Trongard and Watts announce that the AWA will be in Chicago on Thursday night, May 4, at the home of the Blackhawks, the Madhouse on Madison, Chicago Stadium! The main event will see a rematch between Steve "Dr. Death" Williams and Abdullah the Butcher for the AWA World title.

We hear comments from both men. Williams says that he'll be ready for the Butcher on May 4, and this time, he's going to make Abby pay for using that fork on him the last time they met. General Skandor Akbar says that Williams has finally met his match, the only thing that saved Doc's title the last time he faced Abdullah was that the Butcher let his bloodlust get the better of him, and it cost him the match. This time, that won't happen, and the Butcher will become the new World heavyweight champion!


One Man Gang (w/Gen. Skandor Akbar) beat Baron von Raschke by pinfall after the 747 Splash. The Baron gave a valiant effort, but the big man was just too much for him.


Abdullah the Butcher (w/Gen. Skandor Akbar) beat Sgt. Slaughter by pinfall. The match went back and forth, but the Butcher got the win after hitting Slaughter with a jab to the throat with his fork, hidden from view of the referee, and then followed that up with the Butcher's Axe elbowdrop.


Iceman Parsons beat Jack Foley by pinfall after the Butt Butt.


The Fantastics & Scott Hall beat The Islanders (w/Capt. Lou Albano) & John Tatum (w/Sherri Martel) in a 6-man tag team match. Hall, looking for some payback after Tatum stole the TV title from him, pinned Tatum following a Bulldog to get the win for him and the Fantastics.

After the bout, as Hall and the Fantastics celebrated, Tatum jumped Hall, which distracted the Fantastics. Meanwhile, Haku and Tama grabbed the tag team title belts from the referee, and attacked Rogers and Fulton, battering them with the belts.

Brad Rheingans beat Jack Foley by pinfall with a bridging Cradle suplex.


Steve Williams & Sgt. Slaughter beat The Cuban Assassins: Angel & Fidel when Williams pinned Angel after the Oklahoma Stampede, at the same time Slaughter pinned Fidel after hitting him with the Slaughter Cannon.


Scott Hall beat AWA TV Champion "Hollywood" John Tatum (w/Sherri Martel) by Disqualification. Hall had the match well in hand, and looked to be on his way to victory, when Sherri Martel jumped into the ring as Hall had Tatum covered, and Sherri started stomping away at Hall!

Suddenly, Madusa Miceli made her return to AWA TV, running down to the ring, and attacking Sherri! The two ladies brawl, as Tatum and Hall try to separate them, before getting into a brawl themselves!


Abdullah the Butcher (w/Gen. Skandor Akbar) beat Johnny Gunn via pinfall after the Butcher's Axe elbowdrop.


In a Losing Team Leaves Town match, AWA Tag Team Champs The Fantastics beat The Islanders (w/Capt. Lou Albano) when Fulton pinned Tama following the Fantastic Flip.
