New Idea

Hey guys, I've had an idea kicking around for a while and have decided to see if anyone is interested. We all have our territories and shows, but I know a lot of us like a side project here and there. I had an idea to do a series of house shows someplace, and just write one, and then let someone else pick up and do the next one, and maybe a different person continue on, and so on and so forth. So anyway, I was looking at the board, and we don't have a promotion in Florida, so I thought it would make a good place to try this.  In my mind, this is just an independent promotion with no TV just running shows in Florida.  I named it Sunshine State Wrestling as a working title, and used the Florida Title, and Florida Tag Team Titles as something to defend on the show.  I booked some names from the Free Agent pool for the day, and then supplemented with some of my own talent from Smoky Mountain.  I think this would work best if we just had one show a week.  So if anyone is interested, maybe next weekend would be the next show, and then someone else could write the following week and so on.

I've already written the first show, and will post it after this post. If you are interested in picking up where I am leaving off and writing a show next week, I guess just reply here on in the comments on the show I post. It didn't take too long to write up the first show, and I don't think it would take up much time of anyone else either.  It would be cool if we had several participate, and each week someone different can pick up where the previous writer left things and continue on. I think it would be interesting to see what comes out of this, and how any stories progress with a different writer steering things each week.  Who knows, we may create a great feud somewhere along the way, or get a change to book matches between guys that we normally wouldn't get to.  Again, I have no intentions of making this a "regular" promotion, just posting shows using free agent talent from time to time.  I hope some of you feel like playing along.  Let me know in the comments, and be on the lookout for the first Sunshine State show shortly.
