The show opens with Terry Taylor introducing hometown hero KONNAN. Konnan puts over how great it is be back in Miami, where it started for him, and how great it is to represent the AAA World Heavyweight title for all the Latino people, not only in Miami, but all around the world.

Al Snow with Miss Toni interrupts the interview. Al Snow says he does not want to wait for his upcoming Road to TripleMania Tour title matches to face Konnan, he wants to face him tonight in Miami, right here on Inferno, and has an open contract for a tag team match. Konnan accepts the challenge, but says he might not like who Al Snow selects as Konnan's tag team partner. Terry Taylor tells the fans the match is made, and we go to our first match.

REY MISTERIO JR. DRAWS PCICOSIS in a double count out when both men are unable to continue after Pcicosis does a flying double legdrop off the top turnbuckle onto Rey on the arena floor, sick spot, all after an already wild hot spot filled 8 minute match, both wrestlers were trying to steal the show with this one, ***1/2

1-900 come on this week----AAA has officially signed several wrestlers from bankrupt World Class and you have to and you have to call and pay to find out that the signed wrestlers are . . .when you call you find out much to your disappointment its The Fantastics (over the hill, though Tommy Rogers is still a solid performer), Ultimo Dragon (OK----that’s a huge signing) and prospects Devon Storm and D. Lo Brown.

Terry Taylor interviews Los Gringos Locos backstage, where it is revealed they will face El Hijo del Santo and Octagon for the AAA World tag team championship THIS WEEK LIVE ON INFERNO. Boy, this is one loaded TV show.

Eddie Guererro says that it is great to be in Miami, away from all the swimmers and illegal immigrants, and hanging out with Cuban and Colombian drug dealers instead. Love Machine says that tonight, here in Miami, he is going to lower El Hijo del Santo by making him an honorary Cuban, and Octagon into a Colombian, and that will make it even better when they beat them tonight to retain their belts.

ROCK N ROLL EXPRESS V UNIVERSO 2000 + MASCARO ANOS DOS MIL. I must be hallucinating, isn’t this the second time these two teams have faced off on TV in the past 3 weeks? At least it was not as bad as their pay per view match, with the Rock n Rolls going over, but Universo and Mascaro destroy Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson after the decision. El Hijo del Santo and Octagon make the save. You know where this is going.

Santo came to the ring carrying an American and Cuban flag, and Octagon a Mexican and Colombian flag to get the crowds approval.

Rick and Scott Steiner scouted the match, then left, setting up a Steiners-Gringos match at TripleMania.

Solid match, which saw Santo and Octagon win the titles back about 4 times except for Tirantes slow counts. When the heat got too much, Universo and Mascaro ran in and interfered, earning a DQ for the world tag team champions, who slithered out of the ring with the belts while Santo and Octagon brawled with Universo and Mascara. Good for what it was, no clean finish always hurts, ***

It is time for the go home match of the TV show, And Al Snow came out to Tina Turners’ “The Best” with Toni Adams, and then introduced his tag team partner:

KONNAN + BRIAN PILLMAN V AL SNOW w/Toni Adams + CIEN CARAS
Good TV match that hits all the storylines, Pillman kicks Al Snows ass, Al Snow gets to show off his moves, Cien Caras uses evil tactics to get over on Konnan, Konnan with lots of high power moves.

Finish sees Toni Adams hit Konnan over the head with her shoe, allowing Al Snow to pin Konnan, in his hometown, to set his title challenges on the road.

After the match while still taping Brian Pillman whispers in Konnans ear and after the TV goes dark, Konnan tells the Miami fans he wants Al Snow in a rematch, with Toni Adams handcuffed to Brian Pillman, when Inferno comes back April 16.

Chris Cruise announces all the stops are being pulled out tonight in Phoenix as the the fans are getting a pay per view level show for FREE.

This seems to make sense to blow off some of the Conflict matches on this TV show since there will only be 1-2 house shows with them coming up. The announced matches squeezed into one hour of programming will be the Steiners versus Titan Sports, Inc. . . . .Brian Pillman v Al Snow . . . .Los Gringos Locos versus Jushin Liger and 2 Cold Scorpio for the World tag team titles. . .and Konnan versus Cien Caras for the AAA World Heavyweight title.

1-900 line announces that next week several wrestlers will be cut from AAA. Who will survive, and who will be left out on the street? (My sources tell me Bobby Blaze, Glen Ruth, Chaz Worthington, The Hardy Boyz, David Taylor, Doug Gilbert, Bobby Duncum Jr and maybe even Johnny Smith might be getting the finger in the next week).

Terry Taylor interviews Brian Pillman. Highlights are shown of how Pillman lost his match with Snow at California Conflict. Brian Pillman says that tonight his goal is to cripple Al Snow so he can’t have a chance at winning the world heavyweight title from Konnan.

BRIAN PILLMAN V “FIVE STAR” AL SNOW w/Miss Toni
Strong match, Pillman dominates and even bloodies Snow, Miss Toni screams as Pillman punishes her man. Toni steps on the ring apron and scratches Pillmans eyes out, Pillman, blinded, grabs Toni, Snow goes to Sunday Pillman, Pillman ducks, Snow accidentally decks Toni. Pillman still cant see, and Snow and Pillman end up double pinning each other, heel ref Tirantes makes the three count, but awards Snow the match, Pillman, still blinded, flies into a rage, and throws Snow out of the ring. Good finish that establishes Snow as a contender for the world title against Konnan, but still puts heat on Pillman, ***

Feel sorry for whoever has to follow this match, all four men hit each spot lights out. 2 Cold and Liger dominate, but finish sees Love Machine try to piledrives Liger (an illegal move), but Scorpio makes the save, then tries to piledrive Machine, but Tirantes sees it and DQs 2 Cold. ****

KONNAN V CIEN CARAS
The AAA world tag team match ran into a commercial break, so all that was shown on TV were the ring introductions. After the show went dark, Universo and Mascaro interfered, but were fought back by Santo and Octagon, and Konnan won the match in 23:00.

KONNAN V CIEN CARAS
Konnan wins the first fall on a crucifix pin, Caras takes the second fall on a count out after both men tumble out of the ring, Konnan takes a head first fall, juices, and Caras returns first.

The TV goes to a break, and then returns for the final fall. Konnan is juiced, but juices Caras to make him look strong. It seems as if Konnan has the upper hand, with a three count, but of course, Universo and Mascara, Caras brothers come down, and ruin the fun, and Pepe Casas tells them to hit the bricks, but the delay allows Caras to kick out.

Konnan gets up to see what is wrong, but Caras stirs and throws Konnan into Casas, causing a dreaded ref bump, and Universo, Mascara Anos dos Mil, and Caras put the boots to Konnan as Tirantes comes to the ring, tries to wake up Pepe Casas, but cant, and takes over the match. As Santo, Octagon run in to the ringside area, Caras suplexes Konnan and covers him, Tirantes counts a quick three count, and Cien Caras STEALS THE AAA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE BACK FROM KONNAN AS SANTO AND OCTAGON BATTLE UNIVERSO AND MASCARA AS TV GOES BLACK!

TV opens with Chris Cruise bragging that the only “Chi-Town Rumble” that will be going on will be tonight, here on Inferno, as AAA INVADES CHICAGO! Chris tells the TV audience that tonight’s program will begin with KONNAN trying to regain the AAA HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE from Cien Caras, 2/3 falls, RIGHT HERE IN CHICAGO!!!!!

CIEN CARAS VERSUS KONNAN

Konnan wins the first fall, clean, in about 4 minutes after clotheslining Caras out of his shoes. Konnan tires to knock it out of the park early, but Universo 2000 and Mascara Anos Dos Mil run in, and Caras throws Konnan out of the ring, allowing his brothers to destroy Konnan and throw him into the ring as Caras argues with Tirantes, Caras with the sleazy pin to win the second fall as a break is called.

Back from the commercial, it’s tied at 1 fall apiece, and the match quickly turns into run-in central. Mascaro and Universo work the apron to distract Tirantes every time Konnan makes the cover. Finally, El Hijo del Santo and Octagon run down, and brawl with Universo and Mascara, and it appears Konnan has Caras in near fall after near fall, but Tirantes slow counts every time.

Outside the ring, Santo and Octagon are pummeling Los Dinamitas Hermosos, but Titan Sports, Inc, eager for revenge as per their promo last week, run down, and destroy Santo and Octagon. They brawl to the aisle, and this allows Caras brothers to interfere freely in the match, distracting Tirantes, and beating up Konnan when thrown to the ringside area.

In the ring aisle, the Rock n Roll Express save Santo and Octagon, then run to the ring, but its too late----Universo and Mascara have beaten up Konnan outside the ring, and thrown him inside, and Cien Caras sloppily covers then hooks the leg of a helpless Konnan 1-2-3 to retain the AAA World title.

This weeks sleazy Chris Cruise 1-800 come on is Chris Cruise promising the fans that at TripleMania, Konnan will finally get his revenge on Cien Caras, and only by calling will you learn how (hint- steel cage match)
