Tenay, “Welcome to 'ACW Live!'. We are at the beautiful Maple Leaf Gardens, the home of such legends as Frank Mahovlich!”

Heenan, “Did you know Frank Mahovlich won the Masters seven times in a row? He was the greatest Canadian golfer of all time.”

Tenay, “Brain, Frank Mahovlich was a great hockey player, the greatest Maple Leaf of all time.”

Heenan, “Are you sure about that?”

Tenay, “Yes, Brain, I am. Let's talk about wrestling. We have a great main event tonight, Tenryu, from WAR, challenges Toshiaki Kawada for the 'Crown of the King'. Bob Backlund will enter the 'Pit', as he goes one on one with Roddy Piper. We learned last week, that the Ultimate Warrior will meet Sid Vicious to determine the 'Number One Contender' for the American Heavyweight Title. That match will take place on our special 'Stars and Stripes Forever' show on June 14. We will talk with, the American Heavyweight Champion, Stan Hansen tonight. Now we are going to the ring to see a man who returned to ACW for the 'Texas Shootout', and now is back with us full time. Dave 'Fit' Finlay is in the ring.”

Marshall, “With me is Stan Hansen. Mr. Hansen, you have two big, bad men chasing you.”

Hansen, “So what, I've got a fat wife and eight screaming kids at home, I'm more afraid of them than I am of Warrior and Sid!”

Marshall, “That's all well and good, but on June 14, Sid and the Warrior meet and the winner earns a title shot against you at 'Red, White and Boom III'.”

Hansen, “I won this title last July agaisnt Steve Williams, I've put it on the line all over the world. Those two are big, and powerful, but I'm not backing down! One of them will win, and I'll take care of him in Los Angeles! Stan Hansen intends to keep this title for a long, long time!”

Marshall, “It won't be easy, but how can you beat against Stan Hansen? Mr. Hansen, you are in action next, in a non-title match, against former WWF Superstar Hercules, he's big and powerful also.”

Piper, “Welcome to 'Piper's Pit'! ACW turned a corner last week, when I showed up. I grilled Larry Zbyszko last week, and this week, Bob Backlund steps into the pit!”

Backlund and the Warlord walk into the Pit.



Piper, “Bob Backlund, the leader of War. Backlund, I remember you from the WWF. You had bored everybody to death and then I showed up and the excitement started!”

Backlund, “Watch it Piper, I'll take you down.”

Piper, “Let's get this started. You showed up with WAR, and I'll give you credit, you took everybody by surprise, but now it doesn't look so good for you. You've lost two of your titles, and Sid Vicious turned his back on you. It looks like you're in trouble.”

Backlund, “Piper, you have a big mouth! We have suffered a minor setback, or two, but I have big plans for the summer! WAR will continue to dominate the wrestling world, and when we are finished, ACW will cease to exist! And Piper, you just may well join them!”

Piper, “Big words from a little man. Your group seems to be losing its momentum, and I think, by the end of the summer, you may be on the unemployment line!”

Backlund, “Piper, you're going too far! I may just turn the Warlord loose on you!”

Piper, “Oh Booby, don't get so excited, you have to be able to take the heat from RP.”

Backlund, “I've had enough of this, I'm going to the ring and show the world what the Great Muta can do!”

Piper, “Booby Backlund just can't quite stand what RP brings!”

DeBeers, “I am Col. DeBeers, the leader of the Truth Commission! We have brought the South African way to professional wrestling! Here in this disgusting third world country, I see all of you pathetic Canadians sitting in the crowd, and I loathe you! Your country follows the United States orders like pathetic sheep. Soon the Truth Commission will make your crumble under our heel!”

The Truth Commission takes the fight to Powers and Maggs. This is no contest and Tank Powerslams Maggs for the win.

Sid Vicious is with Lee Marshall.

Marshall, “With me is Sid Vicious. Mr. Vicious, you turned your back on WAR and have made it very clear you don't work for ACW, you are on your own.”

Vicious, “That's right! I don't want to share anything with anyone else! I came to ACW because it was the best competition in the world. I didn't come here to be on a team. I want the American Heavyweight Title and I have to take care of that Halloween painted moron first!”

Marshall, “On June 14, ACW presents 'Stars and stripe Forever'. The main event that night will be Sid Vicious vs. the Ultimate Warrior. The winner of that match faces Stan Hansen, for the American Heavyweight Title, on 'Red, White and Boom III' on July 3. Sid, it could be the chance of a lifetime.”

Vicious, “Will be, get that right, Marshall! I'll destroy the Warrior and then take care of that senile old man and take this title!”

Marshall, “Sid appears ready for action. When we return, he will face 'Gentleman' Chris Adams.”

Match #7
Sid Vicious vs. “Gentleman” Chris Adams

Adams is sharp from the opening bell. He uses his quickness to frustrate Sid. Adams gets a two count with a quick rollup. Sid is getting angrier by the moment. He picks up the aggressiveness and Adams is in trouble. Sid overpowers him and wins with a Powerbomb.

Teany, “Brain, we have one more match and that is the 'Crown of the King' match. Tenryu challenges Kawada.”

Heenan, “It's going to be like Godzilla vs. Gorgon.”

Tenay, “O.K. Brain, thats very clever. WAR has had some bad days recently, but if they win the 'Crown of the King', that would go a long way to them rebounding.”

Heenan, “Look, we've beaten them a few times, but you have to remember how they go the drop on us from the beginning. They can do it again. If Tenyru wins tonight, they're back in the driver's seat.”

Tenay, “Brain, that's very good analysis.”

Heenan, “Of course, I'm the Brain.”

Tenay, “O.K. Brain, let's talk about June 14. Friday night, June 14, ACW presents a celebration of American on 'Flag Day'. We present 'Stars and Stripes Forever'. We will be live from the Wheeling Civic Center in beautiful Wheeling, WV. We will present 90 minutes of the best action in the business. We know that the Patriot will be in action. We no know his opponent will be Big Titan. So WAR has an opportunity to make an impact on that night. We will see an American Tag Team Title match. The Can-Am Express defends against the Truth Commission. That will be a titanic struggle. We also will have a special edition of Piper's Pit with American Heavyweight Champion, Stan Hansen as the special guest. And in the main event, the Ultimate Warrior meets Sid Vicious with the winner gaining a title shot against Mr. Hansen on 'Red, White and Boom III' on July 3 at Dodger Stadium. Brain, what a night!”

Heenan, “A Friday night in Wheeling , the moonshine will be flowing like water. I'm interested in the main event,. Sid is powerful, but so is the Warrior. My money is on Sid, but that could change.”

Tenay, “Brain, you'll change your story ten times by then.”

Crown of the King
Toshiaki Kawada (Champion) vs. Tenryu w/Bob Backlund and the Warlord

Both men stand in their corners awaiting the bell. Referee Jack Doane makes the signal and the match is in. Both men trade holds and counter holds. Things begin to move in Tenyru's favor and Backlund has a very pleased look on his face. Tenryu whips Kawada into the corner and runs in with a knee to the mid-section. He tries to shoot the Champion across the ring, but Kawada reverses it and Tenryu slams into the turnbuckles. He staggers out and Kawada hits him with the Kawada Kick. Tenryu goes down and Kawada covers him. Doane counts the fall. Toshiaki Kawada has deafened the title! Before he knows what hits him, the Great Muta hits the ring and attacks Kawada. Tenyru and the Warlord help in the assault. Backund orchestrates the action. Tenryu and the Warlord hold Kawada and Muta hits the Shinning Wizard. Kawada is down and out.

Tenay, “Brain, even when WAR loses, they seem to get the last laugh. Kawada is injured and we don't know how badly.”

Heenan, “I told you, I told you. You can't turn your back on them.”

Tenay, “Welcome to Montreal! Brain, we are three days away from ‘Stars and Stripes Forever’. We have a lot to talk about tonight, and we have a huge main event that relates to Friday’s show.”

Heenan, “Tenay, the match between Sid and Warrior will be a knock down, drag out affair. The winner gets Stan Hansen and whoever it is, will be a big test for the big hick from Texas.”

Tenay, “That leads us to our main event tonight, Sid and the Warrior will wrestle each other on Friday, tonight they team together, and they meet Stan Hansen and Bradshaw. What a match!”

Heenan, “That’s four guys with a combined IQ of six, but they can fight.”

Tenay, “O.K. Let’s go to the ring for opening match.”

Col. DeBeers and the Truth Commission come out.



Piper, “Col. DeBeers and the Truth Commission, Col. you’ve got some big, dumb looking boys with you.”

DeBeers, “Watch it Piper!”

Piper, “O.K. Let’s move on. Your tag team looks good, but what about this big lummox back here?”

DeBeers, “Kurrgan the Interrogator is an unstoppable force. Tonight you will see him in action for the first time. I will be unleashing this force upon the wrestling world!”

Piper, “This should be interesting, Kurrgan in action.”

The giant Kurrgan stands stoically in the corner. The bell rings and both men lock up. Valentine tries all his veteran moves, but it’s no good. Kurrgan applies the Clawhold and Valentine is out.

Bob Backlund and the Warlord are with Lee Marshall.

Marshall, “With me is, the leader of WAR, Bob Backlund. Mr. Backlund, It still looks like WAR is on the decline. You’ve lost titles, Tenryu couldn’t take the Crown of the King from Kawada, and Muta had to jump him from behind.”

Backlund, “You saw Muta destroy Kawada! This is part of the WAR master plan. Muta will add the Crown of the King to the WAR trophy case! Kawada, you are on notice, Muta will destroy you!”

Marshall, “The wrestling world would love to see this matchup, Muta is a great talent and Kawada is one of the best, it would be a classic.”

Stan Hansen and Bradshaw are with Lee Marshall.

Marshall, “With me are Stan Hansen and Bradshaw. Gentlemen, Sid and the Warrior are very good, but can they get along?”

Bradshaw, “I don’t care! I show up every night to beat people up! I don’t care if they like each other, I just care if they’re in the ring! Sid, Warrior, get yourselves ready for a beating!”

Hansen, “Who cares if they get along! Like the kid says, we’re here to beat up people! I have to wrestle one of them in July, I don’t care which one, I’ll fight ‘em both! Wrestling an individual sport. I don’t particularly like Bradshaw, but we get along enough to wrestle together. Sid, Warrior, you need to worry about me, not each other!”

Marshall, “It should be noted that we offered interview time to Sid and the Warrior, but they refused. When we return, the big tag team will be in the ring.”

Match #8
Stan Hansen and Bradshaw vs. Sid Vicious and the Ultimate Warrior

Four big men pace back and forth. There is little, or no, communication between Sid and the Warrior. The bell rings and it’s Hansen vs. Warrior. They slug it out and neither man takes a step back. Bradshaw tags in and he continues the brawl. Warrior tags in Sid and the big man from Arkansas and Bradshaw battle in the center of the ring. Sid traps Bradshaw in the corner and he and the Warrior go to work on him. This brings Hansen into the ring and it’s a four way brawl. Referee Jack Doane escorts Hansen back to his corner. This allows the Warrior to trap Bradshaw in a Full Nelson. Sid bounces off the ropes and throws a forearm at Bradshaw. Bradshaw ducks and Sid hits Warrior. Both stop and stare at one another. Then they tear into each other. They land thunderous blows as Bradshaw and Hansen stand back and watch. Doane calls the match a no contest and the brawl continues. Security personnel come in and try to break up the two big men.
Result-No Contest

Tenay and Heenan are in the announce position.

Tenay, “Sid and the Warrior just couldn’t get along.”

Heenan, “Two big, dumb, guys, who are going to have a war on Friday.”

Tenay, “That’s true, and speaking of ‘WAR’, we have some news from Mr. Backlund. He will be in Wheeling, on Friday, with a challenge for Larry Zbyszko and ACW, and that challenge will take place in Piper’s Pit.”

Heenan, “Good, Piper will be a calming influence on the situation.”

Tenay, “Calming? You must be kidding. Let’s run down what’s going to happen on Friday. At 9:00. on ESPN 2, ACW presents ‘Stars and Stripes Forever’. June 14 is the day set aside to honor the American flag, and it’s going to be a night of action. Here’s what you will see, the Patriot takes on Big Titan, the Truth Commission challenges the Can-Am Express for the American Tag Team Titles, and in a ‘Number One Contenders Match;, Sid Vicious meets the Ultimate Warrior. The winner of this match will take on Stan Hansen, at ‘Red, White and Boom III;, on July 3, at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Now we also know that Bob Backlund has a challenge for President Larry Zbyszko and ACW and that challenge will take place on Piper’s Pit. What a night of action! Brain, your final comments.”

Heenan, “This is so exciting, I can’t wait to get to Wheeling, how about that?”

Tenay, “I think that says it all. Join us on Friday.”

Heenan, “Great for me, but, if Bill keeps taxing me, I’m going to move to Aruba.”

Tenay, “Bill?”

Heenan, “You know, they guy in the White House, the less manly of the two, not Hillary.”

Tenay, “O.K. let’s talk about tonight. We will see the Patriot in action. We have an American Tag Team Title match. We will see a Number One Contender’s Match for the American Heavyweight Title, and we have a special Piper’s Pit. Bob Backlund has a challenge for President Zbyszko.”

Heenan, “Backlund, Zbyszko and Piper, all together, we are going to see fireworks!”

Tenay, “Very possible Brain. Let’s go to Lee Marshall in the ring.”

Marshall is in the ring with Nikolai Volkoff and Boris Zhukov.

Marshall, “Let me introduce our first tag team, from Russia, the Bolsheviks, Boris Zhukov and Nikolai Volkoff. Mr., Volkoff would like you to stand and respect his singing of the Soviet National Anthem.”

Volkoff, “Soiuz nerushimyj respublik svobodnykh
Splotila naveki Velikaia Rus.
Da zdravstvuet sozdannyj volej narodov

Volkoff’s mike cuts off and we hear,

“"I pledge allegiance to the Flag...”

“Hacksaw” jim Duggan comes down the ramp carrying “Old Glory”. Behind him, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance is Sgt. Slaughter.”



Slaughter, “ of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and Sgt. Slaughter vs. The Bolsheviks

This is a brawl. The veteran Russian team tries all the dirty tricks in the book, but Slaughter catches Zhukov in the Cobra Clutch and the Russian is out.

The Patriot is with Lee Marshall.



Marshall, “Wow! Jim Duggan and Sgt. Slaughter, what a surprise!”

Patriot, “There is nothing more American than those two.”

Marshall, “A lot of people would say you should be in that category.”

Patriot, “I am honored to be included, but I’m thinking about Big Titan. I represent ACW and we are still battling it out with WAR. If I can beat him, we strike a blow against the enemy!”

Marshall, “We know Bob Backlund is up to something, maybe he will tip his hand in this match.”

Big Titan w/Bob Backlund and the Warlord vs. The Patriot

The Wheeling crowd is completly behind the Patriot. Big Titan jumps the masked man from behind. he pounds his head into the turnbuckle. The Patriot is in trouble. Titan begins to choke things look bad for the Patriot. Bob Backlund looks supremely confident. The Wheeling crowd gets behind their man and the Patriot rallies. He this the Missile Dropkick and referee Charles Robinson counts the fall. The Patriot wins!
Winner-The Patriot

The Can-Am Express are with Lee Marshall.

Marshall, “With me are the American Tag Team Champions, Doug Furnas and Dan Kroffat. Gentlemen, tonight you take on the Truth Commission. Col. DeBeers has put together a dangerous group and they are a threat to your titles.”

Furnas, “They are good, and DeBeers is as dishonest as they come. I get sick of his attitude and they way he puts down America, but you can’t take anything away from his men. The will be a test for us.”

Kroffat, “Doug’s right. They showed up and shook everyone up, the things DeBeers says makes people uncomfortable, and that makes you forget about how dangerous the Truth Commission is. We have to be one out game tonight.”

Marshall, “The Champions are ready, let’s go to Mike Tenay and Bobby Heenan. They are with the Truth Commission.”

Col. DeBeers and the Truth Commission are with Tenay and Heenan. There is a new member of the Truth Commission.

Tenay, “Col. DeBeers, there is a new man with you.”

DeBeers, “That’s pretty observant for an American. This is Sniper. He has come from the RSA to join our elite group. Our tag team now consists of three men and we can use any two on any given night. Again, I have outsmarted the stupid sub-humans in this wretched hemisphere!”

Heenan, “I’m with the Colonel, America is full of humanoids, and most of them live in West Virginia. It;s a pleasure to see men like these in ACW.”

DeBeers, “Bobby, you are a brilliant man. No wonder they call you the ‘Brain’.”

Tenay, “Which two will be in the ring tonight?”

DeBeers, “We don’t have to tell you that!”

Match #3
American Tag Team Championship
The Can-Am Express (Champions) vs. The Truth Commission w/Col. DeBeers and Kurrgan

It’s going to be Recon and the newly arrived Sniper in the ring. This means DeBeers, Kurrgan and Tank will be on the outside. The Can-Ams are outnumbered. Furnas and Kroffat talk with referee Chad Patton. It looks like they have come to an agreement. Furnas takes the mike.

Furnas, “Come on down!”

Wolf Hawkflied, Johnny Smith and Bobby Duncum Jr. come to ringside. DeBeers argues, but it appears that they will stay. The odds are more even.

The match begins and it’s a hard hitting affair. Both teams tag in and out. The Truth Commission trap Kroffat in the corner and he’s in trouble. Furnas tries to come in and help, but Patton cuts him off. This allows DeBeers and his men to get in even more shots. Finally, Kroffat escapes and tags in Furnas. The powerhouse from Tennessee cleans house. The Truth Commission confers with DeBeers on the floor. They return to the ring and the match continues. The match gets out of hand. All four men are in the ring. Tank and Kurrgan enter the ring followed by Hawkfield, Smith and Duncum. Patton calls for the bell, but no one is listening. It takes several security guards to break up things.
Result-Double Disqualification

We see the Piper’s Pit set. A table with three chairs is set up.Piper comes out.



Piper, “How ya doing? RP is here to break big news in ACW. Boob Backlund, the guy that bored WWF fans before I came along, says he has a challenge for Larry Zbyszko. Booby lost one already tonight, so he might not get what he wants tonight. Let’s not waste any more time, let’s bring out Backlund and Zbyszko.”

Backlund and Zbyszko come out. Zbyszko shakes Piper;s hand, but Backlund goes stright to the table.





Piper, “Here are the ‘Wise Men’. Let’s see what Bob Backlund has to say.”

Backlund, “Shut up Piper. No one came here to listen to your big mouth. They came here to listen to me. WAR has run roughshod over ACW and it’s time to ratchet up the odds.”

Piper, “Well, you seem to have a lot of recent losses.”

Backlund, “I’m talking to Zbyszko. Listen you Polish joke, it’s time for an end to this. I want to see WAR control wrestling and you want to see us gone.”

Zbyszko, “Yea, get to the point. You’ve talked too much.”

Backlund, “You’re not going to make me mad, and make me lose my cool. Here’s the challenge. You remember the ‘War Games’ match that the NWA used several years ago?”

Zbyszko, “Yea, two rings, covered by a cage, five on five until someone submits.”

Backlund, “That’s right. I challenge ACW to a ‘War Games’ match at ‘Red, White and Boom III’. If ACW wins, WAR leaves wrestling, but if WAR wins, ACW goes out of business and I run WAR in its place.”

Zbyszko, “WAR leaves for good if we win?”

Backlund, “That night will be our last night in ACW, if we lose.”

Zbyszko, “We pick five guys and you pick five guys.”

Backlund, “Right!”

Zbyszko hesitates.

Zbyszko, “You have a deal.”

Piper, “WOW! ‘War Game’ for control of ACW! That’s huge news!”

Backlund, “Piper, Zbyszko is the first one I fire, you are number two!”

The segment ends with a staredown between Backlund and Zbyszko.

Teany and Heenan are in the announce position.

Tenay, “Brain, WAR vs. ACW for control of wrestling, in a ‘War Games’ match. It’s all on the line at Dodger Stadium!”

Heenan, “When Backlund and I are in charge, don’t come to me looking for a job. I’ll ignore you.”

Tenay, “O.K. tonight;s not over. We have our number one contenders match next. The Ultimate Warrior takes on Sid Vicious. The winner meets Stan Hansen, for the American Heavyweight Title, at Dodger Stadium! Oh my!”

Number One Contenders Match
The Ultimate Warrior vs. Sid Vicious

Senior referee Jack Doane has the honor, or punishment, of refereeing this one. Both big men walk to center ring and stare holes through one another. The bell rings and the fight is on. the early moments consist of both men throwing haymakers. Neither man takes a step backwards. The match is dead even. The Warrior shoots Sid into the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Sid ducks. Sid come off the ropes and drops the Warrior with a shoulder tackle. Sid goes for the cover, but Warrior kicks out at two. Things begin to go Sid’s way. He pounds away at the man from Parts Unknown. Sid lands the Powerbomb and goes for the cover. Doane counts 1...2...3! Sid Vicious wins! He will meet Stan Hansen in Los Angeles!

Tenay and Heenan close the show.

Tenay, “Brain,.what a night! Sid is the Number One Contender, we have a ‘War Games’ match for all the marbles, ACW is white hot!

Heenan, “I hope you find a job at Mcdonald’s, or Burger King. Don’t come to me, I’m going to be working for WAR.”

Tenay, “We have a lot to talk about, in Houston, on Tuesday.”

Tenay, “Welcome to Houston, TX! What a night of action we have for you! Bob Backlund dropped a bombshell on Friday night. We will talk about that, and about ‘Red, White and Boom III’. Stan Hansen will be in ‘Piper’s Pit’ He will talk about Sid Vicious and the big match at Dodger Stadium. The Ultimate Warrior is on the comeback trail after his loss to Sid, and will be in action against the Terminator in our main event. Brain, the next few weeks are going to be the most important days in ACW’s history.”

Brain, “Let’s tell it like it is. These might be the last days of ACW. If WAR takes over, things are going to be different. I’ll still be here and I’ll put in a good word for you, but I can’t promise anything.”

Tenay, “Thanks a lot Brain. Let’s go to the ring and see Inspector Wippleman, he has a new man, or rather a man returning to ACW.”

Inspector Wippleman is in the ring with Gary Albright. He takes the mike from Lee Marshall.



Wippleman, “I came back a few weeks ago and I told you I want going to pick up where I left off. The Quebecers are going to regain the tag team titles in short order. Now let me reintroduce this man. Gary Albright is a former NCAA and AAU Champion. He was here before and he’s even better now. The Quebecers with the tag titles and Gary Albright with a singles title and Inspector Wippleman will be on top of the world!”

Marshall, “With me is Bob Backlund, the leader of WAR. Mr. Backlund, you dropped the big bombshell last week. You challenged ACW to a War Games match, the winner gets control of ACW. You are laying all the cards on the table.”

Backlund, ‘The time has come for the bell to toll! We have been here since January, and despite all the obstacles ACW has placed in our path, we still control the action, just not officially. Now it’s time for WAR to put ACW out to pasture and give the fans what they want, exciting wrestling action from WAR!”

Marshall, “Later in tonight's program, the rules will be announced. I am sure your lawyers have been busy.”

Backlund, “They have been overseeing the negotiations, but it does not matter, we are so strong that ACW has no chance.”

Marshall, “O.K. The Great Muta is in the ring when we return.”

Piper, “Howdy Houston! RP is in Texas! Things are heating up in Texas and ACW. I always ask the tough questions of the top wrestlers. Tonight I’m going to talk to the ‘man’ in ACW, the American Heavyweight Champion, Stan Hansen.”

Hansen walks out and goes eye to eye with Piper.



Piper, “Well, you’re a big old Texan. Let’s get right to the point, You fight Sid Vicious in Los Angeles, and he’s younger, bigger and stronger, I don’t think you can beat him.”

Hansen, “Big words from a man in a skirt!”

Piper, “Answer the question, can you beat Sid?”

Hansen, “I’ve been in the sport for a long time and I’ve wrestled all over the world, and against the best! Sid is very good and it’s going to be a long night for me, but I’m not giving up this title. You will have to kill me to take this title, I’ll lose every drop of blood in my body and I’m betting on myself!”

Piper, “Hasen, I give you credit. You came on here and you stood up to RP, that’s impressive. I don’t think you can beat Sid, but I know it’s going to be a great fight.”

The Black Hearts come to the ring wearing black robes and white masks. They enter the ring and remove the masks to reveal black masks. They kneel in the corner and place a bowl on the mat. Fire flares from it followed by smoke. The match begins and the Black Hearts attack. They work over the Battens and Apocalypse lands an elbow from the top ropes on Brad for the win.

Sid Vicious is with Lee Marshall.

Marshall, “With me is the man who has a chance on a lifetime at ‘Red, White and Boom III’, Sid, ou face Stan Hansen, with the American Heavyweight Title on the line. You heard Hasen in Piper’s Pit. He’s ready for you.”

Vicious, “I heard that old fossil out here. He thinks he’s tough because he broke Bruno Sammartino’s neck 50 years ago. It’s 1996, and Sid Vicious rules the world. It’s time for my generation to take ove. I’m bigger, stronger and tougher than that old cowboy. Hansen’s career ends in Los Angeles!”

Marshall, “Sid is ready, Hansen is ready, what a night it will be. Sid is in our main event, next.”

Sid Vicious vs. The Terminator

The Terminator is close to Sid size, this should be a great matchup. The Terminator is very sharp he he controls the early moments. Sid picks up the pace and overpowers the man with the facepaint. He uses the Powerbomb for the win.

For the Unified Tag Team Titles, Jado and Gedo defend against the hardcore Japanese team of Mitsuhiro ‘Mr. Danger’ Matsunaga and Dragon W*inger

For the American Tag Team Titles, the Can-Am Express defends against the Truth Commission,

For the Crown of the King, Toshiaki Kawada defends against the Great Muta,

and for the American Heavyweight Title, Stan Hansen defends against Sid Vicious.

What a show already. Brain, that;s a strong card.”

Heenan, “That’s a great lineup. You know, I’ve been a broadcast journalist for a few years now, but I still am the most brilliant manager in the game, maybe some of those guys would like some advice. All they have to do is grease my palm, I mean give me a small percentage.”

Tenay, “O.K. Brain, I’m sure someone will get in touch with you. Now let’s talk about the War Games match. Mr. Backlund, you made the challenge.”

Backlund, “I’ve said it for six months now, WAR is the future of wrestling and we’ve waited long enough. Larry Zbyszko and ACW have bored the fans for too long, it’s our time.”

Zbyszko, “Well Bob, you came in a we haven’t backed down, so I think you’re right. It is time to end this and we are ready.”

Tenay, “Let’s talk about the match itself. War Games was invented in the NWA in the middle 80’s. Two rings are set side by side and covered on all sides and on the top with a steel cage. Two teams of five men each compete. One man from each team begin the ring and fight it out for five minutes. A timer goes off and a coin is flipped. The winning team send in wrestler number two. Then every two minutes after that a coin is flipped again and one more wrestler is added. The match cannot end until all ten men are in the ring. Once ten men are in the ring, the only way the match can end is through submission, or surrender. When one man gives it up, the match is over. Here’s where we are. Both teams will pick their five man and will announce them, next week, on ‘ACW Live!’ Mr. Backlund and Mr. Zbyszko will serve as captains for the match. They will oversee the coin flip. The coin flip will be handled by this man.”

The Marine Hymn plays and Sgt. Slaughter walks out.



Backlund, “No, no, not Slaughter!”

Slaughter takes the mike.

Slaughter, “Are you questioning the integrity of a United States Marine. puke!”

Tenay, “Mr. Backlund, your lawyers agreed to this choice. Now, the door is key to this match. People must enter at the correct time and we need someone to oversee that. We have chosen the man who invented the ‘War Games’ match.”

We see Dusty Rhodes on the video screen.



Rhodes, “Dusty Rhodes, the ‘American Dream, will be in LA. I invented this match, and it is the way to settle scores, and the ‘Dream’ will be at the door!”

Zbyszko, “I like these choices, Slaughter and Rhodes will call it down the middle.”

Tenay,”We are almost out of time. Next week will be a huge night for us. We will be at the beautiful Walkup Skydome in Flagstaff, AZ. WAR and ACW will announce their teams for War Games!”

Tenay, “Welcome to Flagstaff, AZ! Brain, we are in the mountains and just a couple of weeks away from ‘Red, White and Boom III’. The big American Heavyweight Title match is set, Sid Vicious challenges Stan Hansen. We will see Sid in action tonight. However, the big news is the announcements of the two teams for ‘War Games’, ACW vs. WAR for control of the organizations. Who will represent us, who will Backlund pick?”

Heenan, “Tonight is even more important than the event. Zbyszko has to pick a team that can win. I don’t know if he can do that, I don’t trust him.”

Tenay, “Brain, I hope you’re wrong, Let’s talk about Sid for a moment. Will Zbyszko choose Sid for War Games, would Sid do it?”

Heenan, “I don’t think Sid would do it. He’s on his own and that’s the way it’s going to be.”

Tenay, “Again, I hope you’re wrong. I think Sid can help us. Let’s see him in the ring and maybe Lee Marshall can get a word with him.”

Lee Marshall approaches Sid.

Marshall, “Sid, will you represent ACW in War Games, what if President Zbyszko asks you?”

Sid stares at Marshall and leaves the ring.



Tenay, “Brain, we get nothing from Sid, we still don’t know.”

Heenan, “He’s not with us, I know it.”

“Gentleman” Chris Adams vs. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan

Two veterans put on great brawl. Adams tries to wrestle ,and Duggan brawls. The end comes when Duggan hits the spear and covers Adams for the win.

Bradshaw is with Lee Marshall.

Marshall, “With me is the American Television Champion Bradshaw. Mr. Bradshaw, you take on Mike Awesome at ‘Red, White and Boom III’, and you may well be chosen for the War Games match. It could be a big night for you.”

Bradshaw, “That’s right! Bradshaw is moving up in the wrestling world. I’ve held this TV Title for several weeks and I’ve beaten anyone who challenged me, and I’ll take care of Awesome at the Pay per View! I hope Zbyszko chooses me for the War Games match. That’s right down my alley! I’m moving to the top and I don’t care who’s in my way!”

Marshall, “Bradshaw is in the fast lane, and he would be a great choice for War Games. Now let’s see him take on Johnny Smith.”

American Television Championship
Bradshaw (Champion) vs. Johnny Smith

The powerhouse from Manchester, England takes the fight to the TV Champion. Bradshaw is backpedaling and doesn’t know what to do. He rolls out of the ring and regroups. He returns and takes the fight to Smith. The Champion uses his height advantage to good use and Smith is in trouble. Smith mounts a brief comeback, but Bradshaw hits the Clothesline for the win.

Tenay and Heenan are in the announce position.

Tenay, “Brain, we promised everyone that the teams for ‘War Games’ would be announced tonight. We felt there was no way that both teams could be announced together, That would be just too volatile. We will announce the WAR team now and the ACW team will be revealed later in the program. I really don’t want to do this, but here is Mr. Backlund.”

Backlund comes out on the ramp.

Backlund, “The days of ACW are numbered, their end is in sight. I have assembled a five man team that will destroy the peons that ACW will throw at us. WAR will complete the metamorphosis of wrestling, in Los ‘Angeles, on July 3. Now without further ado, the first man who will be on our side, the Warlord!”

The Warlord comes out on the ramp.

Backlund, “Our next destroyer is Masato Tanaka!:

Tanaka comes out to join the Warlord.

Backlund, “That would be enough for us to win, but we have more...Mike Awesome!”

Awesome joins the other two.

Backlund, “Number four, Tenryu!”

Tenryu comes out.

Backlund, “What a array of talent, but I have one more, the ‘clean up’ hitter, the Great Muta!”



Muta comes out.

Tenay, “Brain, that’s quite a lineup. Can we match it?”

Heenan, “No we can’t. I have to be honest. I don’t think we can beat them. ACW is in trouble.”

Tenay, “I hope you’re wrong, but I think you might have a point. Let’s get a little scouting report on WAR. Masato Tanaka and Mike Awesome will team up in our next match. After that, Larry Zbyszko will be in Piper’s Pit.”

Piper, “Hello Flagstaff! RP here. Let’s get right to it. My guest tonight is the most unpopular man in ACW. This man has five tough decisions to make tonight, but there is only one real question for Larry Zbyszko, will Sid be with ACW? Zbyszko, come out here and answer that question!”

Zbyszko comes out. Piper refuses to shake his hand.



Piper, “Answer the question! Will Sid fight with ACW in the War Games?”

Zbyszko, “Hold your horses Piper. I’ll get to your question. I’m putting together the best team ACW can muster. We have a lot of great wrestlers and we’ll have a great team.”

Piper, “Sid, what about Sid? Have you talked to him?”

Zbyszko, “Sid knows we want him, I’ve expressed that.”

Piper, “Have you talked to him?”

Zbyszko, “No! I sent word to him tonight. We want him, it’s up to him.”

Piper, “That’s what I thought! You didn’t even talk to him! Why not?”

Zbyszko, “He wouldn’t take my call, is that good enough for you?”

Piper, “You’re incompetent! Zbyszko, ACW is done, because of you?”

Zbsyzko, “Look Piper, we have great wrestlers. I’m going to make one more pitch for Sid, if he says ‘No’, we still have enough talent to beat WAR. I know that!”

Piper, “I think you’re a failure! ACW is done, because of you.”

Zbyszko gets up and leaves, as he is leaving he says, “Piper, you’ve got a big mouth!”

Piper, “ACW is in trouble!”

Wolf Hawkfield def. The Colorado Kid, w/Cyber Spear

Tenay and Heenan are in the announce position.

Tenay, “Brain, Roddy Piper let President Zbyszko have it. It looks like Sid refused to talk with the President. I’m afraid it looks like Sid will not be with us in the War Games match.”

Heenan, “I'll say it, we need Sid. Look at the five guys WAR chose. We might not be able to beat them with Sid, but I know we can’t beat them without him. Look, I don’t like Sid, he’s made it clear he’s in it for himself. That’s fine. That’s the way it should be, but we need him to beat WAR. We cannot win without him.”

Tenay, “Brain, a lot of people ridicule you, but I’m afraid you’re right about that. Let’s move on to our next match. We have two great tag team match. The Quebecers, with Inspector Wippleman, take on, Tribal Nation, the Youngblood Brothers, and then the Unified Tag Team Champions, Jado and Gedo, take on the Mexican team of Cien Caras and El Bronco. After those two match, ACW will reveal their five wrestlers for War Games.”

The Quebecers w/Inspector Wippleman vs. Tribal Nation

Wippleman leads his Canadien team into the ring. The popular Youngblood Brothers are next. The Arizona crowd are firmly behind the Southwesterners. The action is fast paced. Tribal Nation uses their speed to tag in and out. The match is close until the Quebecers trap Chris Youngblood in the corner. They work him over until Pierre hits Le Cannonball for the win.

Jado and Gedo (Unified Tag Team Champions) vs. Cien Caras and El Bronco

The colorful Mexican team is on fire early. They tag in and out and use their Lucha tactics to confuse the Japanese team. Jado and Gedo go to the roughhouse tactics to subdue their opponents. Gedo uses the Frog Splash to pin Bronco.

Tenay, “It’s time for ACW to reveal it’s five. Will Sid be one of the five. Let’s to President Zbyszko.”

Zbyszko comes out on the ramp.

Zbyszko, “Alright. Let’s get to this. Our first man is a former TV Champion, Wolf Hawkfield!”

Hawkfield comes out on the ramp.

Zbyszko, “Next is Dave Finlay.”

Finlay joins Hawkfield.

Zbyszko, “That’s two. Now let’s add the Ultimate Warrior!”

Warrior comes down the steps from the opposite side of the arena and runs up the ramp.

Zbyszko, “Next, the TV Champion, Bradshaw!”

The big Texan joins the other three.

Zbyszko, “We’ve got one more man, and I’ve left the best for last,,,the American Heavyweight Champion, Stan Hansen!”



Hansen comes out on the ramp, throws his hat and bullrope down and give the Longhorn Salute. We see Wolf Hawkfield, Dave Finlay, the Ultimate Warrior, Bradshaw and Stan Hansen standing together.

Tenay, “Brain, no Sid, but that is a great team!”

Heenan, “I’ll tell you this, we can’t beat WAR.”

Tenay, “I think you’re wrong, Brain. We are eight days away from ‘Red, White and Boom III;’ Next week, we will be in Los Angeles, at the Sports Arena, only 24 hours from the Pay per View. We have a great show scheduled for you. We will have a special guest, the doorkeeper, Dusty Rhodes! Brain, do you have anything to say?”

Heenan, “We can’t beat them.”
