We all know Buddy Roberts, Bob Sweetan, Tully Blanchard, Dick Murdoch and Ray Stevens have entered the tournament; I now have two announcements:
“First, KENDO NAGASAKI has been entered as the sixth man. Second, two MAJOR INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTARS have also sent in their RSVPs and their names will be revealed LATER THIS HOUR!
Steve: “In addition to that who will wrestle Nikolai Volkoff and Baron Von Raschke for the World Tag Team Championships? We will find out today as Killer Brooks and Mark Lewin managed by Don Carson face Supersock Jose Lothario and Sam Houston RIGHT HERE AT GILLEY’S!

QUARTERFINAL MATCH
KILLER BROOKS + MARK LEWIN w/Don Carson v JOSE LOTHARIO + SAM HOUSTON
Brooks and Lewin quickly gain the advantage by double teaming Lothario, then taking advantage of a few of Houston’s enthusiastic rookie mistakes. The fans get behind the older Lothario and his young protégé’s however and Supersock lays the lumber on both heels, then tags out to Sam during a four man schmaaze and Young Sam dropkicks Lewin out of his boots, but misses on legal man Brooks as Brooks bounces off the ropes, Brooks flies off the other rope, and as Sam staggers up KABLAMMO! BROOKS with a clothesline on Houston, Brooks covers:

NO LOOK AT THIS LANKY SAM GOT HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES! BROOKS GETS UP AND CELEBRATES, THINKING he won but he didn’t and as the ref and Brooks argue, Sam manages to fling himself across the ring, Brooks, realizing his error tries to catch Sam but NO!

NO!!! MARK LEWIN MAKES THE SAVE BUT LOOK AT THIS:
SAM HOUSTON WITH AN ELBOW ON LEWIN OFF THE TOP ROPE, AND FANS WE HAVE A FOUR WAY BRAWL! Houston and Lewin topple out of the ring onto the floor and outside the more experienced Lewin batters Houston as in the ring, Lothario bodyslams Brooks, meanwhile Lewin proudly throws young Sam into the the ring, and thinking Brooks has the upper hand enters the ring: NO SUPERSOCK IS THERE, AND JOSE KNOCKS OUT LEWIN! Meanwhile, Brooks recovers, and SCHOOLBOYS LOTHARIO, 1---2--- LOTHARIO KICKS OUT as Houston crawls to his corner and has his hand out for the tag:
Brooks picks up Lothario, and throws him into the ropes: he ducks down as if to deliver a back body drop:
NO!!! LOTHARIO WITH A KNEE RIGHT TO BROOKS KISSER!! HE THEN TAGS TO HOUSTON, Brooks turns around: ANOTHER DROPKICK BY SAM, BROOKS STAGGERS BACK AND KNOCKS NOGGINS WITH A STAGGERING LEWIN, JUST GETTING BACK UP FROM THAT KO FROM LOTHARIO, BOTH LEWIN AND BROOKS GO DOWN AND SAM FLIES ACROSS THE RING WITH A DROP ON BROOKS:
