Highlights of the exciting Windy City Wrestling roster play over Iron Maiden’s ‘Run To The Hills’:
(The camera zooms into the Windy City Wrestling studio at the Alumni Gym as Gordon Solie, Joel Watts and Paul E. Dangerously stands by)
Gordon Solie welcomes everyone to Power Pro Wrestling and introduces his colleague Joel Watts. Paul E. Dangerously butts in to mention that he’s had run-ins with Joel’s dad Cowboy Bill Watts in the AWA and he’s sure Joel is just a chip off the old block. Solie and Watts try to move the show along by announcing that we will see the debut of Lord Humongous here today on Power Pro Wrestling, as well as WCW Tag Team Champions Death and Destruction in action. In our main event, WCW Heavyweight Champion Shane Douglas with team with exciting youngster The Juicer against the ‘Black Ninja’ Kendo Nagasaki and Nord the Barbarian. Let’s get down to the ring!
WCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
Death and Destruction with Woman and Nitron vs. Ragin’ Bull Randy Barber and Mike Jackson
Paul E. Dangerously points out that Mike Jackson is the reigning Alabama Junior Heavyweight Champion, so maybe he can use a win here to get into contention for the United States Junior Heavyweight Title when Jonnie Stewart comes to town. Dangerously then laughs - and admits that will never happen since Death and Destruction are going to kill these two 'jabronis'. And that’s exactly what happens. Woman’s masked champions are huge, powerful and nasty. Death drills Randy Barber with a lariat, then drags his partner Mike Jackson into the ring. Death scoops up Barber as Destruction hits the ring hoist Mike Jackson up into spinebuster position. Death hits the ropes running with Barber still in his arms and throws his body into his partner Mike Jackson, sending both flying to the canvas with a thud. Death puts a foot on Jackson and Destruction puts a foot on Barber for the automatic three count. Woman cradles both belts as she poses after the match.
WINNERS: WCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS DEATH AND DESTRUCTION
Gordon Solie: Right now, let’s take a very special look at a man on his way to Windy City Wrestling. He’s held the International Heavyweight Title in Los Angeles, and is certainly one of the most exciting athletes in the sport today. This is Terry Taylor:

COMING NEXT WEEK: FLYIN’ BRIAN PILLMAN
(We go to Lee Marshall standing by with the manager of Demolition Next, Scotty ‘The Body’ Anthony)
Lee Marshall: Welcome back to Power Pro Wrestling, fans. Joining me at this time is the manager of the very dangerous team we saw for the first time last week. I’m speaking of course of Demolition Next. Scotty, how exactly did you come to manage this impressive tandem?
Scotty Anthony: A surprisingly good question coming from a dope like you, Marshall! It’s actually pretty simple - my family’s loaded, the Anthonys of Palm Beach. I’m sure you heard of ‘em! A family like mine has connections, and one of those connections asked me to come here to the Windy City to look after one his investments - Demolition Next. The price was right so here I am.
Lee Marshall: Who exactly is this ‘connection’ and what plans does he have for his ‘investment’?
Scotty Anthony: Wouldn’t you like to know! It’s real simple, Marshall. The Man and myself have developed a strategy and I’m going to put that strategy into action. That’s all you need to know.
Lee Marshall: A rather cryptic set of circumstances, to say that least fans. Right now, let’s go back to Joel Watts, Gordon Solie and Paul E. Dangerously for our next match.
10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT:
‘The Magnificent’ Don Muraco vs. Curtis Thompson
Curtis Thompson is coming off some significant success out in California. Tonight, he’s facing his stiffest competition as the number-one contender to the United States Heavyweight Title, Don Muraco, steps into the ring for his first appearance on Power Pro Wrestling. Both men are powerful and that shows when they lock up in a test of strength, before Muraco evens the odds with a kick to the gut.
Muraco lands some clubbing forearms across the back and sends Thompson off the ropes, but Curtis ducks a clothesline attempt. Thompson scoops up Muraco and slams him, leading The Magnificent One to roll out to the floor to rethink his strategy. Muraco soon rolls back into the ring and goes to luck up with Thompson again, only to rake his eyes instead.
The Magnificent Muraco scoops Thompson up and plants him with a running knee lift and then slams him in the center of the ring. Muraco climbs up to the second rope… and he connects with a big knee across the chest. Muraco is done playing games now, so he hoists Thompson up and plants him with that deadly reverse pile-driver. Don Muraco hooks the leg as he covers for the one… two… three! What an impressive victory for Terry Gordy’s next US Heavyweight Title challenger.
WINNER: ‘THE MAGNIFICENT’ DON MURACO

(We return with Lee Marshall standing by with Windy City Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Shane Douglas)
Lee Marshall: This young man needs no introduction. Shane Douglas, you have a preview of your upcoming WCW Heavyweight Title match at Bruiser Bedlam tonight when you team with The Juicer against ‘The Black Ninja’ Kendo Nagasaki and Nord the Barbarian.
Shane Douglas: That’s exactly right - but first and foremost, let me say hello to everyone watching us here tonight on Power Pro Wrestling. Don’t touch that dial because tonight you will see myself and one of the most exciting wrestlers in the sport The Juicer take the fight to Ronnie P. Gossett’s thugs. Gossett, I’ve heard every nasty thing you’ve said about me. You’ve said I can’t wrestle. Tonight, big boy, your two clients will find out just the opposite is true!
Lee Marshall: Tell us a little bit about The Juicer. He’s quite a… unique... individual.
Shane Douglas: To say the least, Lee Marshall. To say the very least! Some people call The Juicer the ghost with the most, some people call him bizarre. I call him exciting. There’s nobody else in the sport like The Juicer, and you fans watching at home will find that out tonight!
Lee Marshall: That match is coming later in the hour! Now, back to the ring.
(The lighting is darkened as this ominous music begins playing over the sound system)
THIS IS LORD HUMONGOUS!
10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT:
Lord Humongous vs. Porkchop Cash
Gordon Solie can’t quite get over the sheer size of Lord Humongous, who power-walks to the ring and steps right over the top rope into the squared circle. Paul E. Dangerously tells Gordon he’s seen this monster in action before down south, and he’s quite possibly the most monstrous individual to ever step into a professional wrestling ring. As Lord Humongous is being introduced, Ronnie P. Gossett walks down the aisle to scout this big man. Humongous’ opponent is now slouch, the former Southeastern Heavyweight Champion Bobby ‘Porkchop’ Cash. To his credit, a clearly intimidated Cash puts up his dukes as the bell rings.
There’s a stir in the crowd now as Woman and her bodyguard Nitron make their way down the aisle as well. Ronnie P. Gossett tells Woman he has ‘dibs’ on Lord Humongous since he made it down to ringside first, but doesn’t persist when Woman’s bodyguard Nitron sneers in his general direction. In the ring, Porkchop Cash charges with punches to the midsection on Lord Humongous. They don’t phase the big man in the slightest. Instead, he drills Cash with a knee to the gut. Lord Humongous lands several overhand strikes to the back, and then grabs a hold of Cash. Humongous levels Cash with a vicious headbutt that sends the Chopper crumpling to the canvas.
We cut back to the aisle way as Scotty ‘The Body’ Anthony makes his way down the aisle as well to scout this monstrous Humongous. The camera zooms in as blood starts flowing down Cash’s forehead. Humongous yanks Cash by the hair, shoots him off the ropes and drills him with a big boot! The bloody Cash can’t even move as Lord Humongous uses both hands to grab him by the throat, deadlift him high above his head, holds him there for several seconds in the choke and then hurls him down to the canvas. Lord Humongous makes the cover for the academy three count.
Referee Tommy Gilbert is concerned for Cash and calls for the medics after the match. As the medics load Cash onto a stretcher and rush him out of the arena. Now all three managers, and Nitron, pensively climb onto the apron and start pitching Humongous. The big man just starts at them all for a few moments, then storms right past them back to the dressing. The camera lingers on the sight of Woman, Ronnie P. Gossett and Scotty Anthony all completely confused about what just happened.
WINNER: LORD HUMONGOUS
(We cut to the Danger Zone set where Paul E. Dangerously is standing by)
Paul E. Dangerously: Even I have to admit that what just saw was impressive. Perhaps almost as impressive as the three people I’m going to introduce to you today. Last week, I made two promises. I promised that that Dangerous Alliance would run rampant over Windy City Wrestling in the year 1988. I also promised that right here tonight on the Danger Zone, I’d introduce the world to the Dangerous Alliance. Never let it be said that Paul E. Dangerously isn’t a man of his word because I have them all here tonight. Let me start with the Enforcer of the Dangerously Alliance. Come on out here my friend!
Paul E. Dangerously: If you have a television set in your home - and if you don’t, how exactly are you watching me right now? - you’ve no doubt seen this man destroying competition all across the United States. Despite what another promotion might tell you, there is only one ‘total package’ in the sport of professional wrestling and it is The Mighty Hercules. This is the most powerful athlete in the sport today, and I’ve got him on the payroll.
Hercules: You keep singing those big checks, Paul, and nothing’s going to stand in your way. I guarantee you that!
Paul E. Dangerously: A man of this calibre is enough to run roughshod over any professional wrestling organization - but wait, there’s more! The man I introduce to you now is the crown jewel of the Dangerous Alliance. Some people might call him Dirty. Others might call him Mr. Excitement. Yet others know him as Mr. Unpredictable. Accompanied by the ravishing Dark Journey, I present to you the crown jewel of the Dangerous Alliance. I present to you, Dick Slater!
Dick Slater: Paul, I’d accuse you of trying to flatter me if anything you just said was untrue… but none of it was. People like to call me Unpredictable but I’m about to tell you exactly what I’m going to do here in Windy City Wrestling. First, I’m going to walk into Bruiser Bedlam with this fine looking lady on my arm and this genius by my side. I’m going to throw 19 of the best athletes in the sport today over the top rope, and win $5,000. Then, I’m going to walk out here on TV the next week with an offer to make to the United States Heavyweight Champion - be it Gordy or Muraco. When all is said and done, I will have that US Heavyweight Title around my waist. Everything I’ve just said is going to come true. Take it to the bank. The Dangerous Alliance is here. And we’re taking over.
Paul E. Dangerously: Like a drunken philanderer once said, whether you love it or hate it, learn to love it… because… it’s the best thing going today! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Gordon Solie: I must admit that Paul E. Dangerously has amassed quite an impressive line-up for his Dangerous Alliance. They will, no doubt, be a forced to be reckoned with here in Windy City Wrestling. Another force to be reckoned with is a man we met right here last week. Here’s a very special look at the All-American Ron Simmons.
(Lee Marshall catches Ronnie P. Gossett in the aisle as he leads ‘The Black Ninja’ Kendo Nagasaki and Nord the Barbarian down to the ring for our television main event)
Lee Marshall: Ronnie P. Gossett, we saw a very strange turn of events here earlier when Lord Humongous seemingly rejected the offer that you and your compatriots offered!
Ronnie P. Gossett: I think he was just confused! I think he wears that big ol’ hockey mask because he’s got brain damage or something. Don’t you worry, Ronnie P. will sign him on the dotted line and then I can do all of his thinkin’ for him. Now, buzz off pal because my Black Ninja and the Barbarian have two hens to slaughter!
Nord the Barbarian: Huss! Huss! Huss! Huss! Huss!
Lee Marshall: Let’s see that main event right now! Here comes The Juicer!
THIS IS THE JUICER!
TV TIME REMAINING:
Nord the Barbarian and ‘The Black Ninja’ Kendo Nagasaki with Ronnie P. Gossett vs. WCW Heavyweight Champion Shane Douglas and The Juicer
The Deep Purple song ‘Perfect Strangers’ brings Windy City Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Shane Douglas down to the ring and he has a chuckle at The Juicer shooting silly string at Ronnie P. Gossett. Nord has had enough and he charges across the ring to deck Juicer as referee James Beard calls for the bell to get this one under way.
Nord shoots Juicer off the ropes for a big boot, but Juicer slides under him. Nord spins around just in time for Juicer to pull out another silly string can spray him in the face. As The Juicer chuckles, Nord drills him right in the face! Down goes Juicer. Nord and Kendo then make quick tags to keep Juicer on the mat, as Shane Douglas rallies the crowd to chant for his partner. Kendo goes for a back suplex, but Juicer flips out of it and leaps towards his corner. Douglas sticks out his arm and Juicer reaches for him, but Nagasaki with a kick to the head from behind to stop him. Nagasaki plants Juicer in the ring and goes for a corkscrew elbow. No, The Juicer moves out of the way! Both men are crawling towards their corners,
Kendo tags out to the Barbarian first, and Nord charges into the ring. However, he’s too late as Juicer finally gets the hot tag to Shane Douglas. Douglas comes in with fists of fire on the Barbarian, knocking him back into his own corner. A furious Nord comes storming out and begins brawling all over the ring with Douglas, who is holding his own against the Barbarian. Nord shoots Douglas off the ropes, but Juicer slaps his partner’s shoulder. Nord drills Douglas with a clothesline, but Juicer’s perched on top and catches Nord with a flying dropkick! The Barbarian is staggered here as Kendo Nagasaki charges into the ring.
Shane Douglas tackles Nagasaki from behind and now throws his Bruiser Bedlam opponent out to the floor. Douglas launches himself over the top rope and right down on the Black Ninja! In the ring, The Juicer is on top again as Nord staggers around. Juicer leaps, but no! Nord crushes him with a big boot in mid-air! Juicer hits the mat in a crumpled heap as Nord hits the ropes and drills him with a flying knee drop. Nord on top for the one… two… three! It’s over!
Now Nord charges out to the floor to go after Douglas, but the WCW Champion grabs Mick Karch’s chair and he’s swinging wildly. Ronnie P. Gossett grabs his two monsters and ushers them away as Douglas waves the chair at them. As the Monster Factory stomp back up the aisle towards the dressing room, Shane Douglas rolls in the ring to check on the unconscious Juicer.
WINNERS: THE MONSTER FACTORY
Gordon Solie: Certainly Shane Douglas has to be very concerned about stepping into the ring with Kendo Nagasaki at the Bruiser Bedlam, especially if the Barbarian is anywhere near ringside. Speaking of the Bruiser Bedlam, let’s take another look at the card:
