- Vladimir Pietrov w/ Ivan Koloff vs. Doug Furnas
Furnas got a great reception from the Knoxville crowd, and he and Pietrov had a slug fest from bell to bell, with little wrestling holds, but lots of power moves. In the end, it looked like Furnas was going to finish off Pietrov with his running power slam, but Ivan grabbed his foot from the floor. Furnas dropped Pietrov and chased Ivan around the ring. While he was occupied doing this, Pietrov retrieved the chain from the corner and wrapped it around his arm. To get away, Ivan came into the ring with Furnas right behind, and when Furnas came in, Pietrov blasted him with the chain, drawing the DQ. With Furnas down, Pietrov and Koloff put the boots to him until "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan came in for the save! He was fighting off both Russians, but was about to go down until Furnas recovered and made it a 2 on 2 fight. Furnas and Duggan drove the Russians from the ring to loud approval from the Knoxville fans. Time of match was 10:00.
