MERCER: Welcome to World Class Championship Wrestling! This week, we'll see the outstanding team of Starfire & Scorpio in action! American Champion “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert will team up with former World Champion Terry Funk against the British combination of “Gentleman” Chris Adams & Steven Regal. We have a special mixed tag team match with Doug Gilbert teaming with Missy Hyatt against the Missing Link & Sunshine! Ron Garvin will team up with the Patriot against the Russian team of Nikolai Volkoff & Boris Zhukov. Sid Vicious will team up with big Blackjack Mulligan against Fabulous Blondes “Mr. Magnificent” Kevin Kelly & “Prime Time” Brian Lee! It's going to be an action packed hour! Right now, let's go down to the ring and Mark Lowrance!
Scorpio & Starfire vs. Sika & Superfly Tui: The high flying rookies take on a tough Polynesian team. It's not easy going, but Starfire pins Tui after a missile dropkick as this impressive team continues its unbeaten streak.
MERCER: At this time, we'll turn it over to the newest member of our World Class broadcast team, Doyle King!
King is standing by with Missy Hyatt and the Nightmares...
KING: Congratualtiona are in order! We have new American Tag Team Champions! They are Ken Wayne & Danny Davis, the Nightmares! How does it feel to be on top of World Class after being here for a short time?
MISSY: Eddie told everybody that the First Family would rule WCCW! Eddie is American Champions! It's only a matter of time before either Terry Funk or Dougie get that Texas Title! The World Champion can't avoid us forever! The First Family is number one, Doyle King!
KING: Thanks for that. Now, if I can asl the champs a question: You won the titles from Steve & Shaun Simpson and I know they'll be clamoring for a rematch...
MISSY: EWWWWWW! I hate the Simpsons! They come from Africa, the most uncivilized country in the world! They have that stringy, greasy hair! I'm so glad that Kenny and Danny beat'em up last week, aren't you?
KING: (obviously frustrated) Ken Wayne, let me ask you about some of the top contenders. Scorpio & Starfire have some incredibly athletic moves and I can say the same thing about Gary Hart's New Breed. How do the Nightmares stack up to these teams?
MISSY: What a stupid question! Those guys can't even hold a candle to Kenny and Danny! Where did they find such a lousy interviewer?
KING: Missy, since you seem determined to take over this interview, let me ask about your mixed tag team match this week...
MISSY: I don't wanna talk about that!

Eddie Gilbert & Terry Funk (w/ Missy Hyatt) vs. Chris Adams & Steven Regal: The Gentleman from England and his young protege give the First Family members all they want this week, but Regal's inexperience costs them the match as Funk takes advantage of a rookie mistake and follows up with the spinning toehold for the submission victory.

Ron Garvin & the Patriot vs. Boris Zhukov & Nikolai Volkoff (w/Skandor Akbar): With the partisan crowd chanting “USA”, Garvin & Patriot take it to the hated Soviets! It looks like the Russians are going down as Garvin flattens Volkoff with the big right hand! Then, Eddie Gilbert rushes down to ringside, grabs the Russian flag from Akbar, enters the ring and nails Garvin with the flagpole!Gilbert and the Russians beat the faces down and put the boots to them until Corporal Kirchner, Scorpio, & Starfire run in to save the day!

Doug Gilbert & Missy Hyatt vs. Missing Link & Sunshine: Lots of comedy and stalling here, but despite Eddie showing up at ringside and interfering, Link eventually poweslams and pins Doug to score the pin for his team!

Sid Vicious & Blackjack Mulligan vs. “Mr. Magnificent” Kevin Kelly & “Prime Time”Brian Lee (w/ Buddy Roberts): Sid gets some big time help in his feud with the Fabulous Blondes this week. From the get go, referee Bronko Lubich has difficulty keeping control of this one and, in the end, has to DQ both teams for excessive brawling! Sid and Blackjack manage to clear the ring and are standing tall as Bill Mercer urges us not ot miss next week's program which will feature Buzz Sawyer against Manny Fernandez in the Main Event!
