McMahon, “Welcome to ‘Superstars’! We are a couple of weeks away from SummerSlam. We will hear from WWF President Jack Tunney. He will address the WWF Title situation. We will also talk about the referee for the big cage match, and will Jesse Ventura call on down the middle?”
Ventura, “Watch it McMahon, don’t push it!”
McMahon, “We also have a good feature match, the power of King Kong Bundy vs. the speed of Siva Afi. Let’s get things underway.”
Match #1
“Outlaw” Ron Bass vs. Joe Mirto
Bass brings “Miss Betsy” to the ring. He goes right after Mirto. Joe puts up a good fight, but Bass is too much. He wins with the Texas ghordbuster. Bass dishes out a few lashes with “Miss Betsy”.

The Von Erich Brothers (WWF Tag Team Champions) vs. Red Demon and the Avenger

Winners-The Von Erich Brothers
We see the “Snake Pit” set. Jake Roberts walks out.
Roberts, “Welcome to the ‘Snake Pit’. I have two guests today, one I have a lot of respect for, and one I have none, Don Muraco, and Mr. Fuji.”
Muraco, and Fuji come out.
Roberts, “Let’s get right to the point. Muraco, you are one of the true legends in wrestling. You’re a former Intercontinental Champion, you’ve wrestled the best, and beaten the best.”
Muraco, “That’s right!”
Roberts, “Then why are you hanging around this clown?”
Fuji is visibly upset.
Muraco, “Watch it Roberts, I might have to shut your mouth!”
Roberts, “Doesn’t Fuji have to do it for you?”
Muraco, “You’re going too far!”
Roberts, “Let’s not do it here, my man, leg’s go to Madison Square Garden, and SummerSlam, you and me, in the ring.”
Muraco and Fuji confer.
Fuji, “Alright Snake, we do it! We finish you!”
Roberts, “I’m ready for you Muraco.”
Match #3
Chris Carter vs. Yokozuna w/Mr. Fuji

Match #4
“Le Magnifique” Richard Charland w/Frenchy Martin vs. Hillbilly Jim

Winner-Richard Charland
Lord Alfred Hayes is at the SummerSlam control center.
Hayes, “Welcome to the SummerSlam control center, I am Lord Alfred Hayes. August 13 is fast approaching, and so is SummerSlam. New York’s Madison Square Garden will host the event, and it is available on Pay Per View. The action will be intense. Here is what we know.
The Von Erich Brothers will defend the WWF Tag Team Titles against the Japanese team of Jumbo Tsuruta, and Yoshiaki Yatsu.
We can add two matches to the card. The Ultimate Warrior will defend the Intercontinental Championship against ‘Ravishing’ Rick Rude. We can this match, based on what happened earlier in the show, Don Muraco will face Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts.we also have an earth shattering cage match, Hulk Hogan will face Andre the Giant. That would be big new in of itself, but there is more. Hulk Hogan has agreed to retire if he loses this match. That is a massive stipulation, but it’s not all, Jesse Ventura, a longtime foe of the Hulkster, will be the special referee. It looks like an uphill road for Hogan. Finally, we that Roddy Piper has challenged Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage for the WWF Title. And the Macho Man has agreed, but the WWF has not announced the match. President Jack Tunney has an announcement concerning the Title.”
We see Jack Tunney seated at a desk.
Tunney, “Hello, I am WWF President Jack Tunney. Many people are curious about Roddy Piper’s challenge. The WWF was ready to sign the match, but lawyers interviewed. Ted DiBiase is a very wealthy man with access to top legal minds. They filed injunction after injunction, but finally the WWF legal team was able to intervene, and the Savage-Piper match has been signed. Randy Savage will defend the WWF Title against Roddy Piper at SummerSlam.”
Hayes, “That is great news. The SummerSlam card is rounding into form. A limited number of tickets are still available, if you can not make it to Madison Square Garden, contact your Pay per View provider.”
Match #5

The massive Bundy has returned to the WWF, and looks as good as ever. Afi will have to use his speed. It works for a time. Afi hits and runs and Bundy is frustrated. He hits the Atlantic City avalanche. He demands five count, and referee Tim White counts five.
Winner-King Kong Bundy

McMahon, “Jesse, we are a couple of weeks from SummerSlam, I still don’t trust you.”
