so far announced are the Annual Cow Palace Battle Royale . . . . . Greg Gagne v Dr D David Schultz taped fist match . . . JUST ADDED: MAGNUM SCOTT HALL V MAGNIFICENT MURACO!
-Commissioner Joel Watts announced that Chavo Guererro suffered severe injuries at the hands of Russian War Machine during their world title match 10/23 in Fresno and is in the hospital recuperating. He will not be able to perform Thanksgiving Night 11/23 in San Francisco.
Paul Jones and Amazing Malenko come out to celebrate but are informed by Watts that Russian War Machine WILL indeed defend the WWA World Heavyweight title that night: against the winner of the Annual Cow Palace Battle Royale, to be held on the same card!
Eric Bischoff announces later that dignitaries around the world have thrown their hat in the ring for a chance to win the WWA World title, and participants in the battle royale include FORMER NWA WORLD CHAMPION DORY FUNK JR, FORMER WWF WORLD CHAMPIONS BOB BACKLUND AND PEDRO MORALES, and FORMER WWA WORLD CHAMPION DOS CARAS AND also EXOTIC ADRIAN STREET! Backlund, Morales, Funk and Caras will also be in a tag team match and Adrian Street will see action as well 11/23 in San Francisco.
-The Guererros will get a tag team title shot v Russian War Machine and Amazing Malenko, but in the meantime will wrestle the Romero Boyz 11/23. Both teams talk up their match in various promos.
-Hercules Ayalas accepts Ted Arcidis demand for a STEEL CAGE MATCH 11/23. Arcidi explains in a promo that this is the only way he can beat Ayala, one on one, and without the interference of other members of Assassins brood. Ayala promises to cripple Ayala once and for all.
-Greg Gagne and Dr D David Schultz heat up their war of words prior to their taped fist match 11/23. Gagne points out how he wanted a piece of Shultz in Fresno, but he “ran away”. Schultz correctly points out he wanted no part of Paul Jones and Malenkos post match activities, but will be happy to plant Gagne with his taped fist 11/23 to shut him up, once and for all!
-Magnificent Muraco with 3 vignettes:
1. Muraco visits Death Valley and complains the weather in California is too hot and there’s not water.
2. Next weeks vignette is on a clearly unsurfable beach somewhere on the Pacific. Muraco claims this is a typical California beach with no waves and surfing in California sucks.
3. The final vignette sees Muracco visit a vineyard ion Napa valley, and spitting out various wines offered to him on a wine tasting trip.
