‘Gentleman’ from Stratford on Avon, England, Chris Adams. Chris, you beat Kabuki to qualify for the tournament at Texas Stadium, but you can’t seem to shake him.”
Adams, “You’re right Marc. He’s an animal, and he just keeps coming. You have to keep an eye on Hart too. I came to Texas to make a name for myself, to do that I have to beat the best, and Kabuki is one of the best.”
Lowrance, “Chris Adams, not one to back down from anyone.”
Match #6
Boris Zhukov w/General Skandor Akbar vs. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan
This two big men have gone at it tooth and nail, and tonight will be no different. They lock up, and both men use their power. Duggan seems to get the better of things until Zhukov rakes his eyes, and that stops the Glens Falls, NY native. The man from Siberia goes to work. Akbar shouts encouragement from ringside. Duggan is in trouble, but the Ft. Worth crowd gets behind him. He rallies, and takes the fight to Zhukov. Duggan backs Zhukov into the corner. Akbar has grabbed a chair and climbed onto the ring apron. He smashes Duggan. Referee Bronko Lubich calls for the bell. He disqualifies Zhukov. Duggan is down as Zhukov and Akbar leave the ring area. Duggan struggles to his feet. He is livid!
Winner-“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan (Disqualification)

The Great Kabuki w/“Playboy” Gary Hart vs. Chris Adams
Adams can’t seem to shake the man from “Boogie Street”. Kabuki shoots green mist into the air, and he is ready. Both men are skilled in the martial arts. Kabuki lands a crescent kick, and Adams is stunned. Kabuki lands thrusts and chops, and Chris is in real trouble. Kabuki goes for a thrust kick, but Adams ducks it. Chris lands a kick of his own, and the momentum shifts. Now Chris is in charge. He goes for a suplex. They are close to the ropes. Hart reaches in and grabs Adams’ ankle. He falls with Kabuki on top. Hart holds on to Chris’s leg. Referee David Manning does not see this, and counts the fall. Adams argues, but Manning will have none of it.
Winner-The Great Kabuki
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercy, “Gary Hart and Kabuki gain some revenge on the ‘Gentleman’. This is far from over. The action in ACW gets better every week. Along those lines, the American Heavyweight Champion, Kerry Von Erich, will be here next week. He will defend the title against Rip ‘The Crippler’ Oliver. Don’t miss it!”
