Chris Cruise and Terrific Terry Taylor welcome everyone to the debut episode of the World Wrestling Association along with them at ringside this evening is the Executive Vice President of the WWA, Former Heavyweight Champion of the World, Mr. Nick Bockwinkel who says that tonight is a landmark occasion not only for Professional Wrestling but for the WWA as well and that on the debut episode of Championship Wrestling we will crown the WWA Heavyweight Champion!
And being a former World Heavyweight Champion it was no easy feat to come up with two wrestlers who would not only represent the WWA, but represent Wrestling with grace, skill, technique, and most importantly Talent. So Mr. Bockwinkel narrowed down a list that the championship committee had before to just a few names, but two names JUMPED OF THE PAGE. Not only did these two men have recognizable names around the entire world, but Mr. Bockwinkel himself knew first hand just how skilled these men were, and most importantly BOTH MEN ARE FORMER HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD
Japanese Living Legend, Antonio Inoki comes out in his trademark kimono and towel, shaking Mr. Bockwinkel’s hand
And his opponent, Mr. Bob Backlund who shakes the hand of Bockwinkel and says what an honor it will be to educate the plebeians about the nuances of wrestling as well as once again Stretching his Japanese counterpart into Submission

Taylor talks about how appreciative the fans of the padded sports usually seen on this channel should be to see such fine grapplers showing them what competition is all about, and that Mr. Backlund has asked him to give an Encyclopedia to Cruise as the Crispy One sends it to the ring where BLACK BART is awaiting his opponent
“Today “ by The Smashing Pumpkins booms and out walks “Heavy Metal” Van Hammer jacked to the gills and rocking his face off much to the enjoyment of the Allentown Arena.
Black Bart is a rugged veteran but is never able to get on the right track as Van Hammer has his way with the brute and finishes off Bart with the SlingShot Suplex and floatover, Mark Curtis makes the 3 and calls for the bell @ 5’22

Backstage Todd Pettengill is standing with The Magnificent Muraco who with his lips curled, and biceps ready to burst, says he has waited on today for a decade! That Jimmy Snuka had his moment of glory in a cage match against the magnificent one, and has been running across the globe ever since! And tonight it will be the Magnificent one’s moment of glory, but unlike Jimmy Snuka it wont be his first nor his last moment of glory

Todd Pettengill is trying to corral a pacing “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka but just as his music hits, Snuka eyeballs the camera and says tonight he finishes Muraco once for all “bruddha”
Jimmy Snuka and The Magnificent Muraco have had many match ups in this building over the course of their careers but tonight’s match was no catch as catch can classic, nor was it a grappling contest of any kind, as these two men picked up where they left off and were trying to cripple one another.
Terry Taylor says this is the greatest thing he has ever seen! The Magnificent Muraco is making pineapple salsa out Snuka and it won't be long before The Magnificent one is wearing gold, that Magnificent Muraco much like Mr. Backlund were pioneers, men whom every father in the country should be proud to have their sons aspiring to be like.
Snuka is a bloody mess and down, but there is fight left in the Superfly yet! And that has Muraco in a state of shock, out hops Muraco, out follows Snuka, THE FIGHT IS ON! as Randy “dont call me PeeWee” Anderson counts both men out @ 9’13

Todd Pettengill is backstage this time with another former champion who is no stranger to these fans ARRIBBBA!! Tito Santana tells the fans its great to be back in Chicago, its great to be on ESPN, and it’ll be even greater to settle the score once and for all with Greg Valentine. Its always been the same with Valentine, Tito wants to be at the top of the mountain and the Hammer stands in his way, but tonight he goes through the Hammer.

Greg “the Hammer” Valentine is already in the ring as Tito Santana makes his way down, these two men are nose to nose as ref Mark Curtis goes over the instructions, but we all know there is nothing he can tell these legends that they haven’t heard before. The athlete’s stares are intense and so is the bout, back and forth, ebb and flow, give and take, but its Valentine laying down the Hammer as whips Santana across the ropes, flying forearm!
Terry Taylor is incredulous as Mark Curtis counts the 3 @ 11’11 of a great contest. Chris Cruise knows that Taylor and Valentine were a very good tag team but that Valentine has nothing to be ashamed of. Taylor says that Chico should still be selling burritos, but instead he is in the WWA cheating true professionals. As cruise sends it too

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII LOOOOOOOOOOOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!! Yes Yes its Brother Love who is especially excited about hosting the Brother Love Show on ESPN, and that he couldn’t think of a better guest than Brother Hollywooooooood, John Tatum and Hollywood is tickled pink. Not only is he back on ESPN, but he is in the center of the wrestling world. And this time he is not alone, no no. THE BLONDE BOMBSHELLS will be making waves throughout the wrestling world, and he had planned on bringing out his partners in crime but he decided to wait until next week. Because he has signed his buddies up for a big match, one against the tag team that summizes everything that is wrong with Professional Wrestling. He has signed his P.I.C’s
Terrific Terry informs us humanoids that means Partners in Crime
Tatum has signed his buddies to take on THE BUSHWACKERS! Brother Love’s face describes what he thinks of Luke and Butch much better than my words ever could and asks Brother Hollywooood if he is sure that his buddies should soil their hands with the LIKES OF THEM DOWN UNDER-LIIIIIIIIIIINGS. But Hollywood John Tatum says him and his boys aint scared to get their hands dirty if thats what it takes to get to them WWA Tag Team Straps.

Todd Pettengill is standing at Ringside with none other than UFC TOURNAMENT CHAMPION DAN “THE BEAST” SEVERN who is preparing for the UFC Superfight against Ken Shamrock. Dan tells Todd that training has gone extremely well and he is sure that it will be his WRESTLING that leads him to victory in the superfight. The natural segway that Pettingill surely wouldn’t miss about wrestling being The Beast’s first love and if Mr. Severn had any plans on returning to Pro Wrestling, but before Mr. Severn could say anything
BIG VITO grabs the mic from out of in front of Dan Severn and says that Todd Pettengill should be spending his time talking to a REAL WRESTLER like Big Vito a man that is signed to the WWA and the man who will dictate the future of Professional Wrestling. Not talking to THE OLD MAN THATS GUNNA GET HIS BUTT WHUPPED. Vito says he is lucky its Ken Shamrock he will be locked in that cage with because if it were Big Vito, The Beast wouldn’t make it out of the cage!
Pettengill looks like he has accidentally caught the mafia stuffing bodies as Dan Severn rubs his hands together, licks his lips, and takes his seat. Mr. Pettengill speculates whether or not Big Vito would have the gaul to do that at a time when Mr. Severn were not contractually obligated to another organization, the camera zooms in on Dan Severn who seems ready to burst as we go to our final commercial break before CROWNING A NEW WWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION

“THE WORLDS MOST DANGEROUS ANNOUNCER” Gary Micheal Cappeta is in the middle of the ring as well as Head Official Randy Anderson holding the WWA Heavyweight Title. “In the corner to my left, he is a 2 Former Heavyweight Champion of the World and current JPW Heavyweight Champion, ICHIIIBAN, Antoooooonio Inokiii.... And his opponent in the corner to my right, Former NCAA Wrestling Champion, Former Heavyweight Champion of the World, BOB
Backlund snatches the mic from Cappetta and informs him that his accolades are far enough superior to Inoki that he had better refer to Mr. Backlund not only as #1 in English as he did Inoki in Japanese, “You’re welcome plebeians, I have educated you” but he had better refer to him as Mr. Backlund!
GMC does so backs out, the bell rings, and Inoki is on a roll. Chris Cruise: “Obviously Mr. Inoki didn’t come all the way to Allentown to lose tonight” Terry Taylor: “Obviously you’re as dumb as you look if you think Inoki is even in Mr. Backlund’s league. Have you been using the encyclopedia I gave you earlier pip squeak, leave the match predictions to color commentator, not quite retired Professional, thank you”

We return and Inoki has his patent Octopus Hold on Mr. Backlund, Referee Anderson is almost ready to ring the bell but Backlund wont give it up! Terry Taylor: “I told ya Crispy Inoki cant beat Mr. Backlund, not here, not in Japan not anywhere”
Inoki drops down, turns the hips, Chris Cruise: “INOKI HAS THE SHOULDERS DOWN 1......2.....and NO! Backlund rolls through, hooks a hammer lock, returns to his feet. Cinches in the chinlock, MR BACKLUND WRAPS IT UP, Terry Taylor: “Just like in WWII the cream rises to the top Cruiser, that is the Crossface Chicken Wing, one of the most painful holds in the sport play by play man, no way Inoki gets out of this”
And the Terrific one was right, the Great Antonio Inoki rolls, grasps, inches to the ropes only to be cinched up worse and after a valiant effort is forced to submit as Randy Anderson calls for the bell @ 13’22
Cappetta: “Ladies and Gentlemen your winner ANNNND NEWWWW WWA Heavyweight Champion Mr. Bob Backlund”
As Nick Bockwinkel straps on the title Mr Backlund grabs the mic and begins to rant but Chris Cruise is telling us we are desperately out of time Terry Taylor: “How dare you interrupt the new champ, now lets go to Sportscenter”
