Ventura, “The Texicans are in for it tonight. I think we see a title change.”
McMahon, “You may be right, Heenan’s team is very good, but my money's on the Von Erichs. And speaking of tag teams, the ‘Million Dollar Man’ has a new team, the Beverly Brothers. Plus, a very popular man returns to the WWF, the ‘Birdman’ Koko B. Ware will be with us as well. We will see them in action later today. Let’s get things started.”
Match #1
Akeem w/Slick vs. Mario Mancini
Plays and the “Slickster” leads the “African Dream” to the ring. The massive Akeem has returned to the WWF, and not missed a beat. He goes right after Mancini. Mario is game, but he has no chance. Akeem uses the 747 splash for the win.

Match #2
The Red Demon vs. Koko B. Ware
“The Birdman” has returned to the WWF. He is still a dangerous wrestler. He works over the masked man. Koko is very aggressive. The masked man fights back, and we have a brawl on our hands. Ware has had enough. He takes over and wins with the ghostbuster.
Winner-Koko B. Ware
We see the “Snake Pit” set. Jake Roberts walks out.
Roberts, “This is the ‘Snake Pit’. I get to the bottom of things by asking the tough questions. My guests today come from Canada, it’s a great country, but I don’t know how proud they are of these guys, Frenchy Martin and his men.”
Frenchy Martin, Dino Bravo, and the Rougeau Brothers come out.
At Martin, “Watch your mouth Roberts!”
Roberts, “Alright, just be quiet, and we’ll get to the point. On Saturday night, September 30, ‘Saturday Night’s Main Event’ returns. Your men will be in action in a six man tag team match. They take on Strike Force, and Billy Jack Haynes. That's a tall order my man.”
Martin, “You have to be kidding! One stupid Mexican, one dumb American, and a traitor to Canada! Look at my three great Canadians! Who can stop, them, not those three Idiots! My men will be victorious, Canada will be victorious, Quebec will be victorious!”
Roberts, “ You’re pretty confident, I’m not sure you should be.”
Match #3
Lanny Poffo vs. Gino Carabello
“Leaping” Lanny remains very popular. He uses his athleticism, and high flying ability to control the action. Carabello puts up a good fight, but Lanny uses a standing moonsault for the win.

The Beverlys are big, strong and athletic. Beau opens with Carter. He overpowers the smaller Carter, and then tags in his brother Blake. He continues the assault. Carter is desperate, and he is able to tag in Jim. The man from the Caribbean goes at it hard, but the Beverlys are too much. They use the Shaker Heights spike for the win. DiBiase has a great team on his hands.

Kevin, “Gene, those two are big, and mean, but Kerry and I have fought the best, and we're still the Champions. We don’t care what they do, we don’t care what Heenan does, we’re keeping these titles!”
Kerry, “Like Kev said, these titles mean a lot to us, they mean a lot to our fans, we’re not giving them! Powers of Pain, Heenan, bring it on! We’re ready!”
Okerlund, “What a main event!”
Match #5

He traps Kevin in the corner, and hammers away. The crowd gets behind Kevin, and he fights his way out of the corner. We have a slugfest. Kevin now is in control. The Barbarian is in trouble, and he tags in the Warlord. He is even bigger than the Barbarian. Kevin tags in Kerry, and we have power vs. power. Both men exchange power moves, and the contest is dead even. Finally, all four men end up in the ring. Referee Joey Marella tries to gain control, but he can’t. He calls for the bell, and disqualifies both teams.
