JOHNNY SMITH defeats FUJI YAMADA by pinfall with a missile dropkick from the top rope.
GENICHIRO TENRYU (w/ Mr. Fuji) beats BRAD RHEINGANS (w/ Bob Backlund). Last month here in Green Bay, Tenryu’s stablemate in the Holy Demon Army, Toshiaki Kawada, knocked Rheingans friend and tag team partner Mike Rotunda out cold with a cheapshot kick to the head after their match. Rheingans was looking for some payback against the Demon Army here, as he takes on Tenryu. However, things don’t go as planned for Rheingans, as he falls in defeat when Tenryu connects with an enzuigiri for the pinfall victory.
TIGER MASK II & WILD PEGASUS defeat DAVE FINLAY & OWEN HART when Tiger Mask pinned Hart with the Tiger Suplex ’85.
TERRY TAYLOR defeats BLACK BART. Taylor gets the win against the rugged outlaw, hitting Bart with the flying forearm smash for the pinfall.
AWA World Tag Team champions THE BRITISH BULLDOGS: DAVEY BOY SMITH & DYNAMITE KID battle BRET HART & JIM NEIDHART (w/ Jimmy Hart) to a time limit DRAW at the 30-minute mark. The action is fast and furious for the entire 30 minutes, as these teams put on another classic match. Just before the bell sounds to signal the end of the match, Dynamite connects with a diving headbutt from the top rope onto Neidhart, but the time limit expires just as he covers Neidhart.
STAN HANSEN defeats SGT. SLAUGHTER. We get a good 20+ minutes of wild, hard-hitting action in this one, as Hansen and Slaughter battle tooth and nail. In the end, Hansen gets a hard-fought victory after connecting with the Lariat.
AWA World heavyweight champion STEVE “DR. DEATH” WILLIAMS beats “MR. WONDERFUL” PAUL ORNDORFF (w/ Jimmy Hart). Only Doc’s World title is on the line here. Williams gets the win around the 40-minute mark after dropping Orndorff with the Oklahoma Stampede for the pinfall victory.
