Steve: “Fans it is our pleasure to announce a MAJOR event JUNE 3 at the Sam Houston Coliseum right here in Houston where not only will a NEW WORLD CHAMPION will be crowned, but also new WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! Bill, can you fill us in?
Bill: “I sure can Steve. June 3 will see the top 8 wrestlers in the world compete in a single elimination tournament to decide something that, despite what Federal Government claims, this sport has NEVER HAD. . . ONE UNDISPUTED WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. I said it last week, a negative will be turned into a positive.
“We have sent invites all around the world to all the top champions of past several years . . .and have invited them to Houston June 3 to lay it all on the line and lets decide once and for all, who is the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World? And Steve, with a clean slate thanks to Uncle Sam, what a better time than NOW to finally crown an UNDISPUTED World Heavyweight Champion, right here in Houston?
“But also that night: we will crown new WWU World Tag Team Champions. The finals of a tournament were started right here on TV last week and in just a few minutes, as a matter of fact, the second quarterfinal match will be held, with the finals to be held that night. AND, Steve ALL of the tag team tournament matches leading up that June 3 final will be held RIGHT HERE ON CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING FROM HOUSTON, right here at Gilley’s!
Steve: “WOW! Houston: THE NEW CAPITAL OF THE WRESTLING WORLD! And that’s right fans later in this hour, the first quarterfinal match of that World Tag team Tournament will be held later this hour, as mentioned before it will be Les Thornton and Houston’s own TIGER CONWAY JUNIOR versus Angelo Mosca and Rick McGraw.
“Now fans, last week we saw Killer Brooks and Mark Lewin, managed by Don Carson advance into the semifinals. Here are the final four tag teams who will wrestle each other for the World Tag team titles in this tournament: next week Ivan Putski and SD Jones will wrestle NIKOLAI VOLKOFF AND BARON VON RASHCKE . . . and in two weeks it will be CYCLONE NEGRO AND KENDO NAGASAKI versus an exciting newcomer, SAM HOUSTON and get this his tag team partner:

Steve and Bill are joined by Larry Sharpe and his tag team of NIKOLAI VOLKOFF AND BARON VON RASCHKE! Larry smokes a big cigar. Volkoff is as you would expect him wearing his bug furry hat an offensive Soviet flag; the Baron in his cape wearing an eye monocle.
Steve: “With an awesome tag team, here he is from New Jersey, the creator of the world famous MONSTER FACTORY, Pretty Boy Larry Sharpe:
Larry: “Houston, the MONSTER FACTORY IS HERE IN TEXAS, and behold all you roughnecks, rednecks, and cowpokes: adjust the rabbit ears on your black and white television sets and uncross your eyes as you are looking at the most devastating combination to ever set foot in this wretched place, your NEXT World Tag team champions and future idols, Nikolai Volkoff and Baron Von Rashke!
