WEAVER: Yessir, Jim! “Nature Boy” Ric Flair defends his International Championship against the man he beat for it in the tournament final in Tokyo, the great Harley Race!
ROSS: That's not all, Johnny! One of the toughest men ever to lace up a pair of boots, big Blackjack Mulligan will be in action this week! We'll also see one of the most popular wrestlers in the world this week and he's especially loved here in Louisville, KY, Johnny...
WEAVER: That's right, Jim! One of my buddies, “Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant is in ALL PRO WRESTLING! I don't know anybody who can electrify a crowd like Jimmy can!
ROSS: Right now, our broadcast colleague David Crockett is in the dressing room!
CROCKETT: That's right, Jim! And lookit....I got two great young athletes with me and I know you fans love'em! Barry Windham & Mike Rotundo!
Guys, you're both top contenders for Ric Flair's International Title and he's defending it against Harley Race right here on TV! Are you gonna be scouting that match?
WINDHAM: Beyond the shadow of a doubt! Flair! Race! It really doesn't matter! No matter who comes out of the match as champion will have to deal with Mike or me! I promise all of the great All Pro Wrestling fans from Florida to Tennessee to Kentucky to the Carolinas to Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi...sooner or later, we'll be nationwide! I promise you fans that sooner or later, I'll win that belt for ya and I'll be a champion everybody can be proud of!
ROTUNDO: The last time I wrestled Ric Flair for the NWA World Title, we went 60 minutes and he couldn't beat me! When the bell rang, I had him in the airplane spin and I know he could feel that title slipping away, David! It really doesn't matter if it's Flair or Race, I'm gunning for that International Title!
CROCKETT: I know that there's something you're both excited about and I am, too! This man is here in ALL PRO WRESTLING! BLACKJACK MULLIGAN!!!
MULLIGAN: David Crockett, it's good to see you, old buddy! I saw last week's TV and I heard some people calling my name and sayin maybe Bobby Jack Mulligan has gone soft! Well, I might not use brass knuckles, bricks, sticks, or ball bats any more, but I can guarantee you that I'm just as mean and ornery as they come! I'm still 6 foot 9, I'm still over 300 pounds and I still have the claw hold! JJ Dillon, you polecat! I don't care how many goons you've bought! You're lookin at the Family right here, Dillon! My number one son Barry and a kid I've pretty much adopted in Mike Rotundo! Yeah, I'll admit that Brody and Hansen are mean as rattlesnakes and tough as nails, but they're back jumpin, claim jumpin, fly by night cat burglars! They'd jump their sweet old granny if you wave enough cash under their noses! Barry and Mike both deserve to be International Champion, but Slick Ric, don't forget about me, old son! I've known you since you were a rookie! We rode up the roads together for years and ran things in the Carolinas! I know you like the back of my hand, Ric! I taught you most of what you know! Barry, if I was you, I'd go down to ringside, have a seat, and take notes on every move he makes! Now, all of you people watchin on TV: Git Momma from the kitchen and take the phone off the hook because I'm fixin to head to the ring!
CROCKETT: Awright! We're gonna see big Blackjack Mulligan in action! Back to Jim and Johnny!
ROSS: We'll see Blackjack Mulligan wrestle Rick Renslow when we return!
