Vince McMahon, and Jesse Ventura, open the show.
McMahon, “Welcome to ‘WWF Superstars’! Jesse, we are one week away from the ‘Main Event’. Today, we will see, both Roddy Piper and Randy Savage in action. Both men have big nights upcoming on NBC.”
Ventura, “Oh, most definitely McMahon, The ‘Macho Man’ could be the WWF Champion, unless Piper stops him.”
McMahon, “What do you mean, ‘stops him’?”
Ventura, “Piper wants to be the Champion, he just might cheat Savage.”
McMahon, “Roddy Piper has integrity!”
Ventura, “Not when the title is at stake.”
McMahon, “I don’t think so Jesse. Let’s move on. Along with Piper and Savage, our feature match is a tag team match, the Rockers take on the Nasty Boys.”
Ventura, “That will be a good one.”
McMahon, “Speaking of tag teams, a new team will debut in our opening match. Let’s go to Howard Finkel.”
Match #1
Barry Horowitz and Pete Doherty wait in the ring with referee Tim White. We hear,
The Bushwhackers come to the ring. These veterans from New Zealand enter the ring and go right after their opponents. They have no rhyme, nor reason to their attack. They tag in and out and brawl. Horowitz and the “Duke” don’t know what hit them. The Bushwhackers use the battering ram, and Luke pins Doherty.
Winners-The Bushwhackers
Match #2
Bam Bam Bigelow w/Slick vs. Chris Carter
Slick leads the “Beast from the East” out against the veteran Carter. Chris is able to control the early action with mat wrestling. Bam Bam is frustrated. He begins to pound away, and Carter has no answer. Bigelow uses the diving head butt for the win.
Winner-Bam Bam Bigelow
“Mean” Gene Okerlund is with Roddy Piper.
Okerlund, “With me is ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper! Mr. Piper, you step on the ring, not as a wrestler, but as a referee. Can you control the action?”
Piper, “‘Mean’ Gene, has Hot Rod ever been in control? No, but he is in the action! And I will be there in Indianapolis.”
Okerlund, “We all know you want to be the WWF Champion, and we know you and Savage have not seen eye to eye lately.”
Piper, “Savage and me not on the same page? We're not even in the same library, not that I’ve ever been in a library, but I will call it down the middle, you can count on that!”
Okerlund, “What about working with Danny Davis?”
Piper, “That sawed off midget! Davis, you just stay out of my way, I’ll handle the tough stuff!
Okerlund, “This situation is very volatile, I don’t know what’s going to happen.”
Match #3
Roddy Piper vs. Jerry Allen
Piper is at his aggressive best. He lands lefts and rights, and Allen has no answer. Piper punishes Jerry, and wins with the sleeper.

Match #4
Billy Jack Haynes vs. The Red Demon
The “Portland Powerhouse” meets the tough masked man. The Demon jumps Haynes before the bell. He hammers away at Billy. The WWF fans have taken to Haynes, and they get behind him. Billy’s strength takes over, and he wins with the full Nelson.
Winner-Billy Jack Haynes
“Mean” Gene Okerlund is with “Macho Man” Randy Savage, and Miss Elizabeth.
Okerlund, “With me are the ‘Macho Man’, and the lovely Miss Elizabeth. ‘Macho Man’, you challenge the ‘Million Dollar Man’ on NBC. There will be two referees, Danny Davis, and Roddy Piper. We know Danny Davis isn’t trustworthy, but is Roddy Piper?”
Savage, “Gene Okerlund, Danny Davis is a crook, yes he is! Roddy Piper, he’s not my friend, but I trust him...to a point! All I want Savage to do is stop Davis from cheating, do that Savage! Ted DiBiase, you can’t run anymore! Piper takes care of Davis, and I beat you for the title! OH YEA!”
Okerlund, “February 17, live on NBC, Savage vs. DiBiase!”
Match #5
“Macho Man” Randy Savage w/Miss Elizabeth vs. Terry Gibbs
Gibbs and referee Tim White wait in the ring. We hear,
The “Macho Man” and Miss Elizabeth. Savage enter the ring, and the crowd gets louder. Gibbs is a skilled wrestler, and he starts fast. He takes Savage down, it Randy escapes. Savage is now ready for action. He works over Gibbs. He slams him, goes to the top rope, and lands the elbow for the win. Savage is primed to take the title.
Winner-Randy Savage
Match #6
The Rockers vs. The Conquistadors
This will be a knock down, drag out fight. Marty Jannetty starts for the Rockers, and Number 1 for the Conquistadors. Number 1 pounds away and Marty is in early trouble. Marty is trapped in the wrong corner. Number two tags in and continues the attack. Marty is able to escape, and tag in Michaels. Shawn goes to work and clears the ring. The Conquistadors confer. Number two returns to the ring and locks up with Michaels. Two tries to overpower Michaels, but Shawn is too much for him. He and Jannetty use the Rocker dropper for the win.
Winners-The Rockers
Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura close the show.
McMahon, “Jesse, next Friday night, February 17, 8:00 PM on NBC, Randy Savage challenges Ted DiBiase for the WWF Title.”
Ventura, “With two referees, Danny Davis, a trained official, and Roddy Piper, a raving lunatic!”
McMahon, “That’s your opinion Jesse! We will find out what happens.”
