Gordon Solie and Les Thatcher welcomes the fans to the premier edition of Florida Championship Wrestling. Solie mentions that this week they will have a big announcement about the Florida Heavyweight Title tournament coming in the Month of October, plus Thatcher makes mention of the TV Main Event that will feature the “Black Nature Boy” Scott Andrews taking on the “Pug” Alex Porteau. This plus lots more action
Solie leads us to the ring for the opening contest.

Andrews mentions that he’s here for one reason and that reason is to win the Florida Heavyweight Title, and there’s no way that when it’s said and done, that the title won’t be around his waist. He continues by telling Porteau to be ready for later tonight, cause when the bell rings, he’s going to be strutting and styling all across the Sunshine State.

Bruno thanks the fans for tuning into the premiere edition of FCW. He mentions that FCW will represent what wrestling used to be. The greatest stars in the world will be competing here in Florida, and the fans are in for some great wrestling action.
He then announces that on October 27th at the Sunrise Civic Center in Fort Lauderdale , the first Florida Heavyweight Champion will be crown. In the upcoming weeks he’ll be announcing the field of the 8 competitors that will battle for the title. So he invites all FCW Stars to work hard and put some win together, because this will determine the ranking and also who is in the tournament or not.
Once again, he thanks the fans for tuning and hopes that they will enjoy the action of Florida Championship Wrestling.

Porteau says that he’s happy to be in Florida and he’s looking forward to making a name for himself. He’s wrestled around the world and he wants to make Florida home. He mentions that he’s going to work hard and do whatever it takes to be in the Florida Title Tournament and bring the title home for the great fans of Florida.

”The Pug” Alex Porteau defeats ”Black Nature Boy” Scott Andrews by DQ. Porteau appeared to have the match won following a Running Power slam, however Amy Vitale came out from the back and distracted referee Jimmy Jett. As Porteau got into a shouting match with Vitale, Preston Steele and Steven Dane charged the ring and attacked Porteau. Andrews joined in the assault and it was a 3 on 1 attack till Mark Starr and Wendell Cooley came charging from the back and even the sides.
Andrews, Steele and Dane make a retreat to the outside and then get into a shouting match with Porteau, Starr and Cooley in the ring. Amy Vitale leads her men to the back has the show goes off air.
