Bill Mercer and Fritz Von Erich are seated in the studio.
Mercer, “Welcome to ‘American Championship Wrestling”! With me is ACW President Fritz Von Erich. Fritz, we are one week away from the ‘David Von Erich Parade of Champions’. What a day it’s going to be.”
Fritz, “That's right Bill. We want to honor David, and we want to show the fans what ACW is all about.”
Mercer. “We are going to talk about the entire card later, but let’s touch on the American Heavyweight Championship tournament. We have the drawings for the semi-finals, Gino Hernandez will face Chris Adams, and Kerry Von Erich will meet Jimmy Garvin. The two winners will then meet for the Championship. That is quite a field of wrestlers.”
Fritz, “That’s four of the best in wrestling. I’m partial to Kerry, but any of the four could win the title.”
Mercer, “We will run down the entire card later in the program, and don’t miss out Main Event, Kerry, Kevin, and Mike Von Erich take on the Gino Hernandez, One Man Gang, and the Great Kabuki. Let’s go to Marc Lowrance.”
Match #1
“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan vs. Black Gordman
The popular “Hacksaw” has arrived in Texas. He has an issued a challenge to Boris Zhukov. Tonight he meets the veteran from Mexico. Duggan is a brawler, and he goes right after Gordman. The man from Mexico fights back, but Duggan is too much. He wins with a spear. “Hacksaw” grabs the mic from Marc Lowrance.
Duggan, “Zhukov, Akbar, get out here and accept my challenge! Get in the ring with a real American, tough guy!”
Akbar and Zhukov come out. Akbar grabs the house mic.
Akbar, “Listen Duggan, you big dummy! We tried to spare you, we tried to ignore you, but we can’t anymore! Zhukov will fight you at Texas Stadium, and beat you like the American dog you are!”

Match #2
The Guerrero Brothers vs. Hillbilly Jim and Chief Jules Strongbow
The Guerrero still carry their “Alamo Busters” flag. The big Hillbilly and Strongbow are a good team. The Guerrero’s use their speed and underhanded tactics. To control the action. Jim’s size gives him an edge, and he works over Hector. The match goes back and forth until Chavo hits a Gori special on Strongbow for the win.

Al Madril vs. Mike Reed
Madril is a solid veteran, and Reed a game youngster. Madril is very sharp, and control the action. Reed puts up a good fight, but Madril clamps on the Indian deathlock, and Reed submits.

Match #4
“Gorgeous” Jimmy Garvin w/Sunshine vs. Jesse Barr
Garvin has qualified for the American Heavyweight Title tournament. Barr is a very talented youngster. Jesse holds his own, and this frustrates Garvin. He goes to the floor and is consoled by Sunshine. He returns and goes after Barr. Jesse puts up a good fight, but Garvin wins with the brain buster.

Lowrance, “Fans, we are one week away from ‘David Von Erich Parade of Champions’. Bell time is 4:00 PM, at Texas Stadium. Here is what you will see.

In a match just added, ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan meets Boris Zhukov
In a six man tag team match, Kevin Von Erich, Iceman King Parsons and Mike Von Erich take on The One Man Gang, the Great Kabuki and the Magic Dragon
The Guerrero Brothers take on a new tag team, the Fantastics (Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers)
Bugsy McGraw vs. Rip Oliver
Jesse Barr vs. Kelly Kiniski

King Kong Bundy w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Johnny Mantell
Akbar puts the bodmouth on Mantell. The rugged cowboy from Montague County waits patiently. They lock up, and Johnny holds his own.bundy’s size is too much, and now he takes control. Bundy hits the avalanche and demands a five count.
Winner-King Kong Bundy
Marc Lowrance is with Kerry, Kevin, and Mike Von Erich.
Lowrance, “With me are the Von Erich Brothers. Gentlemen, first of all you have a big six man tag team match tonight. You take on Gary Hart’s team of the Gino Hernandez, One Man Gang, and the Great Kabuki. That is a tall order.”
Kevin, “A Von Erich has never backed down from a fight. Hart’s been around for a long time, and he’s sneaky, but his men are mran and tough. We know what we’re up against.”
Kerry, “Kev’s right, we want to beat the best.”
Lowrance, “Speaking of the best, Kerry, you are in the tournament fir the American Heavyweight Championship. The fans are on your side, but there are some good wrestlers in there with you.”
Kerry, “That’s right Marc. The best are right here in Texas, and the rest of the country is starting to see that.i know it won’t be easy, but I’m bringing that title home to the Von Erich family!”
Lowrance, “The Von Erichs in our main event tonight!”
Match #6
Rip Oliver vs. Brian Adias
Two evenly matched men do battle. The crowd is behind Adias, and he starts fast. Oliver goes to the illegal tactics, and mounts a comeback. Both men have their chances, but the time limit expires. Referee Rick Hazzard declares the match a draw.

Six Man Tag Team Match
The Von Erichs vs. Gino Hernandez, One Man Gang and the Great Kabuki w/“Playboy” Gary Hart
The Sportatorium crowd is on their feet. The Von Erichs come to the ring. Hart’s men are dangerous and they are ready. Bronko Lubich will try to referee this contest. The bell rings and we are underway. Kevin and One Man Gang lock up. The Gang uses uses his size to control the action. Kevin begins a comeback. And the crowd gets even louder. Gino comes in as does Mike. The rookie holds his own, and tags in Kerry. “The Modern Day Warrior” looks fantastic. Kabuki tags in, but he has no answer for Kerry. He lands a discus punch for the win.
Winners-The Von Erich Brothers
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “The Von Erichs are the team in Texas, and the entire country. They are the Stars! Fans, get out to Texas Stadium for the ‘David Von Erich Parade of Champions’, the action will be fantastic! Next week, we will feature a highlight show leading into Texas Stadium!”
