TV taping 6-3-88.
ICW (International Championship Wrestling) is taped live from WDBD (Fox affiliate) studio Saturday morning June 3, 1988. The announcing team of Charlie Platt & Rick Stewart welcome the fans to today's shhow. Charlie & Rick says we have some big news this week in the ICW. Last night in Jackson, Mike George & Jerry Oates regained the ICW Tag Team Belts from the Masked Grapplers managed by Rock Hunter. And also last night, Greg 'the Hammer' Valentine injured Killer Kahn to collect manager Don Carson's $15,000. In another incident, manager Rock Hunter fired the Grapplers after they lost the tag team titles back to Mike George & Jerry Oates. They will have more from Rock Hunter later on in the hour.
Manager Don Carson with Greg Valentine to a loud chorus of boos. Carson thanks Valentine for getting rid of that mongolian meance Killer Kahn. The Hammer says Don came to the right man to get the job done. Valentine says he likes the money but he wants a nice championship belt to go along with his money. The Hammer tells ICW Champion 'Sadistic' Steve Strong that he had better no ignore Greg Valentine as a challenger. That could be a very dangerous mistake.
