Jim Ross: Hello everyone and welcome to World Championship Wrestling here on the Superstation!!! I’m Jim Ross and I’m here with Tony Schiavone and Tony, we have quite the show in store for the fans today!!!
Tony Schiavone: You can say that again Jim Ross!!!! First we have to talk about our main event where Sting and “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes join forces to take on Kevin Sullivan and the newest member of the Army of Darkness, “The Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer!!!!!!
Jim: And after what happened last week we know that is going to be a wild one!! Fans, this past week we held two different Bunkhouse Stampede qualifiers and now both the new World Television Champion Big Bubba Rogers and Dick Murdoch join Barry Windham, Ricky Steamboat and the United States Champion Lex Luger in the Bunkhouse Stampede that will be held live on Pay Per View on February 23rd from the Superdome!!!
Tony: That means half of the field of ten has been decided!!!!
Jim: That it has Tony, and there are still several wrestlers like former Television Champion Nikita Koloff, Jimmy Garvin, Jesse Barr, Sting, Kevin Sullivan and even the two time former winner of the Bunkhouse Stampede, “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes on the outside looking in!!!!!
Tony: That they are!!! Let’s not forget also here today, a team that has been climbing the rankings, The Dynamic Dudes will be here!!!
Jim: Shane Douglas and Johnny Ace had a hard go of it last week, so I know they are looking to rebound this week when they face the veteran duo of f “Hangman” Bobby Jaggers and “Wild” Bill Irwin!!! And Jimmy Garvin will be in action against “The Exotic” Adrian Street!!!
Tony: And don’t forget, the man who beat Jesse Barr last week in a 2 out of 3 falls match, Mike Rotundo, will face “The Total Package” Lex Luger for Luger’s United States Heavyweight Title!!!
Jim: With everything surrounding the Horsemen and Rotundo’s best friend Barry Windham, that one could prove to be a powder keg!!!!!
Tony: “The Total Package” isn’t the only Horseman who will be in action as the World Tag Team Champions Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson will be in non title action here today!!!!
Jim: Indeed Tony, but before we get all that let’s go to the ring for our opening match as the NEW World Television Champion Big Bubba Rogers teams up with The Midnight Express to battle the former Champion Nikita Koloff and the United States Tag Team Champions The British Bulldogs!!!!!
Jim Cornette is standing in the ring with a microphone!!!
Cornette Ladies and gentlemen, he is the baddest man walking the planet today, the new World Television Champion Big Bubba Rogers, and his partners, when they come to town the all girls schools go on out of town vacations, Beautiful Bobby and Sweet Stan, THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS!!!!!!
Eaton, Lane and Bubba make their way down to the ring, Lane takes the microphone from Cornette
Lane: And he is the man behind the mayhem….MR. JIIIIIIIIIIIIM CORNETTE!!!!!!
GMC: And introducing their opponents!!!!
GMC: Coming down the aisle, first from Moscow, in the Soviet Union but now residing in Charlotte, North Carolina…..NIKITA KOLOFF!!! And his tag team partners, they are the United States Tag Team Champions….THE BRITISH BULLDOGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nikita and The Bulldogs hit the ring and are immediately attacked by Bubba and the MX before the bell can even ring!!!

The Heels have the upper hand early as they put the boots to the babyfaces, but the faces soon make the comeback and clear the ring, standing tall and posing for the fans!!!!!
Byron Scott finally is able to restore some semblance of order and the match gets under way with Eaton and DK starting for their teams. The two men showcase superior mat wrestling skills as they trade holds and reversals, neither man is able to get the upper hand on the mat, so DK turns up the volume and increases the paces of the match, Eaton keeps pace but DK turns it up even more and soon Eaton finds himself getting knocked around the ring by drops kicks and armdrags. After a backdrop Eaton retreats and tags out to the monster of a man Big Bubba Rogers!!!
DK stays in and tries to use his speed to stay one step ahead of Rogers, but once Rogers finally gets his hands onto DK he start to pummel the US Tag Team Champion senseless. If not for Rogers dropping his head to early and DK leapfrogging him, DK may have lost the match for his team right there. However, after leapfrogging Rogers DK leaps to the corner and tags out to Davey Booy, who unloads on Rogers with punch after punch that has the big man floundering!!! Davey Boy is all charged up as he unloads everything he has at Rogers, even going to the top rope and crashing down on Rogers with a missile dropkick!!! Davey makes a cover!!!

BUBBA KICKS OUT
Davey then makes the quick tag to Nikita, and the crowd comes unglued!!
Nikita comes in and continues to work over Rogers, pounding on the man who took the TV Title from him last week!!!Rogers fires back but Nikita is flattens him with a flying shoulder tackle, Nikita makes a cover!!

ROGERS POWERS OUT AND PRESSES NIKITA OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nikita tags out to Davey Boy who tries to keep the pressure on Rogers, firing off lightning quick strikes, but Rogers clears his head long enough to totally annihilate Davey with a Clothesline that damn near sends Davey’s skull into the third row!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Rogers grabs Davey and launches him into the heels corner. Rogers and the MX then begin to tag in and out and start to work over Davey under Cornette’s orders!!! DK keeps getting more and more upset and several times jumps into the ring, forcing Scott to turn his back on the heels and tell DK to get out of the ring. While Scott’s busy with DK , the heels are working over Davey!!!!
Jim Ross: What do you mean we need to cut away?? What’s going on??? I am hearing in my ear that there is something going on in the back……
The screen goes to a split screen, half showing the action in the ring as the heels continue to work over Nikita, while backstage, wrestlers and referees are trying to hold The Powers of Pain back!!!!! “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes is lying on the ground, his clothes torn and looking like he just went 12 round with a mack truck!!!! Sting suddenly appears to check on his partner as Sandy Scott orders security to eject the Powers of Pain from the building!!!!
Tony Schiavone: The Powers of Pain have attacked Dusty Rhodes, and it looks like he may be severely injured Jim Ross!!
Jim Ross: No doubt under orders from that damn Kevin Sullivan!!!! Is Dusty going to be in any shape to wrestle in the main event against Sullivan and Sawyer?
? We will have to figure that out later because right now the Midnight Express and Big Bubba are whipping Davey Boy Smith like a scalded dog!!!!!!! Lane and Eaton have Davey in the center of the ring, they send him into the ropes and hit a double flap jack!!! Eaton tries for a pin!!!

We come back from commercial break to Bob Caudle standing outside a door that has a red cross taped to it.
Bob: Hello wrestling fans, I’m waiting to get some news on the condition of Dusty Rhodes, but I am going to tell you it didn’t loo---
Bob stops as Sting bursts out of the room, and he looks angry!!!!
Bob: Sting, STINGER!! Can you give us an update on Dusty Rhodes?
Sting: Update? UPDATE??? LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING BOB CAUDLE!!!!! Dusty Rhodes is one of the toughest men I have ever met, but when you get attacked FROM BEHIND by two big and bad men like the Powers of Pain that’s enough to take anyone out. Kevin Sullivan, you took it to the next level, AND THAT’S FINE!!!!! YOU WANT TO TAKE THIS EVEN FURTHER THAN IT’S ALREADY GONE? YOU WANT TO GO ALL GANG WARFARE AND TAKE IT TO THE STREETS!!!! WELL THE STINGER IS READY TO DO THAT, and Bob Caudle, if Dusty Rhodes can’t go tonight, well I know just who to call to TAKE THIS UP A NOTCH!!!!!!
Bob Caudle: You heard it here fans, if Dusty Rhodes can’t go later tonight, Sting has a plan, now let’s go back to ringside with Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone!!!!
Jim: Thanks Bob, Kevin Sullivan may have had a plan, but that plan may have just blown up in his face!!!! Speaking of things blowing up in people’s faces, “The Exotic One” Adrian Street is on his way to the ring and I don’t think things have been going quite the way he has wanted them to here in the NWA!
Tony: I wouldn’t think so Jim, but you wouldn’t know it from hearing him talk, Street acts like he is unbeatable.
Jim: There is something to be said about being confident, but I think Adrian Street takes it a little too far, oh lord he’s got the microphone…..
Street: Hello my adoring fans, it is I, The Exotic One, the one who saves all of you from living such dreary lives by appearing live and in color once a week to give you something to look forward to and to live for!!! Now I have been informed that tonight I will be facing a man so cocky, and so obviously deluded that he calls himself “Gorgeous” can you believe that? GORGEOUS !!!!!!! Does he even own a mirror? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM? I honestly doubt it!!! Some come along you fool, come on down and see who the truly GORGEOUS one is!!!

And “Gorgeous” Jimmy Garvin struts out to the ring!!!! Garvin takes the microphone from GMC.
Garvin: WHOA, WHOA, WHOA!!!! HOLD UP ONE SECOND THERE PALY!!!!! You are going to show ME who the Gorgeous one is? You are going to ask if I own a mirror? Paly have you seen yourself? I’ma tell ya, IT’S NOT MY FAULT you got a face so UGLY that you gotta dress up like a goof to get any attention!!!!
That riles Street up and he charges Garvin and the fight is on!!!!
“GORGEOUS” JIMMY GARVIN VS. ADRIAN STREET
Garvin and Street are trading punches in the ring!!! Garvin backs Street into the ropes and then whips him off, clobbering him with a back elbow!!! Street rolls out of the ring to get a break!! Street starts to climb back into the ring but Garvin tries to grab him so Street slams a shoulder into Garvin’s midsection!!!! Street climbs back into the ring and tries to slam Garvin’s head into the turnbuckle, but Garvin blocks it, Street tries again, but Garvin blocks it again!!! Garvin punches Street in the gut and then slams Street’s head into the turnbuckle!! Street is slouched in the corner and Garvin climbs the turnbuckle to rain 10 punches down on Street’s head as the fans count along!!! Garvin whips Street across the ring to the opposite corner and tries to follow him in with a flying knee but Street moves at the last second and Garvin crashes into the corner!!!!
Garvin is clutching his knee and Street starts kicking at it!!! Street abuses Garvin’s leg but instead of going in for the kill Street stops and taunts the crowd!!! Street takes to long bad mouthing the crowd and when he tries to pick up Garvin he gets blasted in the gut with a punch!!! Garvin hobbles up to his feet and blasts Street with another punch that sends Street falling through the ropes and outside of the ring!!!
Garvin follows Street out and referee Nick Patrick starts the 10 count!! Garvin beats Street up around the ring, whipping him hard into the railing before rolling him back into the ring, Nick Patrick’s count is up to 8, Garvin goes to climb back in but can’t!!! Ross wonders if Garvin’s leg cramped up as Patrick reaches 10 and calls for the bell, he has counted Garvin out!!!!

Garvin still can’t move and he is pissed, he reaches down and it becomes obvious something has ahold of Garvin’s leg!!!! Garvin pulls and brings
JESSE BARR OUT FROM UNDER THE RING!!!!!!
Barr and Garvin are brawling on the floor!!! Garvin rolls Barr into the ring but before he can pounce on Barr he is pearl harbored by Street!!!! Street and Barr double team Garvin!!! They whip him into the ropes and hit a double clothesline!!! They are putting the boots to Garvin
Jim Ross: This is nothing more than a mugging!! COME ON!!! WAIT, WHO’S THAT?!?! WHO’S COMING DOWN THE AISLE?? IS THAT??? IT IS!!! IT’S
MICHAEL PS HAYES!!!!!
Michael Hayes jumps in the ring and knocks Street down with a punch!!!!!! Street is smart enough to quickly roll out of the ring!!!!!! Hayes and Barr then start to brawl!!!!!! Barr bails before Garvin can get up to help Hayes!!!! Street and Barr are in the aisle, Hayes demands a microphone!!!!!
Michael Hayes:Back by popular demand Michael Hayes is back in the NWA baby!!!! Jesse Barr, you and that freak wanna come out here and jump on my brother Jimmy Garvin? Well you jump on him, you jump on me man!!!!! And I’m not the kinda man you want to jump on because I got a real bad attitude and even badder intentions!!!! You want to hide under the ring and attack someone like a snake hiding in the grass Barr? You think that makes you bad? Well why don’t you show us all how bad you are? Why don’t you and whatever that is standing next to you get in the ring with “Gorgeous” Jimmy and Purely Sexy here next week and we’ll see if you really are bad, or if you are just a PUNK!!!!!

David: That it is….now Ricky, last week…...Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard…...they ….they JUMPED BARRY WINDHAM LIKE A COUPLE OF THUGS!!!!!!!
Ricky: They did David, and they once again showed what kind of SCUM that they are!!!!!!! Now Barry isn’t here tonight because he has a hairline fracture in his hand, But he has assured me that he will be back here next week, and he isn’t going to stop speaking the truth, and neither am I, BARRY WINDHAM MADE RIC FLAIR SAY I QUIT!!!!!!!!! And the Horsemen can threaten me, they can try and intimidate me but it’s not going to stop me from saying it.
Now David I also want to take a moment to touch on the Bunkhouse Stampede, as you know I am in the Bunkhouse Stampede, as is Barry Windham and the United States Champion Lex Luger, a man I have my issues with that I hope to get my hands on in the match, but this week the new Television Champion Big Bubba Rogers qualified as did Dick Murdoch and everyone knows those two men are double tough individuals. But let me tell you something David Crockett, it doesn’t matter how tough the other men in the Bunkhouse Stampede are, it doesn’t matter what personal issues I may have with people in it, it doesn’t even matter if they are my FRIENDS!!! All that matters, THE ONLY THING, that matters is that the winner of the Bunkhouse Stampede gets a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, and I will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to walk into the Superdome on February 26, live on Pay Per View, and WIN IT ALL!!!!!!! And then Ric Flair, you and I will finish something that we started 2 years ago!!!!
David: ALRIGHT!!! OK...Fans you heard Ricky Steamboat, he is going for it all at the Bunkhouse Stampede, so….don’t delay, call your cable companies…..call you satellite providers and tell them I WANNA SEE THE BUNKHOUSE STAMPEDE!!!!
Generic western music then plays bringing out “Hangman” Bobby Jaggers and “Wild” Bill Irwin!!!
Jim: The Dragon is ready for the Bunkhouse Stampede Tony!
Tony: You know it Jim Ross, and it looks like Jaggers and Irwin are ready to fight anyone who gets in their way, they are threatening the fans at ringside!!!
Jim Well they’ll never win any congeniality contests, that is for sure!!! But don’t underestimate them, they are both accomplished veterans, Shane Douglas and Johnny Ace are going to have their work cut out for them tonight!!!!!
Out from the back comes The Dynamic Dudes, Shane Douglas and Johnny Ace!!!!
DYNAMIC DUDES VS. “HANGMAN” BOBBY JAGGERS & “WILD” BILL IRWIN
Ace and Douglas give two fans at ringside their sunglasses before climbing into the ring, Ace and Douglas play paper, rock, scissors to decide who is going to start and Douglas wins out. Irwin starts for his team. Irwin and Douglas battle back and forth for several minutes, with Douglas using his speed to take over the match. Douglas and Ace then start using quick tags in and out of the ring to work over Irwin, the Dudes look like they have this one well in hand until Douglas runs right smack into a running big boot from Irwin!!!!
Jim: Douglas took that Texan size 14 boot right to the jaw!!!!!!
Irwin the viciously whips Douglas into the corner and tags out to Jaggers, Jaggers and Irwin beat the hell out of Douglas in the corner!!!
Jim: They are stomping a mudhole in that young man and walking it dry!!!!!
Jaggers pulls Douglas out of the corner and hits a swinging neckbreaker but Douglas is able to kick out before the three count. Irwin and Jaggers now take their teams just brutalizing Douglas. Irwin even mocks Johnny Ace waving Douglas’ hand toward him asking for the tag!!!! Irwin thinks that is hilarious, he tries to then whip Douglas into the ropes but Douglas reveres and hits a desperation belly to belly suplex!!!!!!! Both Irwin and Douglas are down and crawling towards their corners!!!!! Irwin makes his tag first and Jaggers charges into the ring!!! Douglas staggers to his feet and then makes a dive to the corner, MAKING THE TAG TO JOHNNY ACE!!!!!
Ace is a house of fire and unloads on Jaggers backing him into the ropes!!!! Ace whips Jaggers off and hits him with a powerslam!!! Ace makes the cover!!! Irwin tries to break it up with a leg drop but Ace moves and Irwin leg drops Jaggers!!!!! Irwin can’t believe what he has done but he doesn’t have time to process it as Johnny Ace hits Irwin with a move no one has ever seen before!!!
Tony: I dunno what that was, but it took Bill Irwin out Jim Ross!!!
Jim: I think that’s the move Johnny was telling me about earlier today, he calls it THE ACE CRUSHER!!!!!
Ace then tags out to Douglas, Ace puts Jaggers on the top rope while Douglas climbs the ropes in the opposite corner!!! Ace brings Jaggers down hard with a superplex and Douglas leaps off the top with a splash!! IT’S THE DYNAMIC DEVASTATOR!!!!!!! Douglas hooks the legs and gets the three count!!!!!

Rotundo offers Luger a handshake and Luger slaps it away so Rotundo unloads with punches and chops!!!!! Rotundo tries to whip Luger across the ring but Luger reverses sending Rotundo across the ring, Luger blasts him with a clothesline sending Rotundo crashing to the mat!!! Lex now goes to work on Rotundo, kicking him in the ribs several time before throwing him into the ropes and locking Rotundo into a bear hug!!!!
Jim: Luger’s plan is obvious, he is looking to weaken Rotundo for the Human Torture Rack!!!
Luger has Rotundo trapped for several minutes before Rotundo is able to fight his way out of the beat hug!!!! Rotundo lands on his feet, but Luger responds and kicks Rotundo in the gut, grabs a front face lock and then executes a picture perfect vertical suplex!!!! Luger hits the ropes and drops an elbow across Rotundo’s chest!!!!! Lex goes for the cover!!!

Lex is getting frustrated and headbutts Rotundo before locking in the Figure Four Leglock!!!!!!
Tony: Not something that we usually see from Luger, that is the signature move of the World Champion Ric Flair, Luger’s stablemate in the Four Horsemen!!!!
Rotundo is in obvious pain, but is refusing to give up as referee Tommy Young keeps asking. After watching Rotundo struggle for several minutes Jim Ross sends us to a commercial break!
Back from the break and Rotundo is trying to reverse the figure four!!!!!! Rotundo is doing everything he can to turn the hold, but Luger is fighting him for all he’s worth. Rotundo finally turns the hold and puts all the pressure on Lex!!!! Young is now in Lex’s face asking if he wants to give it up, but Lex is yelling no!!!!!! Finally Lex reverses things and rolls into the ropes forcing the break. As soon as the two men are untangled, Lex starts to kick at Rotundo and kicks him completely out of the ring. Sullivan gets tossed to the floor as Sting and Animal double team Sawyer, tossing him into the ropes and dropping him with a double clothesline!! The Brothers in Paint tag in and out several times, keeping a fresh man in on Sawyer, but the tide turns when Sting whips Sawyer into the corner and attempts a Stinger Splash , only for Sawyer to move and Sting to slam into the corner. Sawyer follows up with a series of headbutts that draws a little of Sawyers blood!!!! Now it’s the Army of Darkness’ turn to play keep away! They trap Sting in the ring and work him over. Sawyer gets a close two count after Sullivan whips Sting into the ropes and catches him with a drop toe hold and Sawyer follows it up with hedbutt from the middle turnbuckle to the back on Sting’s head!!! Sullivan gets another two count after hanging Sting in the Tree of Woe and nailing him with a knee. With their inability to get Sting to stay down becoming apparent, the two lunatics instead begin to try and wear Sting down. They use side headlocks and bearhugs to try and weaken Sting , Sawyer works over the small of Hawk’s back, looking in a reverse chin lock and executing several sit down splashes on Sting’s back. Still Sting refuses to give up.
Sting finally catches a break when Sullivan attempts a backdrop and Sting leapfrogs him and makes the hot tag to Animal who comes in a house of fire!!! Animal nails Sullivan with punches, he nails Sawyer with punches, he blasts Sawyer with a dropkick that sends the Mad Dog down!!! Animal catches the Sullivan in a military press slam and then tosses Sullivan onto Sawyer!!!! Sting is back in the ring and they hit a double clothesline on Sawyer that sends him falling out of the ring!!!! Animal follows Sawyer out to brawl on the floor while Sting and Sullivan are fighting in the ring, the referee has lost all control of this one!!!!! Animal and Sawyer are fighting in the front row when Sting hits Sullivan with a Stinger Splash!!! Sullivan staggers out of the corner and falls down!!! Sting lets out a howl to the crowd!!!!!
