Match #1
WWF Tag Team Championship
The Von Erich Brothers (Champions) vs. The Powers of Pain w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan
Each time these teams have met we have had a wild brawl. Heenan’s team has come close to dethroning the Champions, but have come up just short. Kevin starts with the Barbarian. Kevin uses his quickness to stay away from the Barbarian’s power. Kevin gets a quick two count on a roll up, and Heenan yells about a quick count. The Warlord tags in, and goes to work on Kevin. The Texan is in trouble. He tags in Kerry, and the younger Von Erich tries to match strength with the monster. They match power moves, and finally both men end up on the floor. Heenan distracts Von Erich, and the Warlord beats referee Joey Marella’s count. The Powers of Pain win the match, but not the title.
Winners-The Powers of Pain (Count Out)
We see WWF President Jack Tunney seated at his desk.
