They’re all right, I’m all of those things, but above all I’m a ‘truth teller’. This program will get to the truth in the WWF. I’ll answer all the questions, whether you want those answers, or not. Two weeks ago, Jesse. Ventura told us he had big news. Last week, he told us Hulk Hogan wanted to retire. He told us he had proof. That’s why he’s here today. Of he has it, the ‘Snake Pit’ will find it. My guest, Jesse Ventura.”
Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura walks out holding a paper.
Roberts, “Ventura, I brought you out here to tell the truth. Don’t lie to these people, and you better not lie to me.”
Ventura, “Listen Roberts, I respect you, you are a snake, but you tell the truth, and that’s why I’m here to tell the truth about Hulk Hogan.”
Roberts, “Get to it. Where’s your proof that Hogan wants to quit wrestling?”
Ventura, “I’ve got it! I have a letter from a Hollywood producer. He has asked that we not use his name, but he sent me a copy of this letter from Hogan. I’ll read part of it. ‘I am interested in acting. I know that my popularity in wrestling will translate to movies and TV. I want you to consider a movie, or TV show that I could star in.’ That proves Hogan wants to follow me to Hollywood!”
Roberts, “Let me see that letter.”
Ventura hands the letter to Roberts.
Roberts, “This letter looks legitimate It has Hogan’s signature on it, and he is asking for roles in movies, and TV, but I’ll say this, this is one side of the story. We need Hogan’s side.”
Ventura, “Ha! That liar is not going to say anything!”
Roberts, “He’ll talk to me. I’ll have Hogan here next week.”
The crowd explodes.
Jesse Ventura is back in the announce position.
McMahon, “Jesse, all you did is bring in a letter. It doesn't prove he wants to retire!”
Ventura, “McMahon, you love Hogan so much, you can’t face the fact that your hero is afraid of the ‘Million Dollar Giant’!”
McMahon, “Jake will have Hulk Hogan here next week, he’ll set the record straight!”
