Smoky Mountain Champion Paul Orndorff retained over Jim Duggan when Orndorff was DQ’ed for pulling referee Mark Curtis in front of a Duggan clothesline. After Curtis went down, Orndorff knocked out Duggan with the title belt and covered him, but Curtis refused to count and awarded the match to Duggan.
