“The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase w/Virgil vs. Joe Mirto
The former WWF Champion wants the title back, and will do anything to get it back. He works over Mirto. DiBiase is very sharp. He punishes Mirto and clamps on the Million Dollar dream. Mirto is out.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. The Red Demon
The mysterious “Snake” slithers into the ring. The masked man starts fast. He throwS right, and lefts. Roberts fires back, and we have a brawl. The Demon tries several illegal tactics, but Roberts is too much. He hits the DDT for the win.

Okerlund, “Fans, next Tuesday is the Fourth of July, Independence Day! The WWF will be in Philadelphia, at the Spectrum, 8:00 PM is bell time, right here on the USA Network! Here is what you will see.
In a ‘Captain’s Match’, Tom Zenk, of the Can-Am Connection, faces Jacques Rougeau of the Rougeau Brothers. Frenchy Martin, the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers manager, has made some overstates towards Martel joining his group. Rick appears to want no part of Frenchy.
The top tag team in Japan, Jumbo Tsuruta, and Yoshiaki Yatsu, meet the Young Stallions.
In a tag team match with America’s honor at stake, the Bolsheviks take on WWF Champion Randy Savage, and Roddy Piper. Can the ‘Macho Man’, and ‘Hot Rod’ coexist?
Finally, we know that, at SummerSlam, Hulk Hogan puts his career on the line in a steel cage match against Andre the Giant, the ‘Million Dollar Giant’, if you will! WWF President Jack Tunney will be in Philadelphia to announce who will referee this contest. Fans, don’t miss this huge show!”

David Sammartino vs. Don Muraco w/Mr. Fuji
The powerful man from Pittsburgh meets the veteran from Hawai’i. Sammartino uses his strength to control the early moments of the contest. He goes for a bodyslam, but Muraco blocks it. Now Muraco has the momentum. He works over Sammartino, and hits the Hawai’ian hammer for the win.

The Rockers vs. Mario Milano and Jerry Allen
The popular Rockers hit the ring. The fans, especially the ladies, love these two. Allen starts for his team. He tries to use his power against Jannetty. Marty responds with his speed. He takes over and tags in Michaels. Milano tags in, but he can’t stop the Rockers. They use the Rocker dropper for the win.

We see Hulk Hogan in an interview area.
Hogan, “July 4, America’s birthday! First of all the ‘Macho Man’, and ‘Hot Rod’, are going to take care of those sneaky Russians! Now, ‘!Multi-Million Dollar Man’, and Andre, you big stinky giant, you want me to retire if I lose the cage match, I said yes because I’m not going to lose, the Hulkamaniacs won’t let me! Jack Tunney, I don’t care who is the referee! I don’t even need a referee. I’m going to get the Giant up in launch position, send him into orbit, and then walk out of the cage, cause Andre, what cha’ gonna’ do when Hulkamania runs all over you?!”

The Orient Express w/Mr. Fuji vs. Chris Carter and Calypso Jim
Fuji’s new tag team has been very impressive. Kato starts with Jim. The masked man is aggressive, and he controls the action. Jim puts up a fight, but he is in trouble. He tags in Carter, and he tries his hand. Tanaka tags in, and goes to the martial arts. He lands a thrust kick for the win.

Dino Bravo w/Frenchy Martin vs. Hillbilly Jim
This match took place at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. The Canadian strongman is booed by the Toronto fans. Jim starts fast. The big man from Mudlick, KY takes the fight to Bravo. Frenchy Martin shouts instructions from ringside. Bravo tries to overpower the Hillbilly. Jim holds his own, and Bravo is frustrated. Martin takes a swipe at Jim, and this distracts the Hillbilly. Bravo attacks. Jim puts up a fight, but Bravo is too much. He wins with a side suplex.
