He will have more on the challenger for the WWA America’s title later in the hour, but says he needs to see more!
Ripper: “How long is this guy gonna jerk us around?
Joel: “A Commissioner who wants to make sure the cream of the crop challenge for the titles here in WWA. I respect it! Let’s go to the ring!

Jukes Strongbow is a crowd favorite here in California and takes Maya Singh through the paces. Joel remarks that both men want to impress El Topo and get that big shot against Chavo Guerrerro on July 8.
Maya Singh wants to impress more with a gut wrench suplex on Strongbow at 8:08 for the win!
Joel: “Fans, let’s check in the progress of MAGNUM SCOTT HALL!!

The theme from TV show Magnum P.I. plays once again and this time we see a fly over of a fishing boat. On the boat, MAGNUM SCOTT HALL is enjoying a party with bikini clad girls and fishermen, when a waiter comes up to him with a beer. Hall waves it off, and in the next cut, the waiter brings him a bottle of V8, which he chugs down! (Ok you can stop laughing now, and you know who you are.)
Cut to a fisherman who obviously has a large catch, but can’t reel it in! To the rescue: MAGNUM SCOTT HALL! He grabs the reel, it almost pulls him out of the boat, but he pulls it back and starts reeling!
The next shot is of Magnum Scott Hall posing for pictures with a big shark he caught, and a bikini clad girl grabbing each arm! The screen reads:

Gagne expresses praise and support for Chavo, while being occasionally needled by Ripper who says he thinks Maya Singh will beat him next week even asking is Gagne knows who Maya Singh is? Gagne breaks kayfabe and reveals Singh is Bob Roop, and runs down his resume and then his own and make a convincing case why he thinks he can beat him next week on Championship Wrestling.
In the ring Chavo takes a lot of abuse for the mighty Madman, but gets a submission with a Gory special as we close out the program!
