Romero Boyz continue to rouse the emotions of the fans with their heel antics as the fans don’t quite know what to make of the newest Guerrero, being slightly bigger than his brothers, and with a very non-Mexican looking blonde mullet.

The Romeros get more heat when Mark pins Scott Putski at 12:15 and refuses to release the pinhold until Jules and Jackie enter the ring, and make the Romeros and Motor City Madman back off. These fans clearly do not appreciate the Romero Boyz, their bandanas and LA Raiders ball caps, and their representation of the Latino community!

MIKE DAVIS V GREG GAGNE
20 MINUTE TIME LIMIT- REFEREE IS MARK NULTY

Both men shake hands, and at first it seems a clean match until Davis starts winning the crowd over with near pinfall after near pinfall on Gagne.

Gagne’s patience wears thin as the match progresses and he takes short cut after short cut, to the ire of the Olympic faithful. The finish sees Gagne grab a handful of tights for the ill gotten pinfall, then deny his crimes to the referee after 10:15 of action.

3. MAGNUM SCOTT HALL V “DR. D” DAVID SCHULTZ
30 minute time limit- Danny Davis, referee

Pretty rough match as the athletically gifted Hall matches skill and wits with the rough and tumble witty veteran Schultz. After 8 minutes of action Hall and Schultz thrill the fans with near fall after near fall! Hall hooks Schultz’ leg, the ref counts:

ITS PAUL JONES, WHAT BUSINESS DOES HE HAVE HERE! Clearly David Schultz did not invite him to ringside nevertheless Jones PUTS HALLS LEG ON THE ROPES, AND ALERTS THE REF! The ref stops the count, and then turns to ask Jones why he is at ringside, and Schultz joins the ref to argue with Jones, his own manager! Fans, Dr D NOT PLEASED with his manager interfering in his match!

Hall watches on when: RIGHT BEHIND YOU SCOTT! IT’S THE AMAZING MALENKO AND RUSSIAN WAR MACHINE! THEY GRAB HALL, DRAG HIM OUT OF THE RING, AND WAYLAY HIM AT RINGSIDE BUT HALL FIGHTS BACK AND BEATS MALENKO DOWN AND GOES TOE TO TOE WITH THE RUSSIAN GIANT AS THE FANS LOVE IT!

But it’s too much as War Machine and Malenko are still 2:1 v Hall, and as Malenko tries to hold the much bigger Hall in a full nelson, Russian War Machine lines up for THE BIG CLOTHESLINE!

Meanwhile, Schultz still remonstrating as to the the misdeeds of his own manager, turns around to see what is going on outside, steps out of the ropes, and JUST AS HE STEPS OUT THE ROPES, he lands riiiight between Malenko nelsoning Hall and War Machine:

The fans love Bugsy and Lazertron but all goes to naught when War Machine clotheslines Bugsy out of his shoes at 9:45 and scores a pinfall victory to go to the final!

Sharpe sand Khan are tough but the Guerreros outsmart their foes with an Eddie Guererro pinfall on Mike Sharpe at 6:50.

Khan and Assassin leave the ring immediately, leaving Sharpe to wonder where his allies are?

Either way the Guererro brothers are headed to the tag team final!

Imagine every lame strong man v strong man move you have ever seen in a match. The fingers locked test of strength, the off the ropes shoulder tackles then poses, Blah blah blah.

Not tonight. Both men clearly don’t like each other, and immediately begin brawling with absolutely no wrestling moves whatsoever, and they tumble out of the ring, and the brawl continues outside the ring, and both men continue to brawl and it takes both locker rooms to seperate the two! TOTALLY UNEXPECTED!!!!!

Not sure how many fans bought tickets to see any sort of test of strength, but they sure got a great fight as the referee is forced to count out both wrestlers at 1:56!!!!

Malenko matches up well with the Guerreros, but Russian War Machine is hard to take down because of his superior size and power. But 15 minutes in the fans get behind the Guerreros as they play Jack and the Beanstalk, knocking him down one limb by one, and even scoring near falls on them except Malenko runs into interfere every time!

A four way brawl breaks out with Jones throwing BRASS KNUX to Malenko, who clocks Eddie with them, and covers him, the ref does not see the foreign object and counts:

Really fun show. Im l nd of digging the Romero Boyz. Scott Hall with a big win, and I love the name of his finisher, incorporating a Hawaiian name as well as the actual finisher name. Very nnice touch. He comes across as the biggest star here by a mile with the way you've pumped him up.

And last bu not least, Jacie Guerrero. Beautiful.

Good show. You've made good choices for your Champions. Scott Hall is a rising star. I want to see where he goes from here.

Great feature of Hall. But, Jones and his relation to Schultz intrigues me, as well. Jones does, at least, have the tag titles. The Romeros can't be denied down the road, though. Wonder how Sharpe will re-act. Great stuff.
