Tenay, “Happy New Year and welcome to Ft. Wayne, IN, one of the original ACW cities. Things are very confusing in the early days of 1996. Let's see what happened last night.”

Marshall, “Here comes the countdown!

Marshall, “WAR?”

The show ends with Marshall and Hansen looking confused.

Tenay, “Mr. Backlund, what does WAR mean?”

Backlund, “It's two countries fighting against one another and trying to access territory.”

Tenay, “Thank you, that helps a lot.”

Backlund, “I have no idea what it means. Look at what's happened, we've lost the tag team belts, someone has hijacked our message screen, Zbyszko has been in charge for a week and we're falling apart.”

Tenay, “We will talk with President Zbyszko later in the program. Maybe he has some news. Now let's talk about tonight's show. We have two great main events. First of all, we have a non-title match between, Akira Holkuto, the holder of the 'Red Belt', and the woman she took it from Aja Kong. We will also see Vader take on Akira Taue, what a night! Let's get things started with the Public Enemy.”

Zbyszko joins Tenay and Backlund.

Tenay, “Welcome President Zbyszko. Happy New Year. Let's get right to the point, what happened last week?”

Zbyszko, “I don't know. I have instructed all of our technicians to look at our equipment. They have found no malfunctions in any piece of equipment. It appears that someone 'hacked' into our system and changed the presentation.”

Tenay, “Who?”

Zbyszko, “That's a good question. It may have been a couple of computer nerds just playing around, or it could be more serious.”

Backlund, “If I were President, the situation would be remedied and the perpetrators in custody as we speak.”

Zbyszko, “What don't you get right on that Bob, we could use the help.”

Tenay, “Alright, maybe Mr. Backlund can solve our problems. I know this, and the tag team situation, are two mysteries that President Zbyszko is working on.”

Zbyszko, “When we have information on either issue, I will let you know.”

Tenay, “We will be looking forward to that. Now let's go to the ring for an interesting clash of styles, Shinjiro Ohtani meets the Great Kabuki.”

Match #3
Shinjiro Ohtani vs. The Great Kabuki

Ohtani is a great mat wrestler and the bald Kabuki is one of the most mysterious men in the history of the sport. Kabuki's look is different, but the green mist is still around. He spits it in the air and the match begins. Both men have their chances, but the end comes with Ohtani trapping Kabuki in the bridging back suplex.

Tommy Watanabe joins Tenay and Backlund.

Tenay, “With us again is Tommy Watanabe. Tommy, the womens action here in ACW gets better an better. Akira Hokuto, Aja Kong, LCO and the others have been on fire.”

Watanabe, “Believe me when I say this, the action here has made its way back to Japan. ACW is the talk of Tokyo.”

Tenay, “Well there is going to be even more conversaion after you make tonight's announcement.”

Watanabe, “That's right. I do have a big announcement.”

Teany, “Well, don't keep us in suspense, go ahead.”

Watanabe, “All Japan Womens Wrestling has decided to create another title. That title will be called the World Super Lightweight Title. This title will feature the lighter wrestlers, and may I say, some of the most exciting wrestlers in the world. “

Tenay, “I'm going to piggyback on what Tommy has said. Not only will this title be recognized by ACW, the tournament to name the first Champion will take place right here in ACW. On January 22, at the 69th Regiment Armory in New York City, broadcast on 'ACW Live!'. Tommy, I also know you want to talk about some of the participants.”

Watanabe, “Yes I do. The final field is not set yet, but we do know that Chaparrita ASARI and Tiger Dream are entered, as well as a young lady know as Ultima Tigrita, which basically translates to 'Ultimate Little Tiger'. And all I have to say, she may be little, but she is exciting.”

Tenay, “We have some video tape of Ultima Tigirita. Let's see it.”



Tenay, “Wow! She is exciting, and I can tell you, not only will she be at the tournament, she will be in action next week on 'ACW Live!”. Now let's see an exciting womens six man tag team match.”

Sonny Onoo and Akira Taue are with Teany and Backlund.

Backlund, “With us are Akira Taue and Sonny Onoo. Mr. Onoo, Vader is hot on the trail of Toshiaki Kawada and the 'Crown of the King'. Tonight you send Taue, Kawada's tag team partner in against Vader. I know you have a plan.”

Onoo, “Sonny Onoo always have plan, smart plan, Taue very tough man, he take care of Vader, Vasder not get to wrestle, he finished after tonight. Taue take care of Vader!”

Tenay, “I still think something is up.”

Backlund, “Allow me to educate small minds like Tenay's. Akira Taue is a former Sumo wrestler. He is feared in Japan and he and Kawada are tag team partners. There is no evil plan here. Taue is just here to destroy Vader. It's that simple.”

Tenay, “We all know how good Taue is. This is going to be a great match, I just think Onoo has something in mind.”

Onoo, “Sonny Onoo very smart, you see.”

Tenay, “I guess we will. Let's go to the ring.”

Vader vs. Akia Taue w/Sonny Onoo

Vader takes the mike from Marshall.

Vader, “Onoo, you think this is going to work! You think Taue is going to stop me, no way! I'll beat him tonight and then I'll take the Crown from Kawada!”

Vader tosses the mike down and attacks Taue. The match is on. This is a brawl. Neither man takes a step backwards. Vader forces Taue into the corner and continues to pound away. Taue fights his way out of the corner and Onoo shouts instructions. Vader scoops up Taue and slams him. He is going for the Vader Bomb. Toshiaki Kawada hits the ring. He attacks Vader. Taue gets to his feet and joins in the attack. Onoo orchestrates the action. Vader is incensed. He fights off both men and they leave the ring. Vader stands in the ring and calls for them both to return. Onoo takes his men to the back leaving a enraged Vader in the ring.

When the match is over. Lee Marshall gives the decision. When he finishes, the arena lights go out. The same message from last night appears on the screen...WAR. A mysterious voice come over the house speakers,

“WAR is coming to ACW!”

Tenay, “WAR? What is going on?

Lee Marshall is in a locker room. There is chaos around him. Several wrestlers are on the floor, injured. Medical personnel are working on them.

Marshall, “Fans, there is chaos in the locker room. I'm not sure what happened, John Nord, John Nord, come over here.”

Nord walks over. He appears to have a cut on his forehead.

Marshall, “John, what happened?”

Nord, “Lee, I'm not really sure. There were about five of us getting ready to wrestle tonight, then four, or five guys, wearing leather jackets and motorcycle helmets burst in. They had aluminum baseball bats and the just starting swinging.”

Marshall, “I see Shannon Moore on the ground, and the Colorado Kid. Van Hammer is over there being treated by EMTs.”

Nord, “Look over here Marshall.”

Nord points to the wall. “WAR” is spray painted on the surface.

Marshall, “Again! We have to find out what is going on. Let's go to Mike and Bob.”

Tenay and Backlund are at the announce table.

Teany, “Mr. Backlund, what's going on? What does “WAR” mean?”

Backlund, “I could solve this problem in nanoseconds, if Zbyszko would put me in charge.”

President Zbyszko joins them at the table.

Zbyszko, “Go ahead, Bob! Don't hide anything.”

Backlund, “I wasn't prepared, I will get back to you.”

Tenay, “Alright President Zbyszko, what is going on? What is “WAR”?

Zbyszko, “I don't know, but I've had enough already. Interfering with our video screen is one think, physically attacking people is another. I wish I could tell you something, but we are all in the dark.”

Tenay, “ACW is in upheaval right now. I don't know who is injured and who isn't. We are going to have to find out who can wrestle tonight, and who can't. We have a great main event for you. We scheduled a six man tag team match, Bradshaw and the Bruise Brothers vs. Wolf Hawkfield, the Patriot and the Eagle. When we return, we'll see who can wrestle.”

Tenay, “We're back. The big six man main event is still on, but other matches are being changed. We'll have to call them on the fly tonight. Let's go to the ring.”

John Nord vs. Ron Studd

Nord has a bandage on his forehead. He and Studd battle it out with hammering rights and lefts. Nord uses a powerslam for the win.

Johnny Ace def. The Executioner, w/Ace Crusher

Tommy Watanabe joins Tenay and Backlund.

Tenay, “Welcome Tommy, on what is becoming a very confusing night, we have womens wrestling action. Ultima Tigrita is here tonight.”

Watanabe, “Yes she is. She is one of the most exciting young wrestlers in the world. She comes from Mexico and has that high-flying Lucha style.”

Teany, “We will also see the WWWA Tag Team Champions in action. LCO takes on the former Champions, Double Inoue. These two teams traded the titles back and forth last year, and you know that the Inoue, Takako and Kyoko, would love to regain the, Tonight is a non-title match, but a win in this one would surely earn them a title shot. Let's go to the ring.”

Ultima Tigrita vs. Rockin' Robin

The young masked girl is too much for the veteran from Louisiana. She confuses Robin with her high-flying style and uses the Quebrada for the win.

Las Cachorras Orientales (WWWA Tag Team Champions) vs. Double Inoue

This is action from the opening bell. The Champions control the early action, but Inoues rally and come very close to winning. The time limit expires and nothing is settled.

Tenay, Watanabe and Backlund are at the desk.

Tenay, “O.K. We have worked out the rest of the program. Tommy Watanabe has stayed with us to commentate on our next match.”

Backlund, “Just more inane drivel we are subjecting our fans to.”

Tenay, “Well that's Mr. Backlund's opinion. Tommy is still with us because our next match features Jun Akiyama and Shinjiro Ohtani. These two have met in ACW before, but Tommy will tell us a little more about this rivalry.”

Wantanbe, “Thank you Mike, and you too, Mr. Backlund. Jun Akiyama is one of the fastest rising stars in All Japan Pro Wrestling, Shinjiro Ohtani held that same position in New Japan Pro Wrestling. In Japan, those two organizations do not co-promote shows, so the fans never got to see the battle of the 'Young Lions'. Since both men have come to ACW they have met several times, but neither man seemed to be able to establish themselves as the clear winner. Tonight they meet again.”

Backlund, “A very foolish opinion. If I were to elaborate, the fans would be much better informed.”

Tenay, “Maybe next time, Mr. Backlund, Let's go to the ring.”

Match #5
Shinjiro Ohtani vs. Jun Akiyama

This is a classic wrestling match. Ohtani does more mat wrestling, and Akiyama counters with more of a hard-hitting style and the fans are on the edge of their seats. Both men get two counts, but the end comes when Ohtani reverses a cradle and referee Chad Patton counts the fall. The fans are left waiting more.

Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi (Unified Tag Team Champions) def. Ricky Santana and Vic Steamboat, Misawa w/Tiger Driver vs. Santana

Lee Marshall is with the Terminator.

Marshall, “With me is a newcomer to ACW, the Terminator. You have been here only a few days, but you've impressed everyone. Your claw hold has beaten several top wrestlers.”

Terminator, “I have come to ACW to destroy anyone who steps in the ring with me. I have wrestled all over the world, and now I've come to the area where everyone says the top talent is. I don't care who is in the ring with me, my claw hold is unstoppable! Anyone is my path will be destroyed!”

Marshall, “This man is very impressive. Tonight he meets the talented
Barry Horowitz. This will be a challenge.”

Match #7
The Terminator vs. Barry Horowitz

Horowitz uses his mat wrestling skill to keep the mysterious big man at bay. The Terminator then uses his size and strength to take over. He wins with the Claw.
Winner-The Terminator

Backlund is with Wolf Hawkfield, the Patriot and the Eagle.

Backlund, “No, your calender is not wrong. It's not Halloween. With me are Wolf Hawkfield, the Patriot and the Eagle. Gentlemen, and I use that term loosely, you look ridiculous, but I do admit you all have a modicum of talent. Tonight you meet three dumb hillbillies. This may be a first for you, you may be smarter than you opponents.”

Hawkfield, “Mr. Backlund, we have had this conversation before. I respect what you have done in wrestling. I know that you do not like me, and I can not worry about that. I am here to wrestle and make a name for myself. If you do no respect me, unfortunately I cannot help that.”

Patriot, “Wolf's is a lot nicer than I am, Backlund you're a fool, and after this match, I may teach you a lesson in respect!”

Eagle, “We're here to wrestle, not argue with this crazy guy, let's go to the ring.”

The three head to the ring leaving Backlund stammering and stuttering.

Bradshaw and the Bruise Brothers are with Lee Marshall.

Marshall, “With me are three big Southern boys.”

Bradshaw, “I'm from Texas, not the South!”

Marshall, “What's the difference?”

Bradshaw, “You're from the North, you wouldn't know.”

Marshall, “O.K. So much for the geography lesson. You three meet the Patriot, the Eagle and Wolf Hawkfield, Bradshaw, we know you want the TV Title and I know the Bruise Brothers would like a win over a top tag team like the Patriot and the Eagle.”

Bradshaw, “Hawkfield, you're living on borrowed time. You've had that title for a long time, but not much longer. I'm coming for it, and I'll take it!”

R. Harris, “Don and I like to fight, it doesn't matter who's on the other side! These two masked guys are good, and it'll be a good fight!”

D. Harris, “Just like Saturday night back home, let's get this fight started!”

Six Man Tag Team Match
Bradshaw and the Bruise Brothers vs. Wolf Hawkfield, the Patriot and the Eagle

This has mayhem written all over it. Referee Teddy Long will have a very tough job tonight. The match begins with Ron Harris and the Eagle in the ring. The Eagle's quickness allows him to confuse Harris, but not for long. Bradshaw tags in and pounds away at the man in the purple mask. The match progresses and it is an action packed brawl. All six men end up in the ring. Bradshaw and Hawkfield are the legal men. In the chaos Bradshaw hits the Clothesline and covers Hawkfield for the pin. What a match!

Tenay and Backlund close the show.

Tenay, “It stated and ended with a bang. We have to find out who the men in the locker room were, and what is 'WAR'.”

With that, the lights go out, “WAR” appears on the screen and the same voice comes over the speakers.

“You saw only a portion of our power tonight! It will get worse for you...WAR IS HERE!”

Tenay and Backlund are dumbstruck.

Tenay and Backlund open the program.

Tenay, “Welcome to 'ACW Live!'! We are in Poughkeepsie, NY, on the banks of the Hudson River. Everyone in ACW is looking over their shoulder. Last week we had the vicious locker room attack. Nothing has happened tonight...yet.”

Backlund, “More incompetence from ACW and our illustrious President. Zbyszko is letting thugs, whoever they may be, intimidate him and it's sickening.”

Tenay, “That's very unfair, but we'll talk about that later. We have an exciting program tonight. In two weeks, we will have the tournament for the All Japan Womans Super Lightweight Title. We will see four of the entrants tonight. Tommy Watanabe will join us for those matches. Let's go to the ring for our opener.”

Match #1
The Terminator vs. Van Hammer

Both men, as well as Lee Marshall, wait in the ring, however there is no referee.

Marshall, “Teddy Long is scheduled to referee this match, but where is he? Let's go to commercial and try to sort this out.”

We come back from commercial and there is chaos in the back. Lee Marshall is there. Teddy Long is lying on the ground. It appears he is out cold. EMTs are working on him.”

Marshall, “We came to the back and found Teddy like this. Now look at the wall.”

Marshall points at the wall of the hallway. The letters “WAR” are spray painted on the wall.

Marshall, “Back to you Mike and Bob.”

Tenay, “They strike again, whoever they are.”

Backlund, “More terrorism and Zbyszko sits back and lets it happen!”

Tenay, “This is getting more dangerous. Something has to be done. I see Lee Marshall and Jack Doane are headed for the ring. I guess we have a match, but how can we go on looking over our shoulders?”

The match begins and both big men go at it hammer and tong. The Terminator slaps on the claw and it's over.

Tenay and Backlund are joined by Tommy Watanabe.

Teany, “The Terminator has been very impressive, but you just have to keep thinking about what is going on around here. Let's move on to more positive things. As we said earlier, the AJW Super Lightweight Title will be decided next week in New York City. We are going to take a look at several of the candidates in the next four matches. Tommy what are we going to see in our first match?”

Watanabe, “On of our all time favorites is here. The 'Sky Dancer', Chaparrita ASARI, meets the woman from Louisiana, Rockin' Robin.”

Tenay, “ASARI has been improving by leaps and bounds this year, this could be her tournament.”

Tenay, Backlund and Watanabe are back.

Tenay, “ASARI is very sharp, she has to be an early favorite in this tournament. Now it's a match up from south of the border, Ultima Tigrita, who we say last week, takes on a rookie in the sport, Fabi Apache. Tommy, what about it.”

Watnabae, “As you said, Apache is a rookie, but she comes from a wrestling family. This will be a great one.”

Tenay, “That was an exciting match! We've seen the 'Little Tiger' a couple of times, and she is very impressive.”

Watanabe, “She is good, but young Fabi Apache has a bright future as well.”

Teany, “When we return. The 'Fighting Cheetah', Rie Tamada, takes on Velvet McIntyre.”

Tenay, “Rie Tamada has to be a favorite in the tournament as well.”

Watanabe, “She is very talented and you are correct, she could win it.”

Tenay, “We have one more ladies match. Tommy is going to tell you about Toshie Uematsu, but I'm going to tell you about her opponent. Miss Janeth is a 'Ruda' Luchadore from Mexico. Her nickname is 'La Bruja' which translates to 'The Witch'. That's about all you need to know.”

Watanabe, “I concur. Toshie Uematsu is very talented and exciting young wrestler. She and 'La Bruja' will be a great matchup.”

Lee Marshall is with Vader.

Marshall, “Vader, what is going on with the 'WAR' thing?”

Vader, “I don't care! I'm not worried about 'WAR'! I care about Kawada and the 'Crown of the King'! I want that title. Kawada meet me in the ring!”

Marshall, “I know the fans want to see this match and I'm sure it will be signed.”

Vader, “It better be soon!”

Marshall, “Let's see Vader in action.”

Vader def. Barry Horowitz, w/Vader Bomb

Marshall is with The Public Enemy.

Marshall, “Gentleman, I guess, do you have any idea what is going on with 'WAR'?”

Grunge, “Oh Rocco, I'm scared. They're beating up people all the time. What if they come after us?”

Rock, “You know what I'm gonna' do? I'm gonna' take them and put them trough a table! Johnny and I aren't backing down! We grew up in South Philly, it was WAR every night!”

Marshall, “Tonight you take on Yosahinari Ogawa and Manukea Mossman. What's going to happen?”

Grunge, “We can't pronounce their names, but we can pound 'em!”

Match #7
The Public Enemy vs. Yoshinari Ogawa and Manukea Mossman

The Japanese team is able to keep the “Hoodies” off balance with mat wrestling, but it doesn't last long. PE rallies and roughs up their opponents. They use the Drive By for the pin on Mossman. After the match they put Mossman on a table and Rock puts the Hawai'ian through it.
Winners-The Public Enemy

Larry Zbyszko, Tenay and Backlund are at the desk.

Teany, “Our feature match is next. Johnny Ace meets Jun Akiyama. Mr. Zbyszko, we've seen an exciting show, but again, whatever 'WAR” is, is what everyone is thinking about.”

Backlund, “Tell us what you are going to do about this! ACW is going to pot, with you in charge!”

Zbyszko. “Look Backlund, if you can solve this problem, I'll resign as President and you can take over. I've got everyone in the organization working on this. We'll solve it, but right now we don't know very much.”

Tenay, “That's about all we can ask, our feature match is next.”

Match #8
Johnny Ace vs. Jun Akiyama

This is an exciting clash of styles. Both men trade holds and counter holds. Akiyama high impact style is matched by Ace's hard hitting American style. Both men have their chances, but Ace hits the Ace Crusher for the win. Both men shake hands after the match. Marshall begins to announce the winner when the lights go out and 'WAR' appears on the screen.

“Tonight it was a referee! Who will be next? Only War knows!”

Tenay, “They're back. Mr. Backlund, what is going on?”

Backlund, “Whoever this is, I've had about enough. Mr. Backlund will solve this problem.”

Tenay, “I really hope you do. We can't go on like this. Now about next week, we will be at the historic 69th Regiment Armory in New York City. Six exciting women will compete for the AJW Super Lightweight Title. Hopefully that is all we talk about.”

Tenay, “Welcome to the historic 69th Regiment Armory! This venerable old facility is on the list of historic structures in New York City and we are so glad to be back here!”

Backlund, “New York City, the center of crime, ignorance and depravity in this country, yes I am so proud to be here.”

Tenay, “Alright Mr. Backlund, let's talk about tonight. We have an exciting night of the ladies. The All Japan Womens Super Lightweight Title will be decided tonight.”

Backlund, “So it's 'Louisa May Alcott Night', 'Little Women'.”

Tenay, “Oh I get it. We can talk about the positive, but we all have to look over our shoulders and worry about 'WAR'. Two weeks ago, we saw a locker room attack. Last week it was an attack on referee Teddy Long. Because of that attack, ACW President Larry Zbyszko issued this statement.”

We see Zbyszko seated at a table with Jack Doane, Chad Patton and Charles Robinson.

Zbyszko, “Good evening. I have an announcement concerning the referees of ACW. The referee in wrestling has a thankless job, the fans hate him, wrestlers try to fool them , which I did for 20 glorious years and even their dog growls at them. With that said, ACW wants its' officials to be safe. Teddy Long, our senior referee, was injured in a backstage attack. He suffered a severe concussion. Doctors have advised him to retire from the ring. We will miss Teddy. He was a good, honest official. Long's injury leaves a void in ACW. We need a 'Senior Official' and we also need a new official. Let's get right to the point. Jack Doane has been with ACW since the doors opened, he is a fine official and he will be our new Senior Official. We also have Charles Robinson with us. Charles is a fine young official, who had refereed all over the country and in Mexico as well. We have three fine officials, but we have to protect them. Until further notice, all referees with be accompanied by security personnel at all times, in the locker room, on the way to the ring and on the way from the ring. That cowardly attack will not happen again!”

Tenay, “It looks like President Zbyszko is tired of all this and he is stepping up.”

Backlund, “PFFT! Locking the barn door after the horse has been stolen.”

Tenay, “Alright, let's bring out Tommy Watanabe.”

Watanabe joins Tenay and Backlund.

Tenay, “Welcome Tommy. It's time for the Super Lightweight Tournament. We have six exciting ladies here tonight. Two wrestlers have been seeded and receive byes into the second round, they are Ultima Tigrita and Chaparrita ASARI. We have two first round matchups, Tiger Dream meets Toshi Uematsu in our first match, and then Rie Tamada takes on Tomoko Miyaguchi. Tommy, what about match number one?”

Watanabe., “This is a very even matchup. Both Tiger Dream and Toshi Uematsu are young, and talented, I think whoever makes the first mistake will lose.”

Tenay, “That's a pretty good assessment. Let's get the tournament started.”

Tiger Dream vs. Toshie Uematsu

Referee Jack Doane comes to the ring with two security guards flanking him. The bell rings and it's action personified. Both ladies have their chances, but Uematsu uses a Northern Lights Suplex for the win.

Tenay, Backlund and Watanabe are at the table.

Tenay, “Tommy, you were right. One mistake and Uematsu capitalizes. She moves on to face Chaparrita ASARI. Now Tomoko Miyaguchi takes on the 'Fighting Cheetah' Rie Tamada. What do you think Tommy.”

Watanabe, “Tamada has the experience, I have to go with her.”

Rie Tamada vs. Tomoko Miyaguchi

The younger Miyaguchi gives it her all, but Tamada wins with a Dragon Suplex.

Tenay, Backlund and Watanabe are at the table.

Tenay, “Tommy is right again. Tamada moves on to face Ultima Tigrita. We now have an exciting tag team match for you. This is a rematch from New Year's Eve. The Bruise Brothers take on B'wanna Wippleman's team of the Kamalas. Let's go to the ring.”

The Bruise Brothers wait in the ring with referee Chad Patton, who is flanked by two security guards. They wait, but Wippleman and the Kamalas do not arrive.

Marshall, “Fans, I don't like this. Wippleman and his men should be here by now. Let's go to commercial. This is very reminiscent of last week.”

We return from commercial and Marshall is in the hallway. Wippleman is on the ground, out cold. The Kamalas are wandering around make animalistic sounds.

Marshall, “Fans, it's happened again! Look at the wall.”

The letters “WAR” are spray painted on the wall.

Let's go back to Mike and Mr. Backlund.

Tenay, “Mr. Backlund, it's happened again! 'WAR', whatever it is, is back!”

Backlund, “Impeach Zbyszko! He is the Bill Clinton of wrestling, get rid of him!”

Tenay, “I don't know about that. It appears the tag team match will continue. The Bruise Brothers are in the ring, and it looks like the Kamalas are coming to the ring.”

Match #3
The Bruise Brothers vs. The Kamalas

The Kamalas are lost without Zbyszko. They attack the Bruise Brothers, but they have even less cohesiveness than usual. The match is a brawl and it ends when Ron Harris get the massive Kamala II up for a Power Bomb.

Tenay, “The Kamalas seemed lost without Wippleman. It's hard to feel sorry for Harvey, but things are getting very dangerous around here. Let's go back to the women. We are ready for the Semi-Finals. Tommy, in one match, Chaparrita ASARI takes on Toshie Uematsu, and in the other, Rie Tamada meets Ultima Tigerita. What do you think?”

Watamabe, “Wow! Tough choices. I'm going with ASARI and Tamada.”

Tenay, “Let's see if Mr. Watanabe is correct.”

Backlund, “I seriously doubt it.”

Chaparrita ASARI vs. Toshie Uematsu

Two top young wrestlers go at it in this one. The action is fast paced. Uematsu takes over early, but ASARI rallies. She slams Uematsu nd climbs to the top rope. She lands the Skytwister Press for the win.

Rie Tamada vs. Ultima Tigrita

The veteran Tamada starts off aggressively. The masked woman from Mexcio is in trouble. Tigrita digs deep and mounts a comeback. She uses a Quebrada for the win.

Marshall is with Stan Hansen.

Marshall. “What an exciting night of wrestling! The woman have put on a show. I'm here with Stan Hansen. Stan, I want you to see this video.”

We see Steve “Dr. Death” Williams standing in front of a Japanese ring.



Williams. “Stan Hansen, I'm in Japan and I've won every match! The only man to beat me in two years is you, two years! I give you all the credit in the world, but I can't let this stand. I'm coming back in February and I want you! I want you one more time, with the title on line!”

Marshall, “Stan, what do you have to say?”

Hansen, “Here's what I have to say! Zbyszko, stop playing private eye in the back, get yourself to the Championship Committee and get this match signed! Williams, there's nothing I like more than beating you up, I'll be glad to do it again!”

Marshall, “I know the committee will get this match signed and the fans will love it! Now let's see the American Champion in the ring.”

Marshall, “With me is a man returning to ACW. He is a former American Tag Team Champion, from West Texas, Bobby Duncun Jr. Bobby welcome back.”

Duncum, “Cut the pleasantries Marshall! I was here from the beginning, I was 'THE' breakout star! I moved around, and from the outside, I watched ACW grow and grow, and I should have been on top, not in some tag team, but me, with singles titles!”

Marshall, “Well I know that everyone was impressed with you before, I know they will be again.”

Duncum, “I don't care who's impressed, I'm taking care of number one!”

Bobby Duncum Jr. def. Manukea Mossman, w/Bulldog

Tenay, Backlund and Watanabe are at the desk.

Tenay, “It's time to crown the All Japan Womens Super Lightweight Title. Chaparria ASARI and Ultima Tigrita will battle it out. Tommy, I've asked you about all the other ones, what about this one?”

Watanabe, “Well, it's Japan vs. Mexico, and I hate to say this, but I'm picking against my homeland, I'll take Tigrita.”

Tenay, “You may not be allowed back in Tokyo, but at least you're honest.”

AJW Super Lightweight Championship
Chaparrita ASARI vs. Ultima Tigrita

The fans would be well advised not to blink, or they miss several moves. The action is lightning fast. Both girls are very sharp. They both get nearfalls, but can't get that elusive three ount. Tigrita goes for the Quebrada, but misses. ASARI quickly scoops her up and slams her to the mat. Chaparrita goes to the top rope and hits the Skytwister Press. Referee Jack Doane counts 1...2...3! Chaparrita ASARI is the Super Lightweight Champion. Tommy Watanabe handles the announcement and presents the title to ASARI. The New York crowd loves the 4-11 dynamo!

Tenay and Backlund are joined by Larry Zbyszko.

Tenay, “President Zbyszko joins us. President Legend, we had a great show tonight. The ladies gave us a fantastic tournament, but all people will talk about is the attack on Wippleman.”

Zbyszko, “You klnow I don't think a lot of old Harve, but we can't have this. We are going to increase security backstage at all of our shows and we continue to try to get to the bottom of this.”

Backlund, “You are doing such a great job, so far.”

Zbyszko, “Any time you have any answers, you be sure and let me know.”

Tenay, “I know you have some news concerning the missing American Tag Team Titles.”

Zbyszko, “Yes we do. I have set a 'drop dead' date of February 1 for the titles to be returned to us. If they are not returned and this is not settled by that date, we will proceed with a tournament to crown new champions.”

Tenay, “With that in mind, we have a great main event scheduled for next week, in Hershey, PA, the Patriot and the Eagle will take on Sonny Onoo's team of the Pacific Cyclones. If we do have a tournament, those two teams will be top contenders.”

Zbyszko, “I think...”

The lights go out and “WAR” appears on the video screen. The same voice begins.

“Long, Wippleman, Zbyszko, keep looking over your shoulder, you may be the next victim of...WAR!”

The program ends with Tenay, Backlund and Zbyszko looking stunned.

Tenay, “Welcome to Hershey, PA, the 'Chocolate Capital' of the world! Hershey brings on thoughts of happiness and goodness, but the felling in ACW if far from that. Whoever, or whatever, 'WAR' is they have made their mark on ACW, locker room attacks, attacks on referees and managers, the arena is not a safe place.”

Backlund, “Again President Zbyszko has failed us. He is an incompetent nincompoop! When I arrived in ACW we became the preeminent wrestling organization in the world, now we are the laughing stock of the wrestling world.”

Tenay, “Let's talk about more present things. We have a great card for you tonight. We have a great tag team main event. The Patriot and Eagle take on the Pacific Cyclones. Remember February 1 is the 'Drop Dead' date for the return of the American Tag Team Titles. If the titles are not returned, a tournament will take place. These two teams would be favorites in that tournament, We will also see several debuts this week. We will see a tag tam called the 'Samoan Gangstas'. They will take on Public Enemy, our old friend, Brutus 'The Barber' Beefcake returns and in the our first match, we have a “BIG' return, King Kong Bundy will be in action.”

Bundy manhandles the Kid. He wins with the Atlantic City Avalanche and demands that referee Chad Patton count five.

Grunge, “Rocco, he's talking about gentlemen again. I saw those two big Sam-oans, they look tough, and you know those 'WAR' people are still around.”

Rock, “I saw 'em too Johnny, they are big and they don't look happy. It may be tough, but you know what we do, we fight! And 'WAR', whoever, or whatever you are, you come on down too. Johnny and I are ready!”

Marshall, “Public Enemy vs. the Samoan Gangstas, it has mayhem written all over it.”

The Public Enemy vs. The Samoan Gansgstas

Samu and Rosey have the size advantage of the South Philly Hoodies, but that's never concerned PE. The match is a war devoid of wrestling holds. Referee Charles Robinson does his best, but he cannot control the action. He calls for the bell and disqualifies both teams.

Vader, “Ready? Ready? Of course Vader is ready! Kawada's been ducking me and he knows I'll destroy him! Three weeks, it's 'Vader Time' for the King, I'm taking the crown!”

Hawkfield, “Everyone in ACW is good. I place my title on the line every night, and I know it could be my last night as Champion. Bradshaw has taken me to the limit, and that is what I want. I welcome the challenge. Johnny Ace will do the same tonight. I came her for competition and that is what I have found.”

Marshall, “Fans, this one will be exciting.”

Wolf Hawkfield (Champion) vs. Johnny Ace

This match is very even. Both men have their chances. Ace goes for the Ace Crusher, but Hawkfield blocks it. He shoots Ace into the ropes and hits the Cyber Spear. Referee Jack Doane counts the fall. A hard fought win for the Champion.

Marshall is with the Patriot and the Eagle.

Marshall, “With me is the popular masked team. The Patriot and the Eagle continue to have great success in ACW. Gentlemen, we all know that President Zbyskzo has decreed that, if the the American Tag Team Titles don't appear by February 1, there will be a tournament. You have to be favorites in that tournament.”

Patriot, “If that happens, the Eagle and I will be ready. We'd love to have those titles and we have th confidence to win them.”

Eagle, “Tonight we get the Pacific Cyclones, we can beat them tonight, and if we get them in a tournament, we'll beat them then.”

Marshall, “This is a confident tag team. Let's go to Bob Backlund who is with Sonny Onoo and the Pacific Cyclones.”

Backlund is with Sonny Onoo and the Pacific Cyclones.

Backlund, “Mr, Onoo, your tag team hasn't been around for a while, can you tell us where they were?”

Onoo, “Great tag team tour Japan, win many matches, many matches. They bring home big money. Now they beat American weaklings and then win tournament, they be Champs!”

Backlund, “Mr. Onoo, articulate as usual. I believe his team will be Champions, soon.”

Match #8
The Patriot and the Eagle vs. The Pacific Cyclones w/Sonny Onoo

The match is fast paced. Both teams tag in and out. Naniwa goes for the Clutch de Naniwa, but the Eagle reaches the ropes. The Eagle then slaps on the sleeper, but the masked man gets to the ropes. Both teams have their chances and the crowd is on the edge of their seats. Suddenly there is a commotion in the crowd. Four men, wearing motorcycle helmets and leather jackets, and carrying baseball bats, jump over the barricades. They enter the ring and attack the Patriot and the Eagle. Both men go down in heaps. They turn toward the Cyclones, but stop. One of the men rolls out of the ring and reaches under the apron. He pulls out a bag and climbs back in the ring. He reaches into the bag and pulls out two title belts.

Tenay, “Those are the American Tag Team Titles!”

He hands the belts to Naniwa and Delphin.





Tenay, “Onoo was behind all this? NO!!!!!”

Naniwa and Delphin smash Onoo with the belts. Sonny goes down and the other four men put the bats to him. He is out cold. One of the men in the helmets reaches into the bag and pulls out a can of spray paint. He paints “WAR” on the front plates of the title belts. Naniwa and Delphin hold them aloft.”

Tenay, “Those six men, whoever they are, must be 'WAR'. God help us.”
