ICW (International Championship Wrestling) is taped live from WDBD (Fox affiliate) studio Saturday morning May 20, 1988.
The announcing team of Charlie Platt & Rick Stewart welcome the fans to today's show. Charlie & Rick says a lot of things happened last night in the Fairgrounds Coliseum including the crowning of a new International Championship Wrestling Champion - 'Sadistic' Steve Strong. And it appears that Mark Lewin was severly injured at the end of the match & had to be stretchered to the dressing room. Lewin is in a local hospital as we speak & we hope to have more on his condition next week.
Out comes the new ICW Heavyweight Champion 'Sadistic' Steve Strong with his valet Precious who is struting her stuff in hot stretch pants & low cut blouse. Strong says it should be no surprise to anyone that he beat that old man last night before a sell-out crowd of his adoring fans. Platt & Stewart look puzzled at those remarks, coming from a man who the fans constantly boo in every city in Mississippi. Charlie brings up Precious' interference & the using of a chair on Lewin. Steve denies any wrong doing. Strong says he is going to be the longest reighning ICW Champion ever. Precious adds there is not any men in the ICW who can beat my man. The announcers say that remains to be seen. They go to a video tape to see the finish of the ICW Title Match last night
.
Next they go to video of highlights of Killer Kahn beating Alexis Smirnoff in a Mongolian Death Match last night where they fought inside & outside of the ring. Charlie & Rick follow up talking about some new & old faces coming to the ICW beginning this Monday night. Some of those stars include Greg 'the Hammer' Valentine & The Honky Tonk Man.
