Opening Match
SD Jones vs. Dino Bravo w/Frenchy Martin
Frenchy Martin brings the muscular Bravo to the ring. Dino wrestles with a very aggressive style. Jones puts up a good fight, but Bravo takes over and wins with a side suplex.

Junkyard Dog vs. Pete Doherty
The Dog comes to the ring, and the “Duke” attacks him. We are underway. Doherty tries to slam Dog’s head into the turnbuckle. That was a mistake. The Dog shakes his head, and goes right after Pete. The JYD is on fire. He hits the big thump for the win.

Hillbilly Jim vs Kamala w/Slick
The massive Ugandan savage comes to the ring. Slick is very Bravo standing behind Kamala. The popular Hillbilly. Is ready for action. Jim takes the fight to Kamala. The Ugandan is taken aback. Slick, and Kim Chi shout instructions. Kamala is enraged. He begins to chop and kick at Jim. He slams the Hillbilly and uses the big splash for the win.

David Sammartino vs Virgil
Virgil waits in the ring with referee Tim White. David Sammartino comes down the aisle...with his FATHER! Bruno Sammartino is in Ag Hall. The crowd goes crazy! The bell rings and we are underway. Bruno stays at ringside, and shouts encouragement to his son. David uses his power to work over Virgil. The bodyguard goes to the underhanded tactics. It works for a time, but Sammartino takes over. He wins with a powerslam.

Bob Orton vs. Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake
“The Barber” struts around the ring. Orton is no nonsense, and waits for his opponent. They lock up and we are underway. Orton is very aggressive. He works over Brutus. Orton goes for a cover, but Beefcake kicks out. Bob argues with referee Joey Marella. This distraction allows Beefcake to regroup. He goes to work. He whips Bob into the ropes and clamps on the sleeper. Orton fights it, but he is out. Beefcake snips off a lock of hair as a souvenir.

The Bolsheviks w/Slick vs. The Von Erich Brothers
The Von Erich's have taken the WWF by storm, but the big Russians are no pushovers. Kevin and Volkoff open the contest. Kevin moves quickly, and Mikolai counters with power. Kevin whips Volkoff into the ropes and clamps on the claw! Volkoff fights his way to the ropes, and referee Tim White calls for the break. They continue to go back and forth. Volkoff goes for a slam, but Kevin blocks it. He tags in Kerry, and the younger Von Erich goes to work. Zhukov tags in, and the fresh Russian starts to dish out the punishment. The crowd is solidly behind the Texans. Kerry hits the tornado punch for the win.

The Ultimate Warrior and Tom Zenk vs. Mr. Perfect and “Ravishing” Rick Rude
Four powerful men meet in this one. The “Brain” is not here tonight, and that’s one for the good guys. The Warrior and Perfect open the contest. They will meet at Wrestlemania IV. Tonight is a chance for someone to send a message. They lock up, and Warrior sends Perfect to the mat. He can’t match strength with the man in face paint. Warrior uses his strength to take over, but Perfect rallies using his wrestling skill. Perfect gets a two count, but Warrior kicks out. Perfect argues with referee Joey Marella. The pace begins to quicken. Zenk tags in, and it’s Minnesota vs. Minnesota. Zenk takes to the air. The youngster is very impressive. Perfect tags in Rude. Rick slows the pace. He is experienced, and he wrestles that way. Rude smoothly takes over, and hits the Rude awakening. Heenan’s men win without their manager.
