I was very pleased with the way the draft turned out, I was also shocked I was able to somehow complete my draft while sitting at a wine tasting event for my wife's work!
Thrilled with the top of the card guys who initially will carry the promotion: Piper, Roberts, Valentine and Magnum. Lots of different combinations can happen with those four. Goals for draft day 2 are getting opponents for the Rock N Roll Exress and a few more midcard heels.

I have a feeling some of the wrestlers I drafted may have second thoughts about coming up here, right now it's -10 degrees and snowing like crazy. Apparently winter's decided it's just never gonna end.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think we have the same Hogan hate as rhe Wrestling Classics crowd. Probably if I had based my promotion in any place, but TexS, I would have taken him first. As far as Lawler goes, I think it would be hard to write him any olace but Memphis, or at least a Memphis like territory.

Honestly if Tom or Grigs doesn't take Hogan tonight before my pick I probably will. I didn't want to last night because I had a solid idea of what I wanted to do, then I woke up this morning and figured out how to work Hogan into it and make it still be fun, so I figure I will give it a shot if he is there.........BROTHER!!!!!!!!

Hulk really doesn't fit with what I have planned. I'll probably be looking to add to my main heel group and build up my midcard.

Night II- I added more World Class names, but I am intrigued with Hacksaw. In 1984 he was a good brawler, and I think I can use him in a good way. It might be fun to see Skandor Ak-A-Bar take a 2x4 upside the head.

My strategy was Georgia people night one, Continental people night two. I basically got what I wanted.

I wanted to finish building my top heel group and got Dr. D and Konga for that. I might add a manager or a guy who can serve as a player/coach tomorrow night. I also added two pretty good tag teams in the Brisco Brothers and the PYT Express. I picked up Don Kernodle to act as Sgt. Slaughter's backup and Kruschev to complete the Russian team, one of my all time favorite heel groupings.. Blackjack Mulligan to play the "old gunslinger" role and to serve as a father figure to Barry Windham & Mike Rotundo(brother, that's creativity!) Got Terry Taylor to make up for not getting Magnum TA. Got Pez because he's solid and can work either way. Really happy with tonight's haul.

Honestly when I went to bed last I was planning to do something totally different tonight, but then I woke up today and after talking with Bart decided to grab Hogan and went after different pieces.
Besides the team of Orton and Slater I don't know if I will have any teams from real life. Right now it's looking like Steamboat & Dibiase will be a team, as will Buddy Landell & Curt Hennig. May need to find a partner for Jesse Ventura tomorrow night, we will have to see.
Not really sure what I am going to do with Lawler, but I think the challenge is worth it.

I like what everyone has done, and I always enjoy eryone’s shows. I am especially Looking forward to Kimmell’s group. He has great star power, and. Booked out of a major city like Chicago, he may well have the flagship territory.

I was pleased with round 2 of the draft. We picked Afa and Sika to come in as opponents for the Rock n Roll Express. Wild Samoans v. RR Express could be a solid program. On day one, we drafted Junkyard Dog, Tito Santana and Jimmy Snuka. Needed heel opponents for them and think we did well with Bad News Allen, Ron Bass and Adrian Adonis. Then came the run on tag teams. Drafted the Sheepherders who we can use as either crazy foreigners or a comic face team, then Doug Sommers and Playboy Buddy Rose. Needed a manager for all these bad guys so we brought in Classy Freddie Blassie who has experience in the LA area. Finally, part of what makes fantasy booking so fun is taking guys you saw in real life and trying to see if you can give them opportunities they didn't necessarily have in their careers. Scott Casey was one of my favorite wrestlers growing up. Got to meet him once at the Austin City Coliseum and he could not have been nicer. Likely going to team him with Al Perez, another guy who had a solid Texas run. Of course, those plans could change depending on who I land tonight.

Day III-My idea of the High Flyers was thwarted, but I like the idea of the Kansas Jayhawks better. I picked up some solid Texas mid-carders, Bugsy, Skip Young, Johnny Mantell, Magic Dragon, etc. The Guerreros as the “Alamo Busters” were a good heel tag team, I can put them to good use. I’ve always been a Rip Oliver fan, and I like a young John Nord. It looks like we all have good rosters, and I’m looking forward to everyone’s shows.
As I type this the Blue Jackets lead the Caps in the third, and we are on a two hour school delay due to flooding, so I can make it to the end of the game, probably.

Agreed, everyone did a great job. My goal was to create a tag team territory, and I came out of this with ten teams. I'm happy with that.

Unfortunately I had no power last night, due to an ice storm, so I didn't get to finish the draft, but I'm happy with how things turned out. I'm really intrigued with the rosters you guys have put together and can't wait for the shows to start!

Who, or what, is a Uwe Blab?!?! This takes me back! I was in Dallas at the time Blab was a Maverick. At best, he was ... okay as a player. He was tall, had long arms, grabbed a rebound every now and then, made a few baskets, blocked a few shots. Not a great player by any means but had a decent NBA career.
