Bill Mercer opens the show.
Mercer, “Last week we saw the debut of ‘American Championship Wrestling’, and what a debut it was! We saw a great tag team, the Road Warriors in action.. We saw the Great Kabuki interfere in a match with Chris Adams, and Gino Hernandez. We will hear from Chris Adams today. We also have big news concerning the ‘‘Parade of Champions’. We can announce that the Road Warriors have qualified to wrestle for the American Tag Team Championship. They will meet the winner of tonight’s main event. The Guerrero Brothers meet, the Kansas Jayhawks, Dutch Mantel and Bobby Jaggers. We also have a qualifying match for the American Heavyweight Title, ‘Gorgeous’ Jimmy Garvin meets Brian Adias, and in a special treat, Kevin, and Kerry Von Erich will be in Tag Team action. Let’s go to the ring and see Gino Hernandez.”
Match #1
Gino Hernandez w/Gary Hart vs. Hillbilly Jim
Gino takes on the big hillbilly from Mudlick. Jim uses his strength to frustrate Hernandez. Hart shouts instructions to his man. Gino takes over and wins with an elbow drop.

Bugsy McGraw vs. El Diablo
The popular Bugsy meets the masked man from Mexico. The masked man tries to roughhouse with McGraw. Bugsy is ready for that. He uses a powerslam for the win.

The Super Destroyers w”General” /Skandor Akbar vs. Mike Reed and Dale Veasey
Akbar brings his masked tag team to the ring. They work together well. Veasey and Reed are game, but SD #1 hits the big boot on Reed for the win.

Match #4
Johnny Mantell vs. Black Gordman
The cowboy from Montague County meets the veteran from Mexico. This is a close match, and both men wrestle well. Mantell uses a bulldog for the win.

Marc Lowrance is with Chris Adams.
Lowrance, “With me is Chris Adams. Chris, last see what happened last week.”
We see the Great Kabuki interfere in the match between Adams and Gino Hernandez. Kabuki spits green mist into Adams’ eyes.
Lowrance, “Chris, that was terrible.”
Adams, “It was Marc, but that’s what you expect from Hart, and his men.”
Lowrance, “Well, you have a chance for revenge next week. You meet Kabuki, and the winner goes to Texas Stadium, and a shot at the American Heavyweight Championship.”
Adams, “I can’t wait! I want the American Heavyweight Title, and I want to go through Kabuki to get it! Hart, you listen to me! You can try anything you want, but I’m going to the Parade of Champions, and you can’t stop me!”
Lowrance, “Chris Adams meets the Great Kabuki next week!”
Match #5
Kevin and Kerry Von Erich vs. Rip Oliver and the Magic Dragon
The popular Von Erichs meet the unusual team of Dragon and Oliver. Rip starts with Kevin. Oliver uses his taped thumb to inflict damage to Kevin’s throat. Kevin is able to rally and tag in Kerry. He works over Oliver, and Rip tags in the Dragon. He tries his martial arts skills, Kerry is too much, and wins with the discus punch.
Winners-The Von Erich Brothers
Marc Lowrance is with Jimmy Garvin and Sunshine.
Lowrance, “With me are ‘Gorgeous’ Jimmy Garvin, and the lovely Sunshine. Mr. Garvin, everyone wants a shot at the American Heavyweight Title at the Parade of Champions. You have a chance to qualify, but you face tough competition, Brian Adias.”
Garvin, “Listen Palie, no one is ‘tough’ to ‘Gorgeous’ Jimmy! I am the best there is. Look at that Adias’s hair. Sunshine, I’d never go out in public with my hair looking like that!”
Sunshine, “No Jimmy.”
Lowrance, “Well, I don’t think anyone’s hair is going to determine the match.”
Garvin, “Listen Lowrance, no one is beating Jimmy Garvin!”
Lowrance, “Garvin vs. Adias, that match is coming up next.”
Match #6
Qualifying Match
“Gorgeous” Jimmy Garvin w/Sunshine vs. Brian Adias
This will be a good one. The early moments are fast paced, and both men look very sharp. Adias whips Garvin into the ropes and clamps on a sleephold! Garvin rights it, and Sunshine shouts encouragement. Jimmy reaches the ropes and referee David Manning calls for the break. The match continues as a hard hitting affair. Garvin covers Adias, and uses the ropes for leverage. Manning counts the fall! Brian argues, but Garvin is going to Texas Stadium.

Tag Team Qualifying Match
The Guerrero Brothers vs. The Kansas Jayhawks
The winners of this match meet the Road Warriors at the Parade of Champions, some reward. Chavo, and Hector Guerrero reveal a Mexican flag with the title “Alamo Busters” stitched on. That riles the Texas faithful. Dutch Mantel and “Hangman” Bobby Jaggers are a rugged team. Chavo and Dutch open the contest. The action is fast, and exciting. Mantel tags in Joggers. The veteran from Dunlop, KS goes to work. Chavo is in trouble. He tags in Hector. He fares no better. Jaggers hits the Hangman fir the win. The Kansas Jayhawks will face the Road Warriors for the American Tag Team Championship. Suddenly, the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering hit the ring. Both teams brawl, and wrestlers from the back break things up.
Winners-The Kansas Jayhawks
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “The Tag Team Title Match at Texas Stadium is going to be a brawl. We also know that Jimmy Garvin will be in the tournament for the American Heavyweight Championship. Let’s talk about next week. We have another qualifying match for the Parade of Champions, ‘Gentleman” Chris Adams takes on the Great Kabuki. Also Gary Hart will debut a new man, the One Man Gang.
