Opening Match
Barry O vs. Tom Zenk
Zenk is a handsome newcomer to the WWF. Barry O is a tough veteran who will be a stiff test. Zenk is very quick, and the Alabama fans get behind him. Barry tries several illegal moves, but the man from Minnesota counters them and wins with a high cross body.

Hillbilly Jim vs. “The King” Harley Race w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan
The popular Hillbilly meets the “King”. Heenan puts the badmouth on Jim. The Hillbilly goes after the manager. This gives Race a chance to attack. The King controls the early action. Jim mounts a brief comeback, but Race wins with a cradle suplex.

Billy Jack Haynes vs. “Iron” Mike Sharpe
Sharpe argues with the ringsiders as the popular Haynes comes to the ring. Billy enters the ring, and the crowd gets louder. The two big men lock up. Sharpe tries to match strength with the powerhouse from Portland. It works for a short time. Haynes is too much, and takes over. He clamps on the full Nelson. Sharpe fights, but is forced to submit.

The Bolsheviks w/Slick vs. The Young Stallions
Slick has put together a new tag team. Nikolai Volkoff has joined forces with Boris Zhukov to form the Bolsheviks. They are big, and powerful. The popular Stallions must use their speed. Volkoff takes the mic, and begins to sing the Soviet National Anthem. The Huntsville crowd boos loudly. Zhukov and Powers open the contest. Jim hits and runs and Boris is frustrated. He takes to the floor and confers with Volkoff and Slick. He returns to the ring, and slows the pace. This works to his advantage, and he traps Powers in the corner. The Bolsheviks tag in, and out, and Powers is in trouble. He manages to escape, and tag in Roma. Paul goes right after Volkoff. Things look good for the Stallions until Volkoff’s power takes over. He traps Roma in the backbreaker, and Paul submits.

Rick Rude w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. David Sammartino
Sammartino and referee Joey Marella wait in the ring. We hear,
“Ravishing” Rick Rude has returned the WWF! Bobby Heenan leads Rude to the ring. Rick grabs the mic.
Rude, “What I’d like to here right now is for all you inbred Alabama Cotton growers to shut up, so your women can concentrate on me when I take off my robe!”
This drives the fans crazy. Now it’s time for the match. Sammartino is strong and talented. He matches Rude move for move. Heenan is worried at ringside. Slowly the tide turns. Rick takes over and hits the Rude awakening for the win. Rick Rude is back!

Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. “Cowboy” Bob Orton
Two veterans do battle is this one. The mysterious “Snake” meets the tough “Cowboy”. Both men can wrestle and they show it in the first few minutes. They exchange holds and counter holds. Orton gets a two count, but Jake escapes, and rolls up Bob. Referee Tim White counts two, but Orton kicks out. Bob then tries to rough up Jake. Roberts fights back, and we have a brawl. The fans are on their feet. Roberts is able to hit the DDT for the win. He grabs the bag and releases “Damien”. Orton high tails it out of the ring.

The Von Erich Brothers vs. The Conquistadors
The popular brothers from Texas have take the WWF by storm. Kevin and Kerry are hot the trail of Demolition, and many fans think it’s only a matter of time until they beat the Champions. The masked team from South America will be no pushovers. Kevin starts with #2. The Conquistador is aggressive, and Kevin is in a bit of trouble. Kevin begins to fight back. He confers with rights and lefts. He then tags in his younger brother. Kerry goes to work. #1 tags in and tries his hand. Kerry is too much and lands the discus punch. He covers the masked man, and referee Joey Marella counts the fall. The Von Erich's are ready for Demolition.

Intercontinental Championship
Mr. Perfect (Champion) w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. The Ultimate Warrior
These two will meet at Wrestlemania IV, but who will be Champion? The Warrior will have to keep his eye on the “Brain”. The Warrior starts fast, and Perfect is in retreat. He lures the big man into the corner, and lands a boot to the midsection. Now the Champion is in control. Heenan shouts instructions from ringside. Perfect takes the Warrior down and works him over on the mat. Warrior escapes, and tries to increase the pace. He whips Perfect into the ropes and drops him with a clothesline. He goes for the cover, but Perfect kicks out. Heenan complains to referee Tim White about a quick count. The match continues to go back and forth. Both men end up on the arena floor. They slug it out as White begins to count. He reaches ten. Both men are counted out. Nothing has been settled.
