Ventura, “McMahon, you know I have my finger on the pulse of wrestling, but no one’s talking. I ain’t heard anything. It has to be big!”
McMahon, “I’m not surprised you don’t know anything.”
Ventura, “Watch it MacMahon!”
McMahon, “We’ll have to wait and find out. Let’s get things started..
Match #1
The Big Boss Man w/Slick vs. Dusty Wolfe
Wolfe is game, but he no match for the former prison guard. The Boss Man manhandles Wolfe. He wins with the sidewalk slam. He then handcuffs Wolfe to the ropes, and delivers “Hard Time”.
Winner-The Big Boss Man

Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake vs. Gino Carabello
“The Barber” struts around the ring with his sheers. Carabello starts fast. He is game, and uses several illegal tactics. Beefcake is too much. He rallies and uses the sleeper to put Gino out. Brutus pulls out his scissors and clips a few locks of hair.
Winner-Brutus Beefcake
“Mean” Gene Okerlund is seated at the “Main Event” Control Center.
Okerlund, “Fans, welcome to the ‘Main Event’ Control Center, of should I say, ‘Erin go bragh’! We are quickly approaching St. Patrick’s Day, and the ‘Main Event’. We will be at the Joyce Center on the campus of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. The program will be broadcast, live, on NBC, beginning at 8:00 PM. We know one match already. The vacant Intercontinental Title will be on the line, when former Champion ‘Ravishing’ Rick Rude takes on Billy Jack Haynes. That would big enough news, but there’s more! To ensure that Bobby ‘The Wea..I Mean Brain, Heenan will be handcuffed to Big John Studd! I think Mr. Heenan will be on his best behavior. We can announce one more match today. Akeem ‘The African Dream’ will meet… HULK HOGAN! There seems to be a lot going on with the Hulkster, with Sensational Sherri managing both he and Randy Savage. Let’s hear from the Hulkster!”
Hulk Hogan is standing with Miss Elizabeth.
Hogan, “You know something Slick, you throw that big Akeem at me, I’m ready! I’ve got the lovely Miss Elizabeth by my side! She’s all I need! Sherri, you just stay out of our way!”
Okerlund, “That’s interesting! It doesn’t’ look like Hulk Hogan, wants, or needs, Sensational Sherri! Stay tuned for more information!”

The Powers of Pain (WWF Tag Team Champions) w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Joe Mirto and Chris Carter
The Barbarian and the Warlord May be the most powerful tag team champions in WWF history. Warlord starts with Carter. This is a mismatch the Warlord hammers away. Carter is in trouble. The Barbarian tags in and continues the assault. Mirto tags in, but fares no better. The Barbarian finishes him with a diving headbutt.

Akeem w/Slick vs. Lanny Poffo
We now know Akeem will take on Hulk Hogan at the “Main Event”. The agile Poffo will be a good test. Lanny takes to the air, and Akeem is stunned. He rolls out of the ring and confers with Slick. The African Dream returns to the ring, and begins to attack. Now Poffo is in trouble. He puts up a good fight, but Akeem is too much. He uses the 747 splash for the win. Hogan better be ready for this.

Dustin Rhodes vs. The Red Demon
The younger Rhodes takes on the masked man. Dustin is young, and athletic. He goes to work. The Demon fights back with illegal tactics. Dustin picks up the pace. He hits a bulldog for the win.

We see the Snake Pit set. Jake “The Snake” Roberts walks out.
Roberts, “Welcome to the ‘Snake Pit’. We break a lot of news on here, and today’s not going to be any different. The Million Dollar Man claims to have a big a nouncemrt to make, and he had Andre the Giant with him.”
Ted DiBiase, Virgil, and Andre the Giant come out.
Roberts, “Alright DiBiase, you asked for this time. Don’t keep us waiting.”
DiBiase, “Listen Roberts, you peon, it’s my time, and you’ll listen to me! I brought Andre out here to remind everyone he’s ‘THE’ Giant in professional wrestling. Some people seemed to have forgotten that. I used my considerable wealth to sign a match for next week.”
Roberts, “Get to the point.”
DiBiase, “Shut up Roberts! Next week, on this program, Andre will challenge, the Macho Man for the WWF Title! And I guarantee you he will win!”
Roberts, “That’s pretty impressive, I have to give you that.”

Rick Rude w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Calypso Jim
Rude will try regain the Intercontinental Title at the “Main Event”. He goes right after Jim. The man from the Caribbean puts up a good fight, but Rude is too much. Hevhits the Rude awakening for the win.

The Bushwhackers vs. The Brooklyn Brawler and Barry Horowitz
The unpredictable men from New Zealand meet two rugged men. Butch and Horowitz start the contest. Horowitz tries to wrestle, but Butch wants to brawl. They go at it until the Brooklyn Brawler tags in. He and Butch go at it. Luke comes in and continues the action. The Bushwhackers use the battering ram for the win.
Winners-The Bushwhackers
Vince McMahon, and Jesse Ventura close the show.
McMahon, “What a show Jesse, but what about next week, Andre vs. the Macho Man!”
Ventura, “McMahon, that is a Pay per View Main Event! The Million Dollar Man has something up his sleeve. Macho Man needs Sherri’s help more than ever!”
McMahon, “I don’t think so. He needs Miss Elizabeth’s inspiration!”
Ventura, “Ha! What’s she gonna’ do?”
