McMahon, “Welcome to New Haven, CT! Jesse, Hulk Hogan is still in the wrestling business, no thanks to you!”
Ventura, “Listen, McMahon, I called it down the middle, and the ‘Chumpster’ lucked out!”
McMahon, “That’s your opinion Jesse! Randy Savage is still the WWF Champion, and it appears Roddy Piper has a severe knee injury.”
Ventura, “The rumor is, Piper is going to be out for some time.”
McMahon, “Let’s get things underway with a newcomer called ‘The Headbanger’!”
Match #1
“Headbanger” Jos LeDuc w/Frenchy Martin vs. Joe Mirto
The massive LeDuc, from the Northwest Territories, wears a leather butcher’s apron. He jumps Mirto before the bell. LeDuc is a monster. He pounds away, and stomps on the prone Mirto. Jos pulls his opponent to his feet, and begins landing headbutt after head butt. Mirto is out. Referee Tim White calls for the bell. LeDuc continues with the headbutts. White begins to count. He reaches five and calls for the bell again. He disqualifies the “Headbanger”. LeDuc, and Martin don’t seem to care. They have sent a message to the rest of the WWF!
Winner-Joe Mirto (Disqualification)
Match #2
Don Muraco vs. Chris Carter
Muraco lost to “The Snake” at SummerSlam. The loss was due to a mistake by Fuji. That has to make Muraco think. Muraco starts fast. He slams Carter’s head into the turnbuckle. Chris is stunned. Muraco continues the assault. Carter tries to make a comeback, but Muraco is too much. He hits the Hawai’ian hammer for the win.
Winner-Don Muraco
“Mean” Gene Okerlund is with the “All American” Ron Simmons.
Okerlund, “With me is the ‘All American’ Ron Simmons. Ron, you have arrived in the WWF with much fanfare. Many people predict great things for you.”
Simmons, “Gene, the WWF is the best, and has the stiffest competition in the World. I will step in the ring against anyone. At Florida State, we took on, and beat the best. Now I’m on my own, and I will wrestle anyone, anywhere. Let’s see who’s the best.”
Okerlund, “The eyes of the wrestling world are on Ron Simmons!”
Match #3
“The All American” Ron Simmons vs. Gino Carabello
Simmons is very impressive. He goes after Carabella, and Gino doesn’t know what hit him. Simmons use the same hard hitting style he used on the gridiron. He overpowers Carabello, and wins with a spear.
Winner-Ron Simmons
Match #4
Billy Jack Haynes vs. The Brooklyn Brawler
The rugged Brawler jumped Haynes before the bell. He pounds away and Billy is in trouble. Referee Earl Hebner backs up the Brawler, and Haynes gets to his feet. Now the powerhouse from Portland goes to work. Things continue to go Billy’s way. He locks on the full Nelson, and the Brawler submits.
Winner-Billy Jack Haynes
We see the “Snake Pit” set.
Jake Roberts walks out.
Roberts, “Welcome to the ‘Snake Pit’. SummerSlam is over. A lot of things happened, I won, as did Hulk Hogan, and Randy Savage did to. This next man had an interesting night. Let’s bring out Bobby Heenan.”
Heenan, and his family, Rick Rude, King Kong Bundy, and the Powers of Pain come out.
Roberts, “Heenan, you’ve put together an impressive group of goons. I suppose you think you’re going to take over the WWF.”
Heenan, “You just keep that snake away from me! Just look at what I’ve got, the One Man Gang, King Kong Bundy, the Powers of Pain, who destroyed the Von Erichs, and Rick Rude, who beat that stupid Ultimate Warrior at SummerSlam!”
Roberts, “But Rude didn’t win the title, and the Powers of Pain jumped the Von Erichs from behind.”
Heenan, “Roberts, that shows how dumb you really are! We are setting them up, we will destroy them! If you knew anything about wrestling, you’d see that!”
Roberts picks up Damien.
Heenan, “Ppppput that snake down! Leave us alone, let’s go!”
Heenan and the family leave the set.
Match #5
The. Bushwhackers vs. Mario Mancini and Terry Gibbs
The popular Bushwhackers hit the ring. Luke starts with Gibbs. Luke is very aggressive, and Gibbs is in trouble. The veteran Gibbs tries several illegal moves, but he can’t seem to make any leeway. He tags in Mancini, and Mario tries his hand. Luke tags in his cousin, and Butch goes to work. The men from New Zealand use the battering ram for the win.
Winners-The Bushwhackers
Match #6
The Powers of Pain w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. S.D. Jones and Calypso Jim
Heenan shocked the WWF with the acquisition of these monsters. The popular men from the Caribbean have their hands full. The Warlord starts with Jones. SD has been around, but can he escape the huge Warlord. Jones starts fast, but the Warlord traps him in the corner. He dishes out punishment, and tags in the Barbarian. He continues the attack. Jones escapes and tags in Calypso Jim. He tries to hit and run. The Barbarian he uses the diving headbutt for the win. Heenan’s team looks unbeatable.
Winners-The Powers of Pain
Vince McMahon, and Jesse Ventura close the show.
McMahon, “The Powers of Pain look like a threat the Von Erichs titles.”
Ventura, “I’d say more than a threat. They beat them down at SummerSlam, and I think those Texicans are afraid.”
McMahon, “I don’t think so Jesse. Join us next week on ‘Superstars’!”
