MERCER: Welcome to World Class Championship Wrestling! This week, we see the culmination of several weeks of training by the legendary Fritz Von Erich as Sid Vicious makes his pro debut! Buddy Roberts returns to World Class and will wrestle here today! We will also see Big John Studd in a handicap match! Paul Jones called me to his offices this past week and you'll see the results of that visit. We have a very interesting six man tag team match as Terry Funk will team with the New Breed to take on Chavo Guerrero & the Killer Bees! Our main event today will have Chief Wahoo McDaniel and Lance Von Erich taking on “Ragin Bull” Manny Fernandez and Dirty Dutch Mantel! Right now, let's go to the ring!
Buddy Roberts vs. the Nightmare: Roberts returns to take on the masked man.ROberts finds himself in a fast paced, hotly contested match. In the end, Buddy gives the masked man the bulldog to score the pin. Then, he joins Mark Lowrance at ringside...
LOWRANCE: Welcome back and congratulations on the victory.Well, where there's on Freebird, the rest usually follow....
ROBERTS: What are you talking about, Lowrance? Who said I was a Freebird?
LOWRANCE: Well, that's what we've always known you as...
ROBERTS: Yeah, I was a Freebird with Mike and Terry for almost eight years and I'm really proud of that! Things change sometimes, though, Mark Lowrance! These are the days of free agency! Guys go from one team to another all the time! I've found a new team and it's a winning team!
LOWRANCE: Who are you talking about?
ROBERTS: That's for me to know and you to find out, announcer man!
LOWRANCE: Very cryptic remarks from Buddy Roberts! When we come back, Bill Mercer has a big announcement from Paul Jones...

Bill Mercer is standing in an suite of offices. We see areceptionist who looks like a model in the background.
MERCER: I'm here at the offices of Paul Jones. Mr. Jones has called me here for what he says is a major announcement! (Bill walks over to the receptionist) I'm Bill Mercer. Paul Jones asked me to be here today.
RECEPTIONIST: He's expecting you. He's in the conference room at the end of the hall...
Bill Mercer walks down a hall that is lined with large photos of wrestlers: Kabuki, Missing Link, the Iron Sheik, and Ron Bass. Mercer comes to then end of the hallway and walks through the door. There is a long table and Paul Jones is seated at the end of it.
MERCER: Mr. Jones? You wanted to speak with me?
JONES: That's right, Bill Mercer! I have a HUGE announcement! As you know, “Number One” Paul Jones has been synonomous with the greatest talent in professional wrestling. My Army currently consists of the Great Kabuki, the Missing Link, and the great Iron Sheik! I have just signed Outlaw Ron Bass, the greatest wrestler ever to come from the state of Texas! Now, I am ready to announce the formation of the greatest collaboration in the history of the sport! Today begins the era of J&H International! I have formed a partnership with one of the greatest minds in the world of sport! A man whose name is recognized worldwide, but escpecially in World Class Championship Wrestling!
Off Camera Voice: hello, Bill Mercer!
MERCER: Oh, my!
Gary Hart and “Latin Heartthrob” Al Perez enter the room!
MERCER: This is HUGE news! Gary, what are the goals of this new organization?
HART: We're going to dominate World Class! This young man, Al Perez, is the future of this great sport! Ron Bass, the Iron Sheik, the Great Kabuki...have you ever heard of such a diverse array of talent? With my friend, Paul Jones working with me, there is no limit to what we can do, Mercer!
JONES: You know something else? We need to get started on these plans! Mercer, your time is up! I'm sure you can show yourself out!
Cut back to Sportatorium. Bill is at the announce position.
MERCER: I am sure that J & H International will make a huge impact on World Class in the future! They won't be alone. One of the top names is wrestling is on his way to World Class! They call him the Black Superman...TONY ATLAS!
VTR:
Music video set to the above song. We see Tony in action from various territories. We see Atlas working out in the gym. Then, we see him visiting a prison and a children's hospital. Finally, we see Tony decked out in his Superman outfit, flexing his muscles.
MERCER: Tony Atlas will be in World Class, beginning next week! When we return, Sid Vicious makes his wrestling debut!

Sid Vicious (w/Fritz Von Erich) vs. D.I. Bob Carter: Sid's debut gets off to a rough start as Carter attacks him with his riding crop before the bell! After referee David Manning confiscates the weapon and the bell rings, Carter continues to beat Sid from pillar to post! Just when it looks like Sid's debut will be spoiled, he turns the tide by kicking Carter in the face! Vicious makes an amazing comeback and finishes Carter with a powerbomb, a move Mercer says Sid learned from watching old films of Lou Thesz!
After the bout, Mark Lowrance enters the ring to interview Vicious and Von Erich. Before he can get started, Big John Studd enters the ring!
LOWRANCE: Big John Studd, you have a handicap match coming up next, but right now...
Studd rips the mic out of Lowrance's hand!
STUDD: I know that! Before I destroy those geeks, I have something to say to this punk! Sid, you have to be the luckiest guy in the world! Last time I saw you, you walked away with 15 grand of my money, boy! And you're still walking around! Well, it's time for me to rectify that situation! We have the big Star Wars coming up at Reunion Arena! I still haven't signed a contract for that night! I'm saving that night for you! What do you say? (shoves mic into Sid's chest)
FRITZ(voice picking up on the mic) Think about what I told you, Sid! Don't let anybody talk you into something you aren't ready for!
Studd rips the mic out of Sid's hands!
STUDD: OK, I see how it is! This boy will get protected like your sons always have! He's a big, tough wrestler, when he's rolling around on the mat with old men like you, Wahoo, & Blackjack! But he isn't man enough to wrestle the one and only giant in professional wrestling!
Fritz rips the mic from Studd's hand!
FRITZ: OK, listen to me! If you think that Sid here isn't a man and if you think Wahoo and Blackjack are old men, you get two partners and come to Reunion on the 14th! Sid here will be in the ring with Wahoo McDaniel and Blackjack Mulligan! Be there, Studd....unless you're gutless!
STUDD: I have two guys in mind who will be perfect for that match! You just get this jabroni's name on a contract, Fritz! And get out of the ring! I have a match coming up!
LOWRANCE: That is true!
FRITZ: We'll see you on Valentine's Day, big mouth!
LOWRANCE: Handicap action up next!

LOWRANCE: I'm joined now by Tito Santana! Tito, there's been some discussion about whether your injuries would be healed up in time to particpate in Star Wars...
TITO: That discussion can all end right now! I am healthy and ready to wrestle! Just tell the promoters to sign a match!
“Ragin Bull” Manny Fernandez barges into the scene!
FERNANDEZ: Santana, if you're man enough, I'm challenging you to get it on in a barrio fight! That's the kind of action that the Bull grew up on! We wear our jeans, boots, and T Shirts! We can wear a belt with a big buckle or a weight lifting belt! We can tape our fists! We can have a chain or brass knucks in our pockets! And there is nothin like rules! The ref is there to count one man down and it goes until one man is down for the ten count! Are you gonna be a man or are you gonna back out?
TITO: I would rather die than back down from you! If you want a fight, You've got a fight, Manuel! I accept the cahllenge and I'll see you at Reunion and maybe, before that! Just remember that paybacks are hell! Arriba!

The New Breed (Chris Champion & Sean Royal) & Terry Funk(w/Dory Funk, Jr.) vs. The Killer Bees( Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) & Chavo Guerrero: Two very unique teams have an action packed war! Dory proves to be the deciding factor as he slips one of the American Tag belts into Terry and the younger Funk uses the foreign object to knock Chavo out and score the pin! Afterwards, Terry brings in his branding iron and attempts to use it on Chavo and the Bees, but Mando and Hector Guerrero charge in with chairs for the save!
