Bassarab takes Benoit down to the canvas early on with a side-headlock, but Chris fights his way back to his feet. Benoit shoots Bassarab off the ropes and drills with knee to the gut, then takes him over with a gutwrench for the two count. Ben Bassarab mounts a comeback with some forearm shots to the gut but there’s nobody home when he goes for a diving clothesline. Match two - ‘Dangerous’ Dan Spivey vs. Pirata Morgan
Scotty the Body once again hypes ‘Dangerous’ Dan Spivey as being unstoppable while the big man makes the long walk to the ring. The two opponents meet in the center of the ring, and Spivey immediately pie-faces Morgan! Pirata Morgan spins back up, but then eats a boot to the face. Spivey whips Morgan off the ropes and drives him into the canvas with a vicious spine-buster. That’s all she wrote - but Spivey isn’t done yet! With that sadistic smile on his face, Dan Spivey finishes off Pirata Morgan with the Spivey Spike! ‘Dangerous’ Dan puts one foot on Morgan’s chest for the three count. Who can stop ‘Dangerous’ Dan Spivey?
Winner ‘Dangerous’ Dan Spivey by pinfall @ 2:01

Scotty the Body: It’s time for the interview you’ve all been waiting for. My guests right now are Rick Martel and the Fabulous Rougeaus. Now, guys, I’m going to ask you the tough questions because I’m a broadcast journalist! So, first of all... how good did it feel to slam that chair over the dope Tom Zenk’s head last week? That was great!
Rick Martel: Let me just say, Scotty, that it’s a pleasure to be interviewed by a true journalist such as yourself. As far as last week goes, Tom Zenk got what he had coming to him! I was nothing but a friend to this man, but he accused me of cheating him time and time again! He just couldn’t accept that I’m a better wrestler than he is! Did you see what he did to that referee last week?
Scotty the Body: He kicked the referee! It’s disgusting! What a cheating piece of trash! Now Rougeaus, all of the people want to know… where do you get those mini-American flags? We love them!
Jacques Rougeau: We make ‘em ourselves, Scotty! See, my brother and I are moving here to America so we just want to show all of these great fans that we’re All-American Boys just like they are!
Raymond Rougeau: Part of being a proud American is standing up to injustice! That’s what we did last week - we defended our good friend Rick Martel from a no-good cheater! Like you said, the Z-Man physically attacked a referee. Being the All-American Boys that we are, my brother and I just couldn’t let that stand!
Rick Martel: That’s exactly right. Now, I have a message from all of our so-called former friends - the Harts, Flyin’ Brian, Dan Kroffat, Doug Furnas! We saw you take sides with that cheater Z-Man last week. That's the way you want to play it? Fine, you are NOT our friends anymore! In fact, I am making a challenge right now. Owen, I know you’re defending that TV Title tonight against William Regal. I’m challenging the winner because I deserve a little gold for all I’ve been through!
Scotty the Body: You heard it here first from the next International TV Champion! Guys, I’m sorry I had to grill you with those probing questions but it’s part of the job! Now, we gotta sell some stuff to these idiots watching at home, so let’s go to break.

Steve Blackman vs. El Hijo Del Santo
It’s a styles clash here with the martial arts expert Steve Blackman facing off against lucha sensation El Hijo Del Santo. Blackman puts his arsenal of kicks to good use, but he’s derailed when Santo slings him out to the floor. Santo hits the ropes at full speed and hurls himself down onto Steve Blackman with the suicide dive! Santo throws Blackman back into the ring, climbs up top and then catches him again with a flying cross-body just as Steve Blackman gets to his feet. Now it’s time to finish off Blackman, and El Hijo Del Santo locks in La de a Caballo (elevated camel clutch) for the submission victory! An impressive victory for Santo to propel him into the semi-finals of Super Juniors ‘88.
Winner El Hijo Del Santo by submission @ 7:16

Match four - International TV Title
Owen Hart (c) vs. William Regal
William Regal demanded this title match two weeks ago on this program and now he’s got his big opportunity. These two circle each other to start. Regal lands a series of knees to the stomach, but Hart dodges a running dropkick! Owen sends William Regal off the ropes and catches him with a chop to the chest. Just as Hart turns around, Regal is up and he drives his shoulder into the back of Owen Hart's right knee, sending Hart crumbling to the canvas. Regal is right on him, kicking Owen Hart's knee and then driving his elbows into it. William Regal works over Hart's back for the next few minutes and now looks to apply the single-leg crab. Hart propels him off and William Regal crashes into the turnbuckle. Owen Hart is slow to his feet, but he proceeds to grab Regal by the neck and slams him into the turnbuckle several times.
And now he is signaling for a piledriver and gets Regal into position. He lifts Regal halfway up, but Regal blocks it and lands an elbow smash to that looks to be below the belt. Owen Hart has a look of pain etched across his face! William Regal is right there to sweep his leg out from underneath him. William Regal charges to over grab Hart, but incredibly Hart is still fighting and he knocks Regal away with a chop. Owen Hart tries to get to his feet, but he is having trouble. Just then, Regal swoops in, grabs Hart by the wait and connects with a belly-to-belly suplex.
Regal stays on top for the cover, but only gets a two count. Owen is slow to his feet, but Regal is right on him and goes for a waist-lock. Owen puts on the breaks, reverses and drives Regal into the canvas with a belly-to-back suplex for a two count. Hart pulls Regal up and into a snap suplex for another two count. Regal fights Owen off as he gets to his knees, but Hart backs up, hits the ropes and drills him with the spinning wheel kick! Owen connected - it a lot out of him, but he connected! Owen with the cover here and he gets the one-two-three! The International TV Champion retains after a very tough battle.
Winners International TV Champion Owen Hart by pinfall @ 10:47

TV Main Event - Magnificent Malenkos (w/ Magnificent Mimi) vs. Flyin’ Brian and Bruce Hart
Flyin’ Brian and Bruce Hart make their way down to the ring to ‘Action! Not Words’ by Def Leppard - but Bruce Hart is looking over his shoulder constantly. Scotty the Body jokes that Bruce Hart getting jumped by the mysterious masked man over the last month. Flyin' Brian and Joe Malenko start off. Flyin' Brian gains the upper hand by taking Joe Malenko down and working over his legs. Flyin' Brian manages to land a series of spinning dropkicks and suplexes on Joe Malenko, but Dean Malenko slips in, forearms Flyin' Brian and then rolls back to the outside.
A rattled Bruce Hart is busy looking over his shoulder as he simultaneously tries to rally Flyin’ Brian for the tag. Bruce gets that tag just as Joe Malenko reaches his own corner and tags in brother Dean! Dean Malenko and Bruce Hart trade offensive runs for several minutes and Bruce manages to take Dean Malenko down with a big Northern Lights suplex! Bruce Hart goes up to the top rope, but Dean Malenko pops up and catches Bruce. Bruce Hart is then belly-to-belly suplexed off the top rope and he hits the mat with a big thud. But both men are now!
Flyin’ Brian is rallying the fans to cheer for Bruce Hart, but the wind was really knocked out of the eldest Hart brother. A groggy Dean Malenko staggers to his feet eventually. Dean scoops Bruce up and drops him neck-first across the top rope! Dean Malenko tags brother Joe Malenko back into the match. Joe manages to pick up Bruce and go for a vertical suplex, but Bruce Hart rolls through and catches Joe Malenko in a cradle for the one-two-NO!
Both men are slow to their feet and Joe Malenko savate kicks Hart, but Bruce Hart falls into his own corner. Flyin' Brian is tagged in and he manages to catch Joe Malenko with rights and lefts, followed by a flying head-scissor. Dean Malenko is in now, but Flyin' Brian catches him with a dropkick and sends him tumbling to the outside. Joe Malenko goes for a kick to the gut, but Flyin' Brian catches him and drops him to the mat.
Joe Malenko is right back up with a shoulder to the stomach and goes for a belly-to-belly suplex. Flyin' Brian puts on the breaks, grabs a reversal and then twists around, locking Joe Malenko in the sleeper! Flyin' Brian wrenches back on the hold! However, Malenko shifts his weight and drives Pillman into the canvas with a back suplex. Both men crawl towards their corners and make the hot tags. Bruce Hart is in with right hands on Dean Malenko, but he’s still constantly looking over his shoulder! That turns about to be a big mistake because it allows ring general Dean Malenko to knee him in the gut, pull him and drop Bruce with the brainbuster! Malenko makes the cover and hooks both legs as his brother Joe holds off Flyin’ Brian! The Magnificent Malenkos have their hands raised by Magnificent Mimi on the floor after the match as a frustrated Flyin’ Brian tends to the fallen Bruce Hart.
