Scroll down to the bottom of the page for the shout box to chat in real time, but keep in mind everyone can see what you post so don't talk smack about someone unless you want them to see it!!

I was pacing the floor of the WCCW war room. Fritz got tired of that and threw an ash tray at me. Thing must have been made of steel! Bill Mercer is asking me to be sure and draft some "handsome young superheroes like the Lance Von Erich man". Mark Lowrance keeps asking me how my Dad likes his preaching career for some reason. Gonna be a long night....

Now, David Manning shows up with the takeout I ordered. Fritz recalls the time the Pointer Sisters came to the Sportatorium. Bronko was the only ref they had that night. Two weeks later, the Sisters released their hit "Slow Hand". Coincidence? I start singing "You want a man with a slow count". And Mr. Lubich walks in at that very second. He glares at Fritz.
"Jack, you tellin that #$%&%! Pointer Sisters joke again?" he growls.
Fritz grins sheepishly(quite a sight) as David Manning laughs out loud.

Well, it wasn't spectacular, but I'm satisfied with my night for the most part. Lost Wahoo, but I can finish out what I had for him with VTRs and maybe borrowing him once or twice. Got Garvin & Bass, two solid veterans who can do a lot of different things for me. I was a bit worried that one of the Tennessee promotions would snatch Dutch before I was done with him, so I'm glad that I was able to hold on to him. Don't worry, boys, he'll be available eventually.

I was able to pick up everyone I had on my list. Happy with that.

I was short on mid-card good guys, and the Dog will fill that role. By 1988 he wasn't very agile, but the fans still liked him, and I always enjoyed his work. Bravo is another guy I liked. I have an influx of new guys coming in through trades to give us a boost. I'm pretty happy with my roster.
