BUBBA WINS!

CORNETTE IS ON THE APRON AND IS HUGGING BUBBA!!!

WAIT!!! STEAMBOAT HAS SKINNED THE CAT AND FLIPPED BACK INTO THE RING!!! BUBBA DOESN’T SEE IT!!! CORNETTE BREAKS THE HUG AND YELLS AT BUBBA TO TURN AROUND!!!! TOO LATE!!! STEAMBOAT DROP KICKS BUBBA FROM BEHIND!!! BUBBA COLLIDES WITH CORNETTE AND THE MOUTHY MANAGER FALLS OFF THE APRON!!! STEAMBOAT THEN SENDS BUBBA OVER THE TOP ROPE!!!!! STEAMBOAT HAS DONE IT!!! RICKY STEAMBOAT IS THE SECOND MAN TO QUALIFY FOR THE BUNKHOUSE STAMPEDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tony: Welcome to World Championship Wrestling here on the Superstation, and please welcome my new co host, Jim Ross!!!!

Jim:Thank you Tony, and fans tonight we have quite a night of action in store for you!!! You are going to see two of the best pure athletes in the spot today, Mike Rotundo and Jesse Barr do what they do best and that’s wrestle. Kevin Sullivan is going to fight the man once known as Mukhan Singh, but now simply known as Norman!!! The Road Warriors are going to be in action, the United States Tag Team Titles will be on the line when Jim Cornette’s Midnight Express challenges the British Bulldogs, but that’s not all because we also have one helluva main event!!!

Tony:You can say that again Jim, because the World Heavyweight Champion “The Nature Boy Ric Flair and the United States Heavyweight Champion, the “Total Package” Lex Luger will face the two men who have qualified for the Bunkhouse Stampede, Barry Windham and Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat!!!

Jim: And you have to wonder Tony, what the dynamic between those two men is going to be, both men are finely trained athletes, both are complete professionals, but they are both preparing to go into one of the most brutal matches in professional wrestling and attempt to win a shot at the #1 prize in the game, the World Heavyweight Championship. Can they coexist today and can they do so against two members of the most tightly knit group in professional wrestling, The Four Horsemen?

Tony:That is something we are going to find out, now let’s go up to the ring for our first match!!!!!

JESSE BARR VS MIKE ROTUNDO

Tony quickly runs down the history between these two men, two weeks ago Mike Rotundo defeated Jesse Barr when “Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant distracted Barr, then last week Barr defeated Valiant in a Street Fight and used the Breaker Barr, to break Jimmy Valiant’s arm. Barr demanded a rematch against Rotundo and Rotundo was all too willing to agree after what Barr did to Rotundo’s friend.

As Jim Ross stated earlier, these two men are two of the best pure wrestlers in the sport today and they show that to open the match as they trade holds and counters, but Barr soon finds himself getting caught in pinning predicament after pinning predicament and decides to toss the catch as catch can out the window and start brawling!!!! Barr rakes Rotundo’s eyes and starts throwing punches, before tossing Rotundo through the ropes and outside of the ring. Barr follows him out and the two men trade punches on the arena floor, Barr tries to send Rotundo into the blue guardrail, but Rotundo reverses and sends Barr flying head over heals over the guardrail and into the front row!!!!! Rotundo tries to pull Barr up but Barr throws a beer in Rotundo’s face!!!!!! Barr climbs over the guardrail and grabs Rotundo, he is going to try and piledrive Rotundo on the concrete floor!!!!!!


DON’T DO IT !!!!!!


Barr tries twice but Rotundo blocks both attempts and then backdrops Barr onto the cold, hard concrete floor!!!! Rotundo then rolls Barr back into the ring!!!! Rotundo makes a cover but Barr kicks out before three!!!! Rotundo signals for the Airplane Spin!!!! He pulls Barr up and his him on hoists him up on his shoulders!!! Rotundo spins around and around and around and around!!!!!! Rotundo spins 10 times before planting Barr on the mat!!!!! Rotundo is a little dizzy himself but he is able to make the cover!!!!

BARR GETS A SHOULDER UP!!!


Rotundo is shocked that Barr kicked out, he pulls Barr to his feet and whips him into the ropes, Rotundo charges after him but Barr gets his feet up and Rotundo runs square into them!!! Rotundo staggers back as Barr sweeps his legs into a pinning predicament and then Barr put his feet on the second rope for extra leverage!!! The referee doesn’t see it!!!!

Barr is quickly out of the ring as Mike Rotundo tries to get his hands on the villain. Barr smirks at Rotundo as he walks backwards to the locker room with his arms raised high!!!!! Tony is disgusted by what Barr has done but before saying too much about it he sends us to the locker room and Bob Caudle who is standing by with Barry Windham and Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat!!!!

Bob: Alright fans, I’m here in the locker room with the first two men to qualify for the big Bunkhouse Stampede, live on Pay Per View on February 26th, but tonight they are going to team up and take on the United States Heavyweight Champion Lex Luger and the Word Heavyweight Champion “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair!!!!

Ricky: That’s right Bob, tonight Barry and I have the opportunity to show the Four Horsemen what real men are made of. And make no mistake about it, Barry and I are both individually focused on the Bunkhouse Stampede and earning the shot at Mr. Flair’s World Heavyweight Title, but we are equally focused as a unit on the match here tonight.

Barry: What Ricky said is 100% true, I know some people are questioning whether the two of us can work together when we both have the same goal of becoming the World Heavyweight Champion, but we are professionals, we are friends and besides all of that we also share the goal of running the Four Horsemen and their weasel of a manager JJ Dillon out of the National Wrestling Alliance and tonight we take another step towards that goal!!!

Ricky: Barry and I are primed and ready and we aren’t backing down, Luger, Flair, you better be ready because we are breathing fire and we are coming for you!!!!

When we return from commercial break, the man now known simply as Norman waits in the ring as the music of Kevin Sullivan hits and the leader of the Army of Darkness makes his way to the ring

KEVIN SULLIVAN VS. NORMAN

Tony quickly recaps the history behind Kevin Sullivan and the man formerly known as Mukhan Singh, Sullivan claims to have Singh in deepest Mongolia and brought him to the NWA to serve as Minister to the Army of Darkness, last week Sullivan and Singh lost to Dusty Rhodes and Sting and Sullivan threw Singh out of the Army of Darkness, stripping him of his name and title. Now Singh is known simply as Norman, and Norman is here tonight to get some revenge on his former master!!!!!!

This one isn’t pretty, it’s just an all out fight!! Referee Nick Patrick gives it a lot of leeway as he could have counted both men out or disqualified them multiple times. Late in the match Sullivan finds himself in trouble when Norman connect with a big belly to belly suplex, but Sullivan is able to get a shoulder up before the three count, Norman then slams Sullivan down and climbs to the top rope!!!!! Norman takes way too much time getting his 300 pound plus frame up to the top and when he attempts to smash Sullivan into a pancake with a flying splash he misses as Sullivan rolls out of the way!!! Sullivan then hits the double stomp and pins Norman for the victory!!!

WINNER: KEVIN SULLIVAN

Sullivan chases Nick Patrick out of the ring as The Powers of Pain run down the aisle and climb in. Sullivan is directing traffic as Warlord pulls Norman up by his hair and then whips him into the Boot of Fear from Barbarian!!!! They then pull Norman up and toss him out of the ring!! Sullivan motions for a microphone and Gary Michael Cappetta hands it to him.

Kevin: MUKHAN SINGH IS DEAD!!!!! All that remains is a fat, worthless husk!!!!! Sting!!! STIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!! CAN YOU HEAR ME STING??? Can you feel the hair on the back of your neck stand up?? Do you feel the chill in the air?? The KNOT in the pit of your stomach?? THAT IS FEAR STING!!! FEAR OF WHAT IS TO COME!!!!! Sting, listen close and listen clear, the time for threats and warnings is ova, the seven points have come togetha, the third star has merged, the lost sea of Lython bubbles underneath the sands of the Sahara, and my powa has reached it pinnacle!!! Bob: Thank you Jim, I am here in the locker room with the Four Horsemen as they get ready for tonight’s Main Event Match, and JJ Dillon I have to say Ric Flair and Lex Luger have their work cut out for them tonight.

JJ: You know Bob Caudle I am not going to sit here and insult your intelligence or the intelligence of the fans by standing here and telling you that Ricky Steamboat and Barry Windham are pushovers. Everyone knows that they aren’t because if they were they wouldn’t be here in the National Wrestling Alliance. However, Mr. Flair and Mr. Luger are the two TOP wrestlers in the sport today and they have the gold to back that up.

Flair: THAT’S RIGHT!!! WINDHAM!!! STEAMBOAT!!! HA! HA!! TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Tonight you two walk that aisle and get into the ring with me and The Package!!!! You see I have been a winner my entire life, so has Luger, so has Arn, so has Tully and we represent the four greatest wrestlers in the world today, and we are lead by the greatest mind in our sport EVER!!! Now you two want to come out here and talk about how you are going to run us out of the NWA, how you are going to take this title away from me? Well let me tell you something, you two don’t have what it takes!!! You might be two supreme athletes, but you aren’t The Horsemen!!! Tell ‘em Luge!!!!


Luger: Look at this Bob Caudle (Lex Luger flex his muscles) just look at the cream of the crop, the premier wrestler and the premier body in the sport today!!! Now Steamboat, Windham you are always talking about how we were friends, well listen closely because this is really important, WE WERE NEVER FRIENDS, I.DO.NOT.HAVE.FRIENDS. What I have is business associates that I use to get me where I want to go. You two simply got me to where I wanted to be and when you outlived you usefulness I made a better alliance, I became a Horsemen. And boy how sweet it is, tonight we take out the two biggest thorns in our side in one swoop!!!!


Flair: HA HA!!!!! I have said it once Bob Caudle and I’ll keep saying it till everyone else understands, you might not like it, but you better learn to love it because we are the best thing going today WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

JIM CORNETTE AND BIG BUBBA ROGERS ARE STANDING IN THE RING!!!!!!!

Cornette: Put your hands together and get on your feet for every woman’s dream and every man’s nightmare, from the Darkside, Beautiful Bobby!!!!! Sweet Stan!!!! THE MIDNIGHT!!! EXPRESS!!!!!!!!!!

Eaton and Lane head down to the ring, Eaton shakes hands with Gary Michael Cappetta and referee Tommy Young. Stan Lane takes the microphone.

Lane: Ladies and gentlemen, he is the man who sold Mike Tyson his first workout video, your friend and mine, MISTER….JIM…..CORRRRRNETTTE!!!!!!!!

Cornette takes a bow and hugs Bobby Eaton as Lane gives the microphone to Gary Michael Cappetta.

GMC: And their opponents, they are the current United States Tag Team Champions, Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith…..THE BRITISH BULLDOGS!!!!!!!!

UNITED STATES TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:

BRITISH BULLDOGS VS. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS w/JIM CORNETTE

Dynamite and Beautiful Bobby are kicking this one off!!!!! The high flyers of their respective teams, the two men are no strangers to taking high risk, high reward chances but they start off slow here, feeling each other out and trying to get the other one to make the first mistake. Surpisngly the two men find themselves on the mat exchanging holds and counters!!! Eaton is able to get the first pin fall attempt, but it only yields a two count, DK quickly reverses it into a pin attempt of his own which also only gets two. Both men rise to their feet ready for action, and the pace quickly picks up.

DK then picks up the pace and the action becomes fast and furious!!! Eaton showed why he is considered one of the best high flyers in the game today by keeping pace with DK every step of the way!!! Eaton catches DK as DK tries to backdrop Eaton with a swinging neckbreaker, a quick cover only yields a two count.

Eaton decided then to toss the rule book out the window and instead resort to brawling, as he battered DK with hard punches. Eaton then whipped DK into the ropes and tried for a clothesline, which DK ducked causing Eaton to miss. Eaton also missed the blind tag DK made to Davey, so when DK quickly rolled out of the ring Eaton was a bit surprised. That surprise, however, quickly vanished when he turned around, and was caught with a Crossbody block by Davey that got a two count.

The British Bulldogs then showed why they are one of the premiere teams in the entire wrestling world, using quick tags, and flawless teamwork to keep Eaton on the defensive. Eaton didn't know which way to turn as DK and Davey hit him from every possible angle. If it wasn't for a well placed racket shot from Jim Cornette , into DK’s back as he ran the ropes the Bulldogs may have been able to sew up a victory just that quick. But, Cornette nailed DK without Tommy Young seeing it, but he damn sure heard it as Jim Ross says it sounded like a howitzer going off as DK was struck!!!!!, DK collapses to the mat and Eaton is quickly on him with a knee drop to the back of the head!!!! Eaton covers but DK is able to kick out at 2!! .

Now it was the Midnight Express’ turn to show why they are considered one of the greatest teams in the world today, while not as quick as their adversaries, they are just as flawless, and what they lack in speed they more then make up for with sheer brutality. Eaton and Lane punished DK as the crowd came alive as THE WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION NIKITA KOLOFF MAKES HIS WAY DOWN THE AISLE!!! Koloff points and threatens Cornette who is quick to hide behind Bubba!!!! Bubba takes his hat and glasses off, throws his jacket down and starts to roll up his sleeves!!!!! We gotta take a commercial break!!!

We return from commercial to see Nikita in the Bulldog’s corner slamming on the mat, trying to get DK back into the match, but Eaton and Lane have back DK into their corner and while Eaton keeps referee Tommy Young busy, Lane uses the tag rope to choke DK . Lane and Eaton continue assault DK , with multiple double team moves, but they are unable to put DK down for the three count. The crowd is solidly behind DK and are trying to help get him back into the match, but everytime DK mounts a comeback, The Midnight Express uses some sort of underhanded tactic to keep DK down.

After hitting DK with a Double Goozle , Lane tries for the cover, but DK once again finds a way to kick out. Lane, perhaps looking for sometime to figure out what to do next, whips DK into the ropes and locks on a Sleeper Hold. DK starts to fade quickly once Lane tightens his grip. Lead by Davey Boy and Nikita the crowd is clapping their hands and stomping their feet trying to get DK going again. Referee Tommy Young checks in on DK, he lifts his arm and it falls once, it falls twice, but does not fall a third time. DK is shaking his fist in the air as the crowd's clapping grows louder. Lane tries to hold on with all he's got, but DK is back in this match and he is fighting back.

DK lands two elbows into Lane’s stomach forcing the Sleeper to be broken. DK runs the ropes, Lane tries for a clothesline, but DK ducks under and then catches Lane with a dropkick. DK slowly makes his way to Davey, he's halfway across the ring when Lane tags in Eaton, who makes a bee line for DK . Eaton tries to stop DK from tagging out but is too late. Davey Boy gets the tag and he's a house of fire!!!!!

Davey Boy hits the ring and levels Eaton, Lane rushes back in the ring and also gets taken down. Davey then hits Eaton with a press slam!!!! DK is back in the ring. DK unloads on Lane All four men are brawling in the ring, Tommy Young is trying to get Lane and DK out of the ring, but they are refusing to stop fighting!!!! Young tries to get inbetween them but Lane and DK both grab Young and toss his away!!! Young is calling for the bell, he has lost complete control of this one!!!!! He is DQing both teams!!!!

WINNERS:DOUBLE DQ

BIG BUBBA HAS NOW CLIMBED INTO THE RING TO GET INVOLVED IN THE MELEE BUT NIKITA KOLOFF RUSHES IN AND GETS RIGHT IN HIS FACE!!!! DK clotheslines Lane out of the ring, and then runs the ropes and launches himself out of the ring with a suicide dive onto Lane!!!!!!!

Back in the ring Nikita and Bubba are trading heavy punches in the center of the ring while Davey Boy rains punch after punch down on Eaton’s head in the corner!!!!! Bubba throws Nikita into the ropes and flattens him with a Bubba Slam!!!!!





BUT NIKITA POPS UP TO HIS FEET!!!! CORNETTE IS IN SHOCK, BUBBA CAN’T BELIEVE IT AND CHARGES NIKITA AND RUNS RIGHT INTO A RUSSIAN SICKLE!!!!

The fans explode and the roof just about comes off the building!!!! Bubba rolls out of the ring, and regroups with Cornette and the Midnight Express, The Bulldogs and Nikita are waiting for them in the ring, Bubba and the MX are about to climb back in to get this brawl going again but officials and jobbers rush the ring to keep them apart!!

Jim Ross:BY GAWD WE GOT A SLOBBERKNOCKER HERE!!!! FANS THIS ONE IS FAR FROM OVER, WE HAVE TO TAKE A COMMERCIAL BREAK!!! STAY WITH US!!!!

Jim Ross: Welcome back fans, let’s go to the locker room and to Bob Caudle who is standing by with the World Television Champion, Nikita Koloff!!!!

Bob: Alright, thank you Jim and fans, I am indeed here with Nikita Koloff, and Nikita I have to say I have never seen anyone get up from the Bubba Slam the way you just did!!!!

Nikita: Big Bubba Rogers!!!! Shto Eta!!! You have been walking around like the baddest man, but you no badder than Nikita!!! That little man, Jim Cornette, runs his mouth and runs his mouth and does a lot of talk!!! Nikita does not talk!!! You see this Big Bubba? This is the World Television Title!!!! And I am a fighting Champion!! So Big Bubba, you get that little man to sign the contract for you and you face Nikita Koloff next week for this title and then we find out who the baddest man really is!!!!!!!

Bob: There you have it fans!!! Nikita Koloff has challenged Big Bubba Rogers to meet him here next week for the World Television Title!!! I don’t know what to say but I hope we get to see it!!! Now let’s go back to ringside with Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone!!


Jim Ross: Thank you Bob, and Tony if that that match happens next week it’s not going to be much of a wrestling match but it will be one helluva a fight!!!!!

Tony: Right you are Jim Ross, I can tell you that……..

Tony: What in the world is that???

Jim Ross: I don’t know Tony, but it kinda sounds like..

Suddenly someone steps out into the aisle

Tony: Oh man, what does he want?


Street skips to the ring, slides in and takes the microphone from Gary Michael Cappetta

Street: Yes, yes thank you, thank you for that welcome. You see two weeks ago I tried to grace you poor, poor people with my glorious presence, I wanted to bring you a little class and glamour into dull and quite frankly rather worthless lives, but instead, INSTEAD, I was assualted by a Russian Gorilla!!!! But all is fine, all is fine and I am now back and I am ready to go, so Mr. Referee, ring that bell and whoever poor soul wants to get in the ring with me, well just come on out and take your medicine like a good little boy!!!!!

AND THE MAN THEY CALL STING MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING!!!!!!

”EXOTIC” ADRIAN STREET VS. STING

The bell rings and Street offers a handshake, Sting takes in and smashes Street’s hand!!!! Sting then knocks Street down with a clothesline!!!! Street staggers up and rushes Sting but Sting catches him with a big press slam!!!! Street hits the mat hard and rolls out of the ring, Street gets to his feet and shakes his head, Street throws his hands in the air to say forget this and starts to walk away!! But Sting launches himself out of the ring and over the top rope onto Street!!!!!!!

Jim Ross: MY GOD IT’S LIKE A CAR CRASH!!!!


Sting is back on his feet and howls!!!!!! Sting rolls Street back into the ring, Sting is quickly back in himself, he pulls Street to his feet and whips him into the corner!!!! Sting follows him in but eats a boot to the face!!!! Street puts Sting in the corner and unloads with punches and kicks!!!!!! Street chokes Sting in the corner!!!! Street tries to whip Sting across the ring to the other corner but Sting reverses and Street is the one who crashes hard!!! Sting wastes no time connecting with a Stinger Splash!!!!! Street staggers out of the corner and then falls to the mat!!! Sting quickly locks on the Scorpion Deathlock!!! Street doesn’t take long to give it up!!!!!!!!

Sting drops out of the ring and Jim Ross is waiting for him with a microphone!!!

Jim Ross: A tremendous win for you tonight Stinger, but earlier tonight Kevin Sullivan challenged you to meet him next week and I have to think that you aren’t going to back down from that challenge.

Sting: OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! YOU KNOW WHAT ROSSI? YOU ARE 100% CORRECT!!!! KEVIN SULLIVAN!!!!! YOU WANT ME??? WELL PAL, YOU GOT ME!!!!! YOU THINK YOU ARE CRAZY??? WELL WE ALL GO A LITTLE CRAZY SOMETIMES AND NEXT WEEK I AM GOING TO SHOW YOU JUST HOW CRAZY I CAN GET!!!! OOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!

Suddenly “The American Dream Dusty Rhodes appears and high fives Sting!!!!

Dusty Rhodes: ALRIGHT!!! NOW THAT’S WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!!! Stinger, next week you come out and you take care of bidness, you know what I am sayin??? But I know Kevin Sullivan, I have fought him to hell and back and I know you can’t trust him, so next week, I GOT YOUR BACK!!!

Sting and Dusty hug and then Sting gives out another howl.


Sting: SULLIVAN!!!!!! NEXT WEEK, WITH THE DREAM WATCHIN MY BACK, I AM GOING TO TAKE YOU OUT ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!!! OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!


Jim Ross: Next week is shaping up to be quite a show and we still have much more to happen here tonight, we have to take a commercial break, but when we come back that Road Warriors will be in action!!!

We come back to the show as Dusty Wolfe and Gary Royal are waiting in the ring, we then switch over to Tony and Jim at ringside.

Tony: So during the break not only did we find out that the match between Kevin Sullivan and Sting has been made official, but we were also told that Jim Cornette has accepted the challenge laid out by Nikita Koloff on behalf of Big Bubba Rogers for next week!!!!!

Tony is cut off as the music hits…..

The Road Warriors with Paul Ellering rush the ring, and are on top of Dusty Wolfe and Gary Royal before they can even react!!!!

THE ROAD WARRIORS W/PAUL ELLERING VS. THE PLAYBOYS

Hawk and Animal pound Wolfe and Royal into the mat, Hawk tosses Royal through the ropes and out of the ring while Animal whips Wolfe into the ropes and then crushes him with a power slam!!!!! They both pull Wolfe off the mat and whip him into the ropes only to flatten him with double flying shoulder tackles. Royal unwisely climbs back into the ring and tries to attack Hawk from behind, Hawk turns around, and clotheslines Royal about out of his boots!!! Hawk then hits Royal with a fist drop!!!!! Animal press slams Wolfe and when Wolfe uses the ropes to get to his feet Hawk clotheslines him over the top rope!!!!! Hawk and Animal then point to the sky!!! Hawk climbs the ropes while Animal puts Royal on his shoulders!!!

Garvin then whips Samoa into the opposite corner and charges but Samoa moves out of the way at the last second and Garvin crashes into the corner!!! Samoa kicks at Garvin and even chokes Garvin with his foot!!!! Samoa pulls Garvin out of the corner and slams him in the middle of the ring!! Samoa climbs the ropes and jumps off with a Superfly Splash, but Garvin gets his knees up!!!! Samoa is gasping for air!!! Garvin grabs him and drops him on his head with a brainbuster!!!!! A spotlight then hits Steamboat and he poses with the fire before handing it off and heading to the ring slapping hands with fans on the way, once he is in the ring his partner’s music starts

Windham jogs down to the ring slapping hands as well, he rolls into the ring and give Steamboat a high ten. Jim Ross says that they look like they are ready. The two men stare down the aisle and await their opponents…...

That unmistakable music ushers out JJ Dillon, followed by the United States Heavyweight Champion “The Total Package” Lex Luger and the World Heavyweight Champion “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair!!

Jim Ross: I don’t want to read too much into it Tony, but as we have been talking about all night, can two individuals meld well enough to defeat a well oiled team? Steamboat and Windham had separate entrances the Horsemen came out together, it’s a little thing, but little things add up very quickly.

After Gary Michael Cappetta makes the introductions, Tommy Young checks all four men and then calls for the bell!!! Luger and Steamboat start for their respective teams,. Luger and Steamboat go face to face, jaw jacking in the center of the ring, while Jim Ross recounts all that has happened between these four men in the past. Luger is the first to throw a punch, but it's blocked by Steamboat who fires off one of his own. Steamboat and Luger are now standing in the middle of the ring going toe to toe with punches, not exactly what we expected to see from these to, but maybe we should have considering all the bad blood.

Steamboat starts to get the upper hand and backs Luger into the corner with brutal knife edge chops, he climbs on top of Luger and begins to rain down punches hitting him with ten big punches as the crowd counts along!!! Steamboat jumps off and Luger staggers out of the corner , only to get caught with a deep arm drag!! Steamboat holds onto the arm drag and turns it into an armbar.

Referee Tommy Young checks in but Luger is not about to give it up. Steamboat wrenches the arm bar some more before pulling Luger off the mat. Still holding the arm bar Steamboat tags out to Windham . Windham comes in and continues to work over Luger's arm. Luger is looking for a way to break the hold and resorts to grabbing Windham's hair backing him into the corner. Windham releases the arm bar and it looks like we are going to get a clean break when Luger hits a cheap shot on Windham, stunning him for a brief moment. Luger tries to whip Windham out of the corner, but Windham reverses it and it's Luger that crashes hard into the opposite corner. Windham then catches Luger with a clothesline in the corner and then brings Luger out with a bulldog!!!!!

A cover only yields a two count and Windham tags out to Ricky Steamboat. Steamboat and Windham hit a Double Suplex!!!!, Once again a cover only gets two. Steamboat grabs another armbar on Luger!!! . He pulls Luger to his feet , he then tags out to Windham, whips Luger into the ropes and hits him with a Punch in the stomach doubling Luger over, which allows Windham to hit a knee lift and get a two count. Windham pulls Luger to his feet and goes to whip him into the ropes, but Luger finds a way to reverse it!! Luger ducks down for a backdrop, but does it too soon and Windham surprises him with a Sunset Flip!!! Once again two count only as Luger is able to kick out.

Both men get to their feet and Windham grabs a headlock. Luger backs Windham into the ropes and then sends him off, not seeing that Steamboat tagged himself in. Windham ducks a clothesline and when Luger turns around Steamboat catches him with a Drop Kick!!! Two count. Luger is looking for the tag now, but Steamboat isn't letting up. Luger is trying to beg off and backs himself into the corner. Steamboat tries to press in for the kill, but Luger is ready. He grabs Steamboat by the front of his trunks and falls back, the momentum carrying Steamboat through the ropes and out of the ring!!! Luger distracts Tommy Young as JJ gets a couple of kicks in on Steamboat!!!! Steamboat staggers to his feet and rolls into the ring where Luger pounces!!!

Luger has Steamboat in the Horsemen’s corner. Luger hammers Steamboat with some hard forearms before tagging out to Flair. They whip Steamboat into the ropes and clobber him with a Double Clothesline. Cover only gets two lair continues the punishment hitting a delayed suplex on Steamboat then dropping a knee! COVER!!!!

Steamboat gets his foot on the bottom rope breaking the count!!! Flair argues with Young about the count. Flair shoves Young, but Young shoves Flair back and then points at his referee patch!!!! Flair reaches down to pull Steamboat up and Steamboat surprises him with a roll up!!!! Two Count and Flair is out and mad. He puts the boots to Steamboat just kicking him into the mat. He pulls Steamboat up and whips him into the Horsemen’s corner. Flair then lights Steamboat up with hard chops, struts out of the corner and WOOOOO’s at Windham!!!! Windham tries to rush in the ring but Tommy Young cuts him off!!! With Young’s back turned Luger gets in the ring and he and Flair double team Steamboat with a double suplex of their own!!! Luger then makes a cover, Young turns around and make the count but Steamboat kicks out at two!!!! Steamboat gets to his feet but Luger clips his knee!!!!!! Luger then tags out to Flair and Flair starts to work over Steamboat’s knee!!!!! Flair locks on a Spinning Toe Hold as we take a Commercial Break!!!!!

Steamboat is holding his knee and yelling in pain as we return from the break. Flair pulls Steamboat up and executes a Shin breaker. Flair then gets up and starts running his mouth to Windham, he pushes him off the apron. Windham rushes into the ring and Young stops him. This allows the Horsemen to grab Steamboat's legs and make a wish. Luger stays in the ring and Flair comes out, when Young turns around they both swear they made a tag.

Luger drags Steamboat's leg over to the ropes. He drapes the leg of Steamboat over the ropes, Luger leaps in the air and drops his weight across Steamboat's leg. Luger then tags out to Flair, Flair quickly grabs Steamboat’s leg and locks on the Figure Four Leg Lock!!!!! Steamboat screams out in pain Young keeps asking Steamboat if he gives up, but Steamboat keeps refusing. While Young is paying attention to Steamboat, Flair is grabbing the middle rope for extra leverage. Flair gets several near falls as the pain drives Steamboat's shoulders to the mat.

Suddenly a rush of adrenaline begins to flow through Steamboat, he is refusing to give in or go down. Flair reaches over and slaps the taste out of Steamboat's mouth!!! Steamboat's head snaps back and he starts yelling at Flair , Steamboat then starts to reverse the Figure Four!!! Steamboat is fighting to turn over, while Flair does everything he can to hold on, BUT Steamboat IS ABLE TO TURN THE FIGURE FOUR OVER!!!! Now all the pressure is on Flair!!! Flair is now howling in pain and quickly rolls into the ropes to break the hold!!!!

Flair is first to his feet as Steamboat is having a hard time putting any weight on his leg. Flair grabs Steamboat and whips him into the ropes, Flair swings with a wild clothesline, but Steamboat ducks it, Steamboat and Flair then both go for a clothesline!!! The two men crash into each other and are out cold in the middle of the ring.

Tommy Young starts to make his mandatory 10 count. Both men start to stir at 4 and Steamboat is getting closer and closer to Windham. Luger tries to rush into the ring but Young stops him. While his back is turned Steamboat makes the tag to Windham who comes in like a house of fire unloading on Flair , he fires off hard chops before whipping into the ropes and catching him with a flying clothesline. Windham goes for the cover, but Young breaks it up and orders Windham out of the ring, saying he didn't see the tag. Flair tags out to Luger!!!

Windham tries arguing with Young , but Young won't hear it. Steamboat limps back into the ring and grabs Luger and whips him into the ropes, Steamboat ducks his head for a backdrop, but Luger instead kicks him in the face!!! Steamboat goes down !! Luger goes to pull him up but Steamboat fires rights into Luger face before grabbing him by the hair and throwing Luger through the ropes out of the ring!!!

Steamboat starts the slow crawl toward Windham. Dillon is trying to get Luger on his feet. Luger finally gets back in the ring, he tries to stop Steamboat but is too late, and this time Young sees it. Windham is in the ring and exploding with adrenaline. He fires away with hard punches that knock Luger off his feet, Flair is in the ring and meets the same fate, Windham then dumps Luger out of the ring and is all alone with Flair.

Windham is very fresh and he just unloads on Flair, he hits a high vertical suplex, float over, Two Count only. Windham pulls Flair up whips him into the ropes and levels him with a flying clothesline. Windham covers, but once again only two. Windham pulls Flair to his feet, whips him into the ropes and grabs a Sleeper Hold. Flair is trying to fight it. Dillon is yelling at him on the outside. Flair twists his body and then fires two elbows into Windham's side, he backs Windham into the ropes and fires him off. Flair drops his head and Windham leap frogs him, Flair turns around

Flair is fighting it but Windham has it locked in!!!!! Dillon yells at Luger to break it up, Luger rushes into the ring but Steamboat cuts him off!!! Steamboat blasts Luger with chops and then sends him flying out of the ring!!! Steamboat climbs to the top rope and jumps off with a double ax handle onto Luger on the arena floor!!!! JJ Dillon grabs Steamboat by the hair but Steamboat pushes him off and knocks JJ out cold with a chop!!!!!

Windham still has the Claw locked on Flair in the middle of the ring!!!!! Flair is busted open!!!!! Young keeps asking Flair if he gives up!!!!!


Jim Ross: THE CHAMPION IS BARELY HOLDING ON!!!! WAIT!!! WAIT!!! HERE COMES THE WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!!!!


Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard are rushing down the aisle but they are stopped by the Road Warriors!!!! Hawk and Animal are brawling with Arn and Tully in the aisle!!! The beat The Horsemen back to the locker room!!!!!

Back in the ring Flair is on the mat and busted wide open!!!! Windham is really cranking it in, Flair is reaching for the ropes but he can’t get to them, Young is asking!!!!


WAIT!!!! YOUNG IS CALLING FOR THE BELL!!!!!!! YOUNG IS SAYING THE WORLD CHAMPION HAS GIVEN UP!!!!!!

WINNERS: BARRY WINDHAM & RICKY STEAMBOAT

Steamboat is back in the ring and hugs Windham!!!! Young raises their arms in victory!!! Flair is still out on the mat, Luger is stirring on the floor and JJ is also still out cold!!!!

Why this promotion is better than real life NWA in '88 is because of results like the main event . Crockett absolutely would have just had Tully/Arn hit the ring for the DQ. By having the LOD cut the off at the pass and delivering a real finish in the ring, you just boosted the excitement level sky high.

I loved the promos throughout - but specifically you really nailed Sting and Luger.
