Dave Brown and Lance Russell welcome us to another edition of Memphis Wrestling, live from the Channel 5 Studios. We’re back after a one week hiatus just in time for the big Independence Day card at The Big One in Memphis on Monday night. Eddie Marlin joins Lance and Dave to announce the tremendous card, including PPW Heavyweight Champion Curt Hennig defending against the ‘Golden Boy’ Adrian Adonis. Let’s take a look at the full card for this Monday night at The Big One
As we come back to the studio, Dave Brown and Lance Russell are joined by the ‘Exotic’ Adrian Street ahead of his big tag team match against PY Chu Hi and Tojo Yamamoto.
ADRIAN STREET: “I fancy myself a bit of a rogue, but even a man as tough as myself doesn’t have eyes in the back of my head. That little cretin Tojo and his jolly stick are trouble enough outside the ring. But Monday night, I get big fat Phil Hickerson and little Tojo in the ring. Oh yes, I do have a partner. The only partner I’ve ever needed. We’ll see you on Monday night. Just imagine what we will do to you!”
1) Adrian Street pinned Tony Falk at 10:11 when the Exotic One connected with a spinning neck-breaker on Falk.
Lance Russell and Dave Brown are joined by Austin Idol and Jeff Jarrett to preview their No Holds Barred bout against Kamala and Jeff Gaylord.
JEFF JARRETT: “I won’t make excuses Lance. Jeff Gaylord beat me right in the middle of the ring last team we met at the Big One. It doesn’t matter that I wasn’t 100%, I lost. But Gaylord, I’m 100% right now and I have the Universal Heartthrob on my side! You’re in trouble.”
AUSTIN IDOL: “Can you believe the audacity of Rooster Humperdink? He actually thinks that the fat slop Kamala can put the Idol down for the count. Not a million years, darlin’. This Monday night, there are no holds barred. You better believe that Minerva is coming with me, and she's beggin' to see action!”

Memphis Wrestling returns with Jamie Dundee joining Lance Russell and Dave Brown with none other than Mr. Olympia, who betrayed the Dirty White Boy at The Big One.
JAMIE DUNDEE: “Man, you never give me my credit, Russell! I pulled one over an all, ya’all. White Boy, not only did yer wife dump you, but so did your tag team partner. Now, if I was cleared to rassle - and I ain’t! - I’d whoop you myself but money talks. Ain’t that right, Olympia?"
MR. OLYMPIA: “That’s right, Jamie. White Boy, how big of a fool are you? You can’t even keep your old lady from runnin’ around on you with Bull Pain, do you really think you stand a chance against the Stud Stable. Come on down to The Big One this Monday night if you got enough guys, and I’ll put you outta your misery boy!”
2) Mr. Olympia, Bull Pain and Jimmy Golden (w/ Jamie Dundee) defeated Jerry Oske, Johnny Boyd and Keith Eric at 6:04 when Bull Pain pinned Keith Eric with a gordbuster.
Jamie Dundee is back over at the desk, now with the self-proclaimed ‘King of Wrestling’ Roy Lee Welch and ‘Superstar’ Bill Dundee.
JAMIE DUNDEE: “First of all, baby, I didn’t see ya’all bowing down for The King. Russell, you need go get down on your hands and knee and kiss THE KEEEEEEENG’s feet.”
LANCE RUSSELL: “Cut it out, Jamie. Billy, tell him to cut it out.”
BILL DUNDEE: “Lancer, the boy has a point! You need to show the proper respect and at least kiss The King’s ring. Come on, Lancer. I know you don’t want no trouble out here, do you?”
LANCE RUSSELL: “I talked to him this week, Billy. He’s not happy. Not at all.”
BILL DUNDEE: “Who? Gimme a break, Lancer.”
LANCE RUSSELL: “You know who, Billy. He says he’s going to buy a ticket for Monday night, and I don’t want have Roy show up in a crown if I were you!”
JAMIE DUNDEE: “Man, shut up! He ain’t comin’ on Monday or EVER. He’s too scared we’d punk him out. Now Russell, we gots to go prepare to win those Southeastern Tag Team Championships on Monday night but next time, you’re gonna kiss THE KEEENG’S feet.”
LANCE RUSSELL: “Jamie, I’m just telling you. I’d stop this if I were you, before you get hurt. He’s serious, Jamie. Serious as a heart attack!”

Sir Oliver Humperdink is standing by with Lance Russell and Dave Brown as we come back from commercial break to discuss two huge matches for his stable on Monday night.
SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK: “First of all, this moron Idol is carrying around a weapon! Why is that allowed? I might as well let Kamala bring his spear into the ring. It’s only fair! But I’m a sportsman, my men don’t need weapons. They can tear your heroes apart limb from limb with their bare hands. And that’s what will happen on Monday night. Not only will the Ugandan Giant and the Missouri Tiger batter and bloody Jeff Jarrett and Austin Idol, but then Jos LeDuc will take the Southeastern Heavyweight Title with ruthless force. In fact, I’ll show you exactly what’s in store for Tommy Rich."
3) ‘Big’ Jos LeDuc (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) defeated Curtis Hughes at 4:38 when he forced the rookie to submit to the full nelson.
There’s a nice ovation in the studio as The Dutchman himself Dirty Dutch Mantell makes his return to Memphis Wrestling ahead of Monday night’s Southeastern Tag Team Title tournament.
DUTCH MANTELL: “Well, hey there, Lance! Hey, there, Davey! It sure has been a while, hasn’t it? But you know whenever there’s a Memphis Wrestling, ol’ Dutch is gonna be in the mix. This Monday night, I get the chance to team with another tough Texan, Dory Funk Jr. Now, I’ve rassled Dory and I’ve teamed with him many times, and I sure like teamin' with him much more! I feel that we’re an unbeatable combination when that bell rings. With luck on our side, I’ll be standing here next week with a tag team belt over my shoulder!”

CURT HENNIG: “Memphis , Tennessee, are you ready for the wrestling exhibition of your life? The PPW Heavyweight Champion, Mr. Perfect, is coming to The Big One to show you just why I call myself perfect. Now don’t misunderstand me. My opponent, Adrian Adonis, is as tough as they come. He’s from the streets of New York, and whether he’s in leather or a feather boa, he’s a general in the ring. But for all of his skill, all of his experience, Adrian Adonis just isn’t perfect. I’m looking forward to a hell of a match, and then I’m looking forward to having my hand raised when the bell rings!”
4) Bill Dundee and ‘The King’ Roy Lee Welch (w/ Jamie Dundee) defeated Jon Paul and Lou Winston at 7:45 when Dundee came off the top rope with the Bomb’s Away splash on Winston for the pin.
Southeastern Heavyweight Champion ‘Wildfire’ Tommy Rich is joining Lance Russell and Dave Brown for our final few minutes to chat about his title defense against ‘Big’ Jos LeDuc.
TOMMY RICH: “I’ll tell ya what, Lance, you gotta bring momma and the babies from the kitchen because WIldfire got somethin’ to say. Joe LeDuc, you’re one big nasty fella. And you got that rooster in your corner! Somebody say somethin’ about stackin’ the deck? That’s just fine, man. Bring your worst, LeDuc, because I ain’t the most innocent guy in the ring neither. You got me boilin’ and you just might get burnt because Wildfire is ALLL FARRRRRRED UP!”
LANCE RUSSELL: “You don’t wanna miss this one, fans. We’ll see you on The Big One. Like I said earlier, you just never know who’s gonna show up! We’ll see you on Monday night.”
